Curtis woke up with a start, what he saw was still the same ceiling he woke up to last night. It was a strange feeling, not being in control of your motor functions. He tried to get up but he couldn't, he could only ask for help.

*uwaaaaaa* *uwaaaa*

It was embarrassing for him but this was the only way he could get the maid's attention. And not being able to talk because your vocal cords were not fully developed yet was a pain.

*tap* *tap* *tap*

He heard her coming. Her light footsteps echoed from the wooden floor. The maid popped into view from the corner of the crib. He cried louder letting her pick him up. "Now I got your attention." Curtis thought.

"Aawww what is our little angel's problem?" Millie said coming closer to pick him up. She picked him up and placed him in her arms.

Curtis then promptly shut up. Taking in his surroundings, he still couldn't see well, but, looking at his maid, she was cute. She looked around 17-18 years old, quite young he thought, brown hair that reminded him of autumn leaves, a slim face but looked a bit full, not malnourished, she probably ate well, what caught his attention was her eyes. They were a bright shade of green, almost shined like an emerald, her height threw him off though, she was probably just 4 feet in height. Barely 4 feet he estimated.

Weirdly enough her features had blended together, it was as if her look had been made just for her. Millie was looking at him with adoring eyes. She loved babies. "You are so cute now that you're not crying"

Oh no.

It had just hit him, he was in another world. Of course, there was a chance that language he knew was different from what was used here.

Curtis felt troubled, he didn't understand a single word she was saying, it was like gibberish to him. And that scared the shit out of him, quite literally. It confirmed that he really was a baby; he can't control his bowel movements.

Millie holding onto him couldn't help but scrunch up her nose at the strange odor.

"Awwww did our little angel poop himself? Let's take care of that shall we?" Millie took him to a nearby bathroom to clean him. He felt embarrassed to be taken care of in this way "I'm a mature young man! Darn this butt!" why did he have to poop himself now, he just wanted to take a look at where he was.

A round of cleaning up and bathing later.

Curtis felt quite refreshed, but having someone else give him a bath and clean up for him is a little degrading. He was already trying to accept the loss of his dignity. He was touched! he was violated! he no longer felt like a man!

"I'll repay this humiliation one day!"

Curtis sighed.

"Awww now that you're cleaned up, you look even cuter," Millie beamed him with a refreshing smile. Of course, his effort to pout had looked cute. He was a baby! Anything he did was cute!

"Come on, the family is probably waking up now, let's go see your mom" she picked him up and went out the hallway.

Now Curtis couldn't really see well, he is still just a baby, but judging from what he is seeing, he's in a big house; he probably had a well to do family, everything looked old though, paintings, suits of armor, vases.

"Only old fashioned people have this stuff." Curtis thought. "Or Collectors," he added.

He tried to remember his old life. Living in a Bachelor suite, he had quite a luxurious life, his parents were busy all the time, more concerned about their company and running it, rather than care for their children. He lived with them until he was 14, sure they were nice but he couldn't really feel the warmth of his family, then they kind of decided that they should send him to a private boarding school.

It was hell for him. He was an introvert, and he was bullied for it.

He only had 2 weeks offs where he could go home. The first time he went home he got scolded because they called the school and learned he got an average mark, saying that they expected better of off him, they promptly spent the rest of his off ignoring him and only telling him to study more. He couldn't even get a word in about the bullying.

Later on he never even bothered to go home. He spent the rest of his years studying, staying in the boarding school, he became a loner, just studying in his time offs.

On the day of his graduation, his parents just sent him a congratulatory card and a car. The messenger they sent didn't even bother to see his reaction, just walked off to catch a cab and return.

He was speechless; they didn't even bother to see his graduation. Later on in his life he just relied on himself, sure they funded his studies in college, he continued his study, pursuing a degree in engineering.

On his graduation the same thing happened, they didn't even bother. They sent someone to meet with him and offer him a job at the company they ran. Curtis didn't even think twice, he rejected it and promptly left. He vowed to stand on the same level as them someday.

His thoughts were interrupted when he got lifted up again.

A Lady with blonde hair was admiring him while raising him up high. He didn't mind as the woman was quite beautiful, the eyes she had were mesmerizing, and with the smile on her face and the look of happiness he couldn't really put a word on it, but it felt good to be looked at.

"My angel," Martha said lowering him into a gentle hug.

He didn't need to understand what she said. He already knew.

Such gentleness was something he only saw from the few times some of his friends were picked up by their families.

That was all it took.

Curtis's thoughts froze. There was no way that he couldn't know what it was. It was something he had longed for from his previous parents, only to be disappointed again and again. It was something that he hoped to have felt from the girl he went out with for the first time, only to be again, disappointed.

And as he looked deep into her blue eyes, he found it. The warmth her gaze carried, the volumes of how much she cared.

It was right there, the feeling he had been longing for.

Love.
