That's right, after Long Qing declared that he was a venerated guest, he gathered the entire clan to do a proper ceremony for Lin Wu. This was after all, a major matter and they needed to let all clan members do it.

Lin Wu was now someone on the same level as their Clan spirit, someone with whom they owed their bloodlines too. Thus they needed to treat him with the same respect and gratitude.

The gratitude part was even deeper, as they all heard from Long Qing that Lin Wu had been fighting the Shadow Calamity for longer than their clan had existed. Some even realized that their clan might not exist if the Shadow Calamity had not been suppressed regularly.
