On a certain street,many people was gathering and murmuring something.

"Hey,i think we should call an ambulance."

"Huh? what's the point on calling an ambulance when the patient/person was about to die?"

The people was surrounding a 16 years old young man,they are looking at him with pity gaze.They couldn't imagine that this young man will die at a young age,tsk!it was really a pity.

The young man who was laying on the ground and was bathing on his own blood slowly look at the onlookers,they are just looking at him with a pity gaze.

'Is this the end?am i going to die?sigh,i couldn't even thank my parents for taking care of me this 16 years.Well,atleast the very least that little girl was saved.'

The young man thought as he close his eyes,he couldn't take it anymore,his eyelid feels so heavy.His consciousness started to get dark and he can feel his body started to get cold,even the sound of his heart started to slow down,this is the end of him!

His heart finally stopped,and the surrounding gotten much more peaceful.----but suddenly...

"Fantastic!the summoning was a huge success."

An unknown man voice came on the young man ears,the young man who felt the peacefulness suddenly open his eyes in instinct.Only then he can see many people wearing black robes,their eyes was covered in shadow except for the middle aged man infront of him.

The young man who just die now immediately look at his hands,he couldn't believe it!did he just got reincarnated as a young man?or a middle aged?he didn't know what his appearance look like but base on hands it must be a guy on his twenties or thirties.

But it doesn't matter,the young man look at the shield that was attached on his arm with a frown face.This shield look very familiar!and the clothes that he was wearing now really look familiar too.

He scan his surrounding and he noticed that he isn't the only one who was summoned, because there are three guy beside him standing with a different weapon their hands.

The yellow guy have a spear

The four eye glasses have a sword and lastly the young man with green hair have a bow.

Their weapons was way much better than him,the young man look at them with a surprise face.He couldn't help but spoke on his mind 'D-don't tell me that i got reincarnated on the rising of the shield hero?and if i had to guess,then i am naofumi right.'

'Right!'

A female voice suddenly echoes on his ears,the young man or Naofumi who is originally sitting on the floor suddenly jump out of his instinct.

"W-who are you?!"

Naofumi shouted while looking at everyone with a vigilant eyes,he was looking at everyone carefully,he was looking for the girl who just spoke.

Everyone was looking at him with a curious and confuse face, Naofumi frown while looking around.Because everyone here was boy and there is no girl!so who in the world spoke just now?a ghost?

"W-what is wrong great hero?"

The guy with blonde hair ask while looking at Naofumi, Naofumi look at the blonde hair guy.It seems that this guy was the leader of this group, Naofumi shake his head and said with a nonchalant tone.

"Nothing,we don't know what's happening to us now.So can you kindly explain it to us?"

"Y-you're right one of the great hero,please great hero,our world is entirely need on saving!"

The middle age man spoke while looking at them with his hands trembling, Naofumi look at his shield before he remember how powerful it is.He couldn't help but smirk while thinking about it,he have the legendary shield that can....oh he forgot how powerful it is.

"Seriously?"

"What do you mean by entirely need on saving?"

The green hair young man ask as he pluck his bow,he look at them.The middle age man slightly raise both of his hands and said "There is long and complicated story behind this,but we have summoned you four cardinal heroes using an ancient ritual."

Naofumi silently look at them,he already know about the story behind this but he already forgot about it.

"Our world move unsteadily as it is now in the brink of destruction."

The middle age man clasp his hands together and spoke while bowing his head "We beg you oh great hero,please help us."

At the end of the sentence,all of the robe man bow their heads head.Naofumi was ok with it,since he will meet his wife's in the future.But the others, Naofumi turn his head and look at the faces of the other hero.As expected,their face was unmoved.

"I refuse."

The four eye said with firm voice,after that he was followed by green hair guy.

"Likewise."

"We can go back to our world, right?"

The yellow hair guy said and continue "If that's the case,then we can talk about your problems."

Naofumi stay silent while watching these guy spoke in a firm voice,the four eye guy raise his sword and pointed it onto the middle age man.

"Don't you guys feel any or slightest guilt when you summoned us here without our consent?"he said without putting his sword down.

"And if you send us to our home as soon as we restore the peace,then we will work for nothing."the green hair guy said while plucking his bow.

"How willing are you to accommodate us? depending on you're answer we might ended up as an enemy instead."The guy with a spear said without a fear.

'So they already wanted some respect and rewards huh.'Naofumi thought on his mind while looking at the people beside him.

"F-first we'd like you to have an audience with our king of this country,King Melromarc."the middle age man said as he walk towards them.

He stop and continue "You can negotiate your reward after that,so please...."

"Fine,i guess."the four eye glasses put his sword down.

"I suppose we could consider their offer."

"Not like our demands are gonna change,no matter who we talk to."

All of them started to walk, Naofumi follow them behind.Naofumi look at the houses through a window,he couldn't help but be amaze on the scenery outside.Because it was so refreshing and this is his first time to go in another place that is not a japan.

While they are walking, Naofumi accidentally glance on a certain building.On the window,there is a girl with red hair and have a good looks.She was looking at them,she notice that Naofumi was looking at her too.So their eyes met, Naofumi smirk seeing this.He reveal a row of white teeth,the red hair girl blush seeing this as she turn her head away.

'Tsk!acting pure ha?'Naofumi thought before his face return into normal.
