49 Two kicks

The storm tribe was glowing with its usual mystical scenery.

The flowing buildings and the large number of apprentices roaming about the compounds. It left one feeling as though it was a university.

However, the mystical sights surrounding the place was irreplaceably unique.

Within its halls of majesty. A mural was set upon the walls surrounding this Tribe

The world was a flowing masterpiece within the Tribe.

It held all manors of areas controlling the surrounding regions for distances someone of Earth would disbelieve upon hearing.

The greatness of the Tribe was only known to the Shamans that walked about its halls.

One would think the tribes were in some form lacking in its name but to the Shaman's that lived in the Storm tribe. It was a completely different setting.

Research was a prevalent subject in the tribe.

The shamans of history were but once normal humans that roamed the world and tried to carve out their place among its vast lands.

They researched, learned, and adopted the world's unique properties and knowledge into themselves, thus gaining powers unheard of in the past to the human species.

They grew upon each of their ancestor's knowledge and developed into a thriving union of great men and women who could achieve the untold and break the impossible. A glorious civilization was thus built upon its successive growth.

What once held mysteries and secrets in the outside world had become pawns and tools within the hands of great Shamans. The world they lived in was vast and many things existed within its confines but Shamans used that to their advantage and grew so that they could lay claim to their desires.

Several different tribes grew into existence and supported a massive army each in their own respect of knowledge and people to claim lands and grow their species.

"For the glory of our race and its ascension"

A young boy and girl read the lines carved in the walls and couldn't help but marvel at the sight that was upon them.

They enjoyed reading the great little things left behind every nook and cranny of this Tribe. It was their favorite pastime.

Just as they were discussing where to go next. They saw the birds fly away from over the wall.

They were near the gate so so they got curious and walked over.

"What do you think is happening over there?" The girl asked the boy.

He replied uncertainly. "I think something has appeared that scared off the birds."

They kept looking and noticed that there was a small sound coming from the woods near the tribe.

"What is that sound?" The boy asked this time while the girl focused her hearing.

"It...it sounds like.... yelling?" She replied while holding an inquisitive gaze on their line of sight. They were getting more curious but the longer they stood there. The more they realized something.

"It's getting louder!" They both said at the same time while wondering what it could be. They were in the safety of the tribe and didn't believe whatever it was could get past the guarding walls and gates.

The Tribe was a beacon of respect and deserved its praise in strength. However, as the sound of yelling grew louder, the pair of boy and girl couldn't help but wonder if they should report this.

Seeing as they weren't sure. The boy suddenly yelled at a passing Elder that happened to be there.

The Elder noticed the commotion and was going to ignore it but they too heard the sound of yelling coming from the forest. Being an Elder their senses were much more pronounced.

"What the hell is going on?" A grumpy old man's voice was heard.

The boy and girl were shocked at the reply before stuttering out an answer. They explained that they had passed by and started hearing this noise after all the birds nearby had made a scene.

"You think something from the forest can actually get in here?" The Elder asked again but slightly dissatisfied.

"No! It's just we thought we should warn an Elder in case something is going wrong..." The girl came out quickly with a reply that seemed to calm that Elder down.

"That might be wise at times of war but right now, this isn't the type of things you should be worried about but instead learning to cultivate and grow stronger!" The Elder started reprimanding the two kids as they were so young and not used to their ways.

As the Elder decides to go over the importance of cultivating one's energy and achieving higher peaks.

The yelling suddenly got explosive.

"AGHHHHHHH" A group of yells was heard.

The Elder turned around at the sudden change only to notice Four boys running at their fastest speed towards him.

One of them was even carrying a cart with two girls in it. However, this was what the Elder saw.

The boy and girl just saw people shooting towards that at a shocking speed. One green, one red, one blue, and one purple?

As they saw how fast they were coming, they also noticed they weren't stopping and the yelling just intensified.

Suddenly they heard the purple one say jump. At this signal, the people in the cart jumped and the Purple guy did a complex maneuver and suddenly an explosion occurred. The Tribe gate shone for a second before everything calmed down.

The Elder who was watching them much more clearly noticed the large boy say jump at which the two girls simply closed their eyes and jumped. The boy then performed a complex move of stopping his velocity at point-blank right in front of the gate, grabbed the girls, and shot in the opposite direction.

Given they were only a few meters away at this moment.

The shock from the cart that the girls were in suddenly shooting towards them at high speed was something they weren't prepared for or at least the boy and girl.

The Elder simply had his eyes on the boy who just jumped and lost focus.

The power of the Storm Tribe showed itself as the gate recognized an immediate threat and simply disintegrated the simple wooden cart.

Not even a second later, three others who were running lost gas and fell onto the floor around them. They were trying to gulp as much air as they possibly could while finally resting.

The boy and girl pair with the Elder was simply confused at this moment.

The Elder regaining himself first immediately got furious."What sort of buffoonery is this!? You six do realize this is THE STORM TRIBE! Correct?"

Penta who wasn't too far away noticed the Elder and suddenly felt that he really had an issue with them as he kept running into them everywhere. This at least placated his reasoning for joining the tribe being the great resources considering a lot of people seemed to be Shamans.

Taking a few seconds to put the girls who were scared a few seconds ago down while gently patting their heads.

"Let your honorable brother take care of this." He said to them before walking towards the Elder a few steps away.

"Sir-!"

"CRASH"

The sudden impact against a sturdy wall caused the surrounding people to take notice but the shock was even more prominent to the now three girls and one boy who were standing there with mouth agape.

"THE HELL YOU MEAN HONORABLE BROTHER! WHAT KIND OF NARCCISTIC PIECE OF CRAP TURNED UP IN MY TRIBE?" The Elder was shouting furiously at the impact on the wall.

"GET BACK HERE!" The Elder yelled again seeing no movement.

Penta who feigned innocence suddenly got back up and dusted himself off while having a face that didn't know whether to cry or laugh.

"Uh yes, Elder!" Penta ran forward and immediately tried to kowtow.

"BOOM"

Another bullet was shot into the surrounding walls.

"WHO THE HELL WANTS YOU AS A DISCIPLE!? COME BACK HERE AND JUST STAND IN FRONT OF ME!" The Elder roared again even louder.

Penta's ears were ringing while the few bystanders around him suddenly decided to escape this lunatic who had gotten the ire of the Elder.

"uhh-Yes, sir!" Penta once again attempted to rush back but it seems he was still feeling a little dizzy from the sound waves ringing in his ear.

As he stood in front of the Elder he couldn't help but start sweating for some reason. The Elder's pressure was heavy and he just came back from a mad sprint.

'Who the hell is this old man!? What the hell did I do? Why was I shot into the wall!? Injustice! I seek retribution!' Penta's mind swirled in thoughts before a cough caught his attention back.

"You!" The Elder looked at Penta and said.

"ME!" Penta just automatically replied as he was nervous from the pressure. He couldn't help it as he was simply feeling powerless in front of this old man.

"Name."

"Penta."

"Attributes."

" Darkness, Nature, Earth, Metal & Spirit."

There was a moment of slight shock in the Elder's eyes before he continued without changing his expression. Even the ever paranoid and present Penta couldn't notice that one.

"Skills."

"Uhm... Elder."

"SKILLS!"

"Yes, apprentice spirit creation."

"What?"

"Apprentice grade spirit creation skill?"

"WHAT!?"

"..."

"..."

"..."

"Cough. Good. Come with me."

"Wha~"

The crowd that was present.

"..."

"Brother?" "Bwutha?"

"ha...hahaha.....hahahahahahahahaha!" A sudden burst of laughter with explicit build-up started echoing.

"He was taken away." Griss and Faren started rolling in laughter/

"Honorable brother was taken..." Karu felt shaken. He was worried as without Penta his winnings from the first tournament would become void.

"What happened!?" Kaya was worried.

"It seems like he was taken away by the Elder because of their discussion." The girl standing not too far away with the boy next to her spoke.

This caught the attention of Kaya and little Sana.

"Who was he?" Karu asked them while trying to pick himself up.

"Elder Gyo Shen" Faren replied while finally managing to control his laughter.

"The coot?" Griss replied after which they both started bawling their eyes out in laughter again.

--

"LET GO OF ME!!!!" Penta yelled but was completely ignored by the clamping arm around his waist and arms.

"No." The Elder replied as he shot from street to street and navigated his way quickly into a simple hall.

He rushed past a few doors and people and entered a secluded chamber. He dropped Penta.

"Clap!" His hands came forth with strength.

The lights turned on.

"Neat. Clap triggered lights but why-""

"Quiet,"

"Sigh..."

Elder Gyo walked to the desk nearby and sat down before pointing at Penta and signaling him to sit down in front of him.

'What the hell is this? Some sort of forced interview!?" Penta mused as he without energy walked over.

--

"So who are you?" Kaya asked the boy and girl after the idiots stopped laughing.

"My name is Teek and this is my Sister Tera." Teek replied to Kaya's question while looking at them waiting for their answers.

"Ah, I am Kaya and this is my little sister Sana and these three are... Griss, Faren, and Karu." She pointed at each individually while giving their names.

"I see, if I may ask. Why were you running so fast to get here?" Teek asked while Tera propped her ears out too wanting to know the reason.

"Uhm... it was a competition," Kaya replied while sighing leaving the duo to give an odd look their way.

Sana was curiously observing the two.

The boy had dark brown hair and a simple face that wasn't too handsome nor too ugly while the sister had similar features just with a more feminine tone while also having longer brunette hair.

They seemed simple but they were also twins. Sana was even more observant as she noticed that they were wearing slightly different looking uniforms. Kaya also noticed this and wondered what the special meaning is behind it.

"Oh, you are gardeners?" Karu asked as he got up and got closer.
