1 Meeting

I was was walking around the small park when I noticed that someone was following me. I didn't know whether it was just me being paranoid, so randomly pretended I got a text and turned around.

I hadn't expected the person behind me to be so close. I walked straight into him

"gosh, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to!" I said quickly. I looked up and felt my face go hot.

"Oh it's fine. Are you rk800?" the person asked. I looked at him, noticing he was an Android.

"y-yes I'm rk800. But I'm called c-Connor." I said. He grinned slightly.

"I'm rk900, also known as Nines. I'm your new partner." Nines told me. I couldn't concentrate. His voice... His looks... he was my upgrade, but he looked nothing like me.

Wait, was I crushing on my replacement??
