1 Humans cannot be trusted

The story of the greatest slaughterer that all of the worlds have ever seen, begins with not a particulary interesting fellow In the modern day Chicago. And by not particuraly interesting i mean there was nothing about him that anybody could find interesting, well that is only on the first sight of course.

His name was Jack Myers, he had long black hair which were at first sight obviously uncombed, pretty normal build as his height was pretty standard 185 centimeters and his weight too was in the norm with 84 kilos.

Except for his looks he mostly stayed away from people, for the last few years at least that is, as everyone who he had trusted before betrayed him sooner or later. Starting with his parents, which he never met, his former friends who bullied him in the orphanage (until he beat them up), caretakers who didn't help in any way, his first boss who everytime something went wrong blamed it on him, and ending with the thugs, whose gang he joined after he was kicked out of his job.

His whole 21 years life he was never happy, until now. John was holding a bloodied butterflie knife, with which he just stabbed one of the thugs which just a few months ago, betrayed him and left him behind as a bait for the police, after they just robbed someone in a back alley.

Jack of course succesfully escaped his cell and went after the thugs with a butterflie knife which he stole by pickpocketing along with some wallets and other personal belongings. He was lucky, his victim was alone, smoking in a back alley, which looked awfully like the one where they left Jack behind. It was pretty easy to just pretend to be passing by and stab him in the gut when he was trying to light up his cigarette in the rain.

What the thug saw in his last moments was even more terrifying than the fact he was about to die. In front of him was Jack with such twisted face it was almost impossible to recognize his facial impression. But if you looked closely you could tell he was... smiling.

But it wasn't a normal smile of hapines. All of his teeth could be seen, you could see how his muscles were tightened and the veins on his face pulsating as if every muscle in his body was clenched as strongly as they could, it was almost a miracle that his cheeks didnt split.

His pupils we so small like he just saw the dearest thing to him and his lids we so raised you could see the back of his eyes, all while he was making silent and high pitched laughing sound.

Jack stood there, he was not sure for how long, he was consumed by the ecstasy, he couldn't move, he coudn't think. By the time police arrived he wasn't grinning anymore, he was just standing there, with no facial expression whatsoever, still holding the knife and looking at it as if it was the most interesting thing he has ever seen.

He finally snapped out of it when one of the officers yelled: "Drop the knife, put your hands behind your head and drop on your knees!". Jack slowly looked at them while his disgusting grin was forming again and laughed, but this time loudly, so loudly that it seemed like he destroyed his vocal cords. Even the officers were shaken by that grin of his, but they didn't shoot yet, they couldn't, he technically wasn't violently resisting even thou he was armed.

Jack stopped laughing while still maintaining his crazy smile and a minute of silence occured. Then the officers finally regained control of their feet and begain approaching to apprehend Jack. After the officers walked 1-2 meters towards Jack, he suddenly ran right at them, but he couldn't make it in time, he was shot 3 times before he could even run half of the distance between him and the policemen. First shot hit him in the arm, the second one grazed him on the chest and the third one finally ended it when it hit him right between his eyes.

Suddenly there was nothing in front of Jack. It wasn't darknes, it wasn't air there, it wasn't even vacuum, it was just... nothingness.

Jack thought to himself: "And here i thought it would be finally over, but that was a bit too optimistic huh?"
