1 Prologue

In the year 1998, explorers exploring the the mines in the Nevada dessert discovered an abnormal formation of stones deep within one of the caverns. The discovery was reported and quickly became a hit spot for reporters and scientists.

Scientists discovered that strange markings were etched into the stones and the stones seemed to form a doorway. As scientists began digging around the doorway, a bright light erupted from the markings and a gateway appeared.

The government quickly became involved and sealed the area off, preventing bystanders from entering the area. A team of scientists and soldiers were quickly dispatched to investigate the gate and determine where it led to.

One of these scientists, Augustus Blackthorne, was tasked to lead the expedition. When the team entered through the portal, they realized they were in another world. This dark world, which they discovered was called the Outer Rift, appeared to be a wasteland, however it was not without inhabitants.

The team quickly realized they were being hunted and before they could escape, were attacked by monstrous creatures, who killed half of the team.

In a panic, Augustus and his team escaped through the portal, but not before they managed to extract a sample of DNA from one of the beasts. The gateway was quickly sealed and taken into the custody of the government.

After the incident, Augustus proposed to the board of directors that the creatures he faced were of demonic origin and suggested, with the help of the government, would be able to take the DNA that he extracted and would be able to use it to infuse into soldiers, which could then turn them into super soldiers.

Intrigued by this notion, the government allowed Augustus to begin his tests and also created Genesis Co, to assist and fund his project, which he called the Rizun Project. In the months following, however, the Rizun Project, was looking to be a failure, as most test subjects either died due to the DNA infusion process or turned into monstrous creatures.

The government soon ordered that Augustus stop the project and destroy any remnants of the project as well. Augustus, feeling his plans would succeed, lied about destroying his research and continued to work on the project with his loyal followers.

It was soon after this that Augustus performed his first human test. In the year 2005, a man named Logan became the first human in the Rizun Project to successfully survive and adapt to the DNA infusion test. Interested to see how successful his first test subject would be, Augustus released some of the previous test subjects to cause chaos in one of the testing facilities. Logan, and a team were dispatched to address the situation.

To Augustus' surprise, Logan had bonded so well with the demonic DNA that he developed powers from it, which surfaced during his mission.

Determined to ensure that Logan remained loyal to him, he had him brain washed upon returning from his mission. Several months later, specimen number two, Edward, escaped from the containment facility, he too had bonded successfully with the Demon DNA.

In order to stop Edward, Augustus sent Logan to capture him. Logan and Edward fought, but in the end gravely wounded each other. Augustus quickly took both Logan and Edward and fused them together to prevent loosing his most promising test subjects.

The fusion was a success and thus Kent was created. Kent, upon awakening, struggled to live with what he was. Augustus was determined to perfect his experiment with Kent, until one night, Kent was visited in a dream by Logan, and Edward, who told him of his past and told him to live for himself. Angered by what he was told, Kent escaped the facility and went into hiding. In 2008 The government began catching on to what Augustus was up to and created a counter insurgency group to put a stop to Genesis Co. This organization was called Noble Cross. Noble Cross discovered Kent's whereabouts and tracked him down, offering him protection and freedom if he agreed to assist them in stopping Augustus once and for all. Kent agreed to the conditions and joined Noble Cross, where he met Kari, and Jake, two operatives who were tasked to assist Kent.

During the operation, Augustus revealed that he had made another specimen that would be able to take down Kent, and his name was MAC. During MAC and Kent's battle, it awakened the portal into the Outer Rift, allowing a demon to emerge and gravely wounding Jake.

Before Kent and the others could do anything the portal sucked in everyone, leaving Jake in the facility. Later, Jake awoke, noticing that his injuries had healed and that he possessed abilities of his own. Jake quickly reopened the gateway and entered the Outer Rift in an attempt to save his friends.

As the battle raged in the Outer Rift between Kent and MAC, Jake quickly reunited with Kari and was able to meet with Kent before MAC delivered a devastating blow to him. Out of rage, Jake released his new power, which destroyed MAC and allowed for him and Kari to escape the Outer Rift, but not without notice.

Puzzled by the events that took place, Kari and Noble Cross ran tests on Jake to determine where his power came from. It is discovered that the demon that attacked Jake was an Alpha Originator and was able to transfer its DNA to Jake without going through the process that Kent went through. Noble Cross out of concern for Jake, immediately put him into protective custody. Sixteen years later, in the year 2024 Jake and Kari are living peacefully together outside of Denver. The two have a son named Jace, and all is well until Augustus and his men arrive.

It is revealed that Augustus has been tracking them for some time and that he has his own weapon now to combat Jake's demonic powers and reveals his newest specimen, Malcom. Malcom quickly kills both Kari and Jake, and begins hunting for Jace, who is in town with friends.

Upon returning, Jake discovers the bodies of both of his parents, and awakens to his power that he has been given by his father and mother. He begins to fight off Augustus and his men with his friends, until the battle is quickly overturned when Malcom kills them and takes his closest friend Jesse with him. Jace, out of despair of loosing his friends retreats to plan a way to hunt down Augustus and Malcom. Jace a month later shows up to a cemetery to visit his parent's graves and promises to avenge them.

One year later Jace catches up with Augustus at his new facility and begins to destroy everything. Augustus tries to escape, but is killed in the process. Malcom tries to fight Jace, but he too is killed.

Thinking that his vengeance has been obtained, Jace is confronted by his friend Jesse who he believed to be dead. Out of fear and the need for power, Jesse joined Genesis Co and was allowed to be experimented on to strengthen the powers he currently had. Jace, out of anger for Jesse choosing to join the enemy, attacks and the fight between them begins. It is revealed during the fight, that the reason why Jace is so powerful is because his mother possesses Spiritual Aura, which can be used by any human, however must have the strength to wield it, and also has his demonic power that he obtained from his father.

Jesse reveals that he and his friends also possessed Spiritual Aura and that is why their families lived near Jace, because their parents worked for Noble Cross and were assigned to protect them. The fight concludes when Jace is able to awaken his Spiritual power and combine it with his demonic power and use this power to deliver a finishing blow to Jesse.

Gravely wounded himself, however, Jace collapses. Noble Cross discovers Jace and quickly recovers him and saves him from his injuries. Jesse on the other hand is summoned to the Outer Rift, by a demon named Primyus, who reveals his plans to unleash his underlings into the human world and take it over.

Jesse agrees to help, in return for more power, which Primyus grants. With both Jesse and Primyus, they are able to rip open a gateway into the human world, unleashing demons into a city called Resenwar, which is close to where the original portal opened initially.

The government discovers the portal opening and dispatched Noble Cross and the military to engage the demons and close the gateway. Jace leads the counter attack only to come face to face with Jesse and Primyus.

Primyus reveals that it was he, who started all of this and that it was his DNA that Augustus took from him, and that this was his vengeance on mankind. Jace engages both Jesse and Primyus, but is quickly overpowered. Before Jesse can deliver the final blow, a Noble Cross agent steps in the way of the attack and intercepts it.

Jace, shocked and confused by this act, is told by the agent that he is Kari's father and his grandfather. Learning this, causes Jace to surge with enormous amounts of energy, which allows him to become a Nifilhiem and allows him to defeat both Jesse and Primyus.

The demons after seeing their master defeated, retreat back to the Outer Rift, where Jace seals the entrance for good.

The series takes place 10 years after The events in Resenwar and follows a character named Jasper. Jasper is a special agent attached to an oragnaization called Segma. The years following the demon war that took place between Noble Cross and Genesis Co resulted in the United States government developing a special oraganization that would combat the evils in our world and the Outer Rift.

As a result, Segma developed the Primal Program, which scientists took DNA from the top animal species across the globe and infused them with Spiritual Aura, creating the Primal Index. Infusing the Primal Index into a host would then give the host power beyond imaginable and would be considered a super solider and be called a Primal Code, capable of defeating any foes that would stand in their way.

All is going according to plan with the project until a select few of the operatives begin craving more power and turn against Segma. Jasper, however, stays loyal to the organization and is tasked out to hunt and retrieve all of the Primal Codes that have escaped and are now causing chaos. The series will follow Jasper as he hunts down his fellow Primal Coders and learns to control his own abilities.
