Training with the devil

<Next Day>

(First person)

*Splash*

"Wake up and grab your sword." Was the first thing I heard after getting a bucket of freezing water poured on me. I jumped up still soaking wet and grabbed my bokken as I left the room.

As I was running I used my control over water to pull the water from my clothes making me dry again. I left from the back door and it wasn't even sunrise yet.

"GET TO SWINGING, KID!!" Yelled Miyamoto-Sensei. I didn't think twice and just started swinging.

"Straighten your arms out, I told you this yesterday."

"Spread your legs out more."

"Bend your knees a little."

As I was swinging Sensei was yelling out more instructions on my form and how I should swing. I adjusted my body to what he said and to my surprise the stance actually felt good.

I guess he did take into account my body type right now. I continued to swing and the sun started rising an hour into my swings. I had to keep a steady rhythm while I swung and I had just hit the half way point in my swings.

My arms felt like they were being put in a stove that was using the fire from the sun to cook it. I was sweating bullets, but I kept going. It wasn't that I was weak, but it was the sword.

While I was swinging Sensei noticed I was doing it easily, so he told me to pour more mana into it, till I started feeling some weight on my arms.

Right now I think it feels like I'm lifting 20 tons of iron. That says a lot about Sensei himself actually, because he says he's always on around 120 normally.

Then again he's not swinging it one-thousand times. My muscles were already healing, but when the sun hit me I was healing faster and faster. I started getting use to the weight, but it was still heavy.

I wanted to be able to carry it like I'm just carrying paper. So I kept swinging even as I started going off rhythm and Sensei hit me in the head with his bokken.

It was a soft hit though. He doesn't like child abuse and what sane person does? I continued swing on rhythm and I reached the one-thousand mark.

I breathed out and stabbed the bokken Into the ground thinking I could take a break.

"Put these weights on your legs and pour mana into them. Then start running around the town. The more you get use to it, the more you increase the weight." Miyamoto said. I looked at him with a slightly open mouth before picking up the weights.

"Hai Sensei." I said as I was exasperated. I put the weights on and stretched my legs before putting mana into them. I felt the weight increase, so I took it up to the same as my sword. I then dashed off around the town.

...

<Afternoon>

*CRASH*

"Shit!!" I cursed as I dodged yet another rock. Miyamoto-Sensei has been throwing things at me with precise accuracy and lots of strength. It's almost a blur, but I'm still able to see and avoid them. Sometimes my body does it naturally.

We were on the outside of the town running along its outline, so he made sure not to throw the rocks in the towns direction.

I've already ran around the village 20 times and I'm getting tired.

"Keep running, you're on the final stretch." He said motivating me. I sped up as much as I could , but he also threw rocks faster and harder. I actually did get scratched a couple of times, but they healed quickly.

That surprised him, but he doesn't seem to really care. We are in a magical world after all. As I looked at the town entrance with desperation, I crouched down and took a leap inside and fell right on my face.

I rolled over on my back as I looked up to the sky with my body drenched in sweat. My sore body was already healing as I laid there catching my breath.

"You can take a break at home, now get up." He said and walked past me. I looked at him with a straight face, but on the inside I was cursing him to hell.

'Wait, there is no hell.' I thought as I got up and dragged myself to Miyamoto-Sensei's house. I fell to the floor as soon as I walked in the door. Sensei controlled the air to make it seem like there was a fan in the house.

As I laid there recovering which didn't take long. I started thinking how much stronger I need to get. I obviously wanted to travel worlds freely, that was one of the reasons I wanted spatial control.

I just sighed and stopped thinking about it after a while.

'I'm not even near that strong yet anyway.' I thought with a sigh as I got up.

"Now that you're not tired anymore let's go to the back." He said and I just got up with a long sigh.

'I was the one who agreed to this. No point in complaining.' I thought as I stepped outside.

He tossed me my bokken and said one word.

"Swing."

I didn't complain as I got into a stance and started swinging.

"Shouldn't..we be..doing..some type..of..other exercises?" I asked between swings. I could feel the swings working on my arms and back, plus the weight constantly increasing makes me have to use my leg muscles as well, but my core doesn't feel like it's going through training at all.

"Nope, just give it a minute, you'll start to feel all that pain. Right now your swinging 20+ tons of iron, to not fall forward and to keep hold of the sword win its coming down you use your abdomen, but the rhythm I have you going makes it so you'll get the same benefits with less pain..at the moment that is." He said with a smirk.

Just then I felt a burning sensation in my torso. This was definitely working, but I'm definitely going to kill him one day. I just continued swinging till it was sundown.

....

<Sundown>

"Kid drop the sword and take a seat." Sensei said as he sat on the ground cross legged. I followed him immediately and started breathing heavily to regain my stamina. It felt like my arms had a heartbeat and I was red at this point.

My breathing slowed down and I wasn't fatigued anymore.

"Last thing for the night will be meditation. Meditating helps you both physically and spiritual, but it's not the same for everyone. You're doing this to get in a calm state of mind so don't force it or think of anything. For someone like you, this will be the hardest part of your training." He said with his eyes closed.

He wasn't wrong either. Since I'm more of a think about it type of person, I'm always thinking about something and when I'm not something will just pop up in my head.

'Hopefully I can break that habit. Well this is training for a reason.' I thought with my eyes closed.

When I did my mind immediately went to things that literally have no importance. Like bananas on ice, dragons that are really just ice sculptures, I even thought of Mike Tyson for some reason. I don't even like boxing.

It was definitely a challenge that was hard to beat, no so now, because I can basically think of three things at the same time.

When meditating was over I couldn't clear my mind at all.

....

<The Table>

"Do you think you can keep up with the training?" Miyamoto asked me with a grin.

"No." I said simply.

"But, I'll keep doing it, I said I wanted to do this training, so I might as well see it all the way through." I said with a tired sigh.

My body was stronger today and I got a place to live. The house shouldn't get that dirty anyways now that we'll be training the whole day.

"Good, because even if you couldn't I would have made you continue. With your talent and strength you'll scare the shit outta all of your enemies, and I'll be the one to train you. I do have one request though." He said with a smug expression.

"I want you to go to the Lygle kingdom and tell them you're my disciple. I want to know their reactions and the look on their faces when they realize lil old me still alive" He said and bust out laughing.

"QUIET DOWN PEOPLE ARE TRYING TO SLEEP!!" Yelled some of the townspeople.

"How could they treat me, the chief this way?" He asked.

"Because your a loud mouth. Goodnight Sensei." I said and got up from the table to put my dishes away.

I was on a meat diet like he said, but there were obviously other things in there to supply me with the perfect balance of nutrition.

After washing my dishes, I went to my room leaving Miyamoto to drink himself to sleep. Months that lead up into a year went by and I was finally done with Senseis training.

....

<Two years later>

(Third POV)

In a town that was almost completely closed off from any civilization was a special boy. That boy was currently in the backyard of a Japanese style house swinging his sword.

The boy looked to be ten, but he was actually nine. His black hair had a slight purple shine when the sun hit it and so did his eyes. It was like he himself was absorbing the light that hit him.

With his shirt off you can see som muscle starting to form, but from his stance and swinging of his bokken you'd think he's been training for years.

Akihito was currently doing his ten-thousand swings for today.

"9,999...10,000!!" Akihito breathed out a heavy breath and stabbed his bokken into the ground. Even though he was done with his training his skills could still be refined, but this world was only for a foundation anyway.

Though he was slightly conflicted on one thing.

"Alright kid, let's go on break." Miyamoto said as he stood up with a smile.

A/N: I'm not going to do a full recap of everything he's learned because it's too much. I'll bring it up and give you a brief explanation.
