4 Ch 3: Rat problems 2
Flashback
"I hate this" thought a little rat boy while helping his mother stand up, discrimination from humans towards beasts and vice-versa are pretty common, and this time was no different from before.
"You damned furries, go to the sewers if you don't have a place to live" a group of teenage humans and demi-humans shouted to the poor duo while grabbing some rocks to throw.
"I'm sick of this, I'll show them" thought the son while walking towards them.
"Oh, you dare to approach us?" asked one of the boys in the group, not receiving an answer from the angry little rat "If you don't stop I'll throw this one using my magic" pissed of from being ignored by the son he adopted a position to throw a rock.
The beast, blinded by rage, only kept walking towards them. The teen threw the small rock leaving a small ray of light behind it.
"You don't have to do this Grant" the mother protected her son from the attack, causing the rock to pierce her left leg "Just ignore them, for me" said with a smile only a mother who loves his son and wants to see him grow and healthy could pull. This act had the son crying.

"How's everything going on the job Grant?" asked the rat beast to her son "I heard they are canceling the construction of the building" kept talking the mother who was currently laying down on a hospital bed due to an illness, this caused the son to overwork himself to pay the medicament and treatments to the hospital.
"Yeah, they said the construction is way too dangerous, but thanks to my rock armor magic I can be riskier and also take some more turns" talked the rat teen before being interrupted by his mother.
"Oh dear you don't have to worry about me, I'm as fresh as a lettuce" coughing after that sentence made it lose credibility but both of them laughed it off.
Some weeks after, his mother died witch left Grant depressed, later on, he joined a small gang where he quickly escalated in position, when he was named boss of the gang, his first order was to take revenge on that group of teens that attacked him and his mother. As a leader, he was strict but caring for his members and wasn't afraid of anything.
