A teenage boy, who was about 6 feet tall, walked out of the school gate with another boy beside him, who was about 5' 11."
The taller boy had slightly long black hair moved to right side of his korean/white mixed face, with the tips just above his deep amber eyes. He looked slim but had defined muscles that could be faintly seen through his clothes. He sported a sweatshirt with the Abercrombie & Fitch logo, blue ripped jeans, and a black-and-white checkered sneakers from Vans that perfectly complemented his handsome face and pearly white skin. A black Jansport backpack hung from his shoulders and shook with every step he took.
The slightly shorter boy next to him looked European and had brown hair that was brushed to the back of his head. He had a lean build with little muscle and moderately tanned skin. He wore a red plaid button-up shirt over a solid white shirt, black skinny jeans, and the same black-and-white checkered Vans. In contrast to the taller boy, he shouldered a white Jansport backpack that hung loosely down his back.
As they approached the parking lot, they saw a beautiful blonde woman, standing in front of a sleek black BMW, waving at them vigorously. It was Katrina, Charles's step-mom.
"Over here, Charlie!"
*sigh Charles helplessly smiled. No matter what he said, she wouldn't stop calling him 'Charlie.'
"Hi, Mrs. Raylan!"
"Why, hello there Zach. Thanks for being with Charles all these years."
"No problem, Mrs. Raylan. As his best friend, it's my duty to watch over him!"
Zach lightly patted his chest and put his hand on Charles's shoulder, smiling smugly.
Katrina laughed and asked,"So how was your day boys?"
"Haha, Charles received another confession today! It's the 10th one this year!"
"Wow, our little Charlie is getting all girls now, isn't he?"
"Mom, I'm already a junior. You should stop with the teasing now, shouldn't you?"
Katrina didn't reply and just smiled. Charles released another helpless smile and got into the car with Zach.
During the car ride, Charles looked out the window, thinking about the past 6 years.
'I turned 15 two months ago, now I just need one more point and I can finally fully unlock all the functions'

[Oh, sorry about that. I must've forgotten about it in the introduction.]
*sigh
'Well, can I open it now?'
[Yeah, here you go. A lottery ticket, 3 free Attribute Points(AP), and 3 free Skill Points(SP).]
'Lottery ticket? What's that for?'
[A lottery ticket is used to spin the Lottery Wheel. One ticket, one spin. There are five categories: AP, SP, Traits, Coins, and Skills.]
[It gives a random number of AP and SP and 5 is the maximum. Similar to your Absolute Tenacity Trait, a random can be given, but this category is the rarest. Coins are the currency that allows you to purchase items in the shop. Lastly, a random skill with 5 points in it is also possible.]
[The lottery and shop functions will be unlocked when you meet the unlock requirements.]
'Alright, then. Put 2 points into flexibility and 1 point into Speed.'
[Requirements are met. Unlocking all functions.]
[Just think 'Menu' and you can see all the functions available.]

In front of Charles's eyes a tab list appeared with only three functions: Shop, Functions, and Mission.
'There're only three functions? Really?'
[More can be unlocked in the future, and besides, you can buy more functions in the Shop.]
'Wait, really?! Open Shop!'
In the Shop there were multiple tabs on the top of the screen: Function, Skills, Items, and Special. Charles eyes sparkled and chose to open the Function tab. There was a list of the different functions available and the price of each next to it. He glanced at the prices and was astonished by what he saw.

The list looked like it never ended and the lowest price Charles saw was a function called Corporeal System, listed at the price of 1,000 Coins. He didn't know what it did, but it looked useless to him and decided to forget about it.
Charles then went to the Skills Tab and saw similar prices there as well. The Special Tab had miscellaneous things that were apparently on sale, but they looked like a rip-off too. The only affordable things were the items on sale. Charles had high expectations for it, thinking it had some OP items, but he was sorely disappointed; all he saw was toilet paper, toothbrushes, and etc.
'Yo System, what's with all this crap? I thought you would be the one helping me here? And what do you mean buy more Functions in the Shop?! I don't have a single Coin but you're already charging me 50,000 Coins for a function??? Isn't this a scam?!'
[Geez man, you gotta calm down. As you progress, Coins will become a commodity. Missions will also reward you with some Coins as well.]
Charles took a deep breath and gathered his composure. He reset his thoughts and then something strange stuck out to him.
'Yo, System, why do you sound like a person now? Weren't you like a robot or something?'
[Ok, buddy, listen here. The formality in the beginning was me following protocol, alright? I mean, would you like to act like a servant towards someone all the time?]
'Yea, you got a point.'
[From now on, you and I, we're partners.]
