" Indeed it is, Naruto-san." Hiashi said with an emotionless face. They then stared at each other both keeping their poker face activated. Kuromaru felt so creeped out at the two humans, who just stared at each other.

" I think we should take our leave, Hiashi-sama." Naruto finally said. " Won't you have breakfast before you depart?" Hiashi said.

" I must decline." Naruto said, as he then walked towards the compound gate. Once outside, Naruto still kept his pokerface, and Kuromaru knew something was wrong. " First brother? anything wrong? " Kuromaru asked. " I don't like that man second brother." Naruto said. " He is a disgrace as a father . "

That morning Hinata woke up with a smile, she opened Naruto's room to see that it was empty.

" If you are searching for Naruto, he had already left this morning." Came a voice behind, which caused by to squeak in fright. Behind her stood her father looking down at her from his towering height. She felt disappointed that she could not see him off, but she had other matters to deal with for now.

" Your training starts exactly at nine, so quickly have your breakfast and then head to the dojo." He said with no hint of emotions.

" H-Hai!" She replied. " Good." he said, as he walked away. " Try not to disappoint me today."

' Naruto-kun, I will never give up! even when problems comes I will face them head on ' Hinata said in her thoughts.

At the bottom of the pit, Naruto was ready to begin his day. He picked up his shovel and dug a tunnel after a few feet ahead, the tunnel had become dark, so after few minutes of intense thinking, he came with an idea. He took the illuminating scroll, the forehead protector a few ropes, he created an illuminating mining forehead protector kinda thingy.

He tightened the makeshift mining hat, and continued his work. He then widened the tunnel making it into a room. He then chiseled shelves like structures to store stuff but when the room was finished, he face a problem which was to illuminate the room, which was again easily solved, by sticking one illuminating scroll to the the ceiling with kunais. Pouring chakra to the scroll, a bright light illuminated his underground room, there he praised his efforts. It was simply a 10x10 square feet room with a shelf. Not as grand as the Hyuga compound but it was his and Kuromaru's home.

Now Naruto was sharpening the huge sword which he kinda inherited from a corpse. It was really huge sword, it reached six feet and six inches from to to handle. He was wondered how did he even lift this humongous sword back then.

" He First brother! check this out!" Kuromaru called Naruto's attention.

" Yes Second brother, wha-" Naruto gasped in surprise at the sight that was shown to him.

Kuromaru was enshrouded by a thick dark bluish fog like substance and it was not Chakra.

" You know what this is? " Kuromaru asked, " Remember, even you had this stuff when you killed that Kumo ambassador."

" Wait! So how did you do it? Naruto asked

" Actually, remember when Hinami-san told us how to feel our chakra. " Kuromaru said. " Yes I remember." Naruto replied.

" I tried to feel my chakra, but I found something other my Chakra." Kuromaru explained.

" So you just concentrate on feeling your chakra and that's it right?" Naruto asked.

" I guess that's it." Kuromaru just shrugged it off. Even he does not understand how he does it.

" Let's test it then." Naruto said as he sat in a meditation posture. Closing his eyes he began to concentrate on finding that bloody red fog like stuff. And when he was able to locate it, he began to mould it. But suddenly he opened his eyes, only to find himself in a damp sewer like location.

" Not this place again! " Naruto sighed in frustration. " Welcome back, you scum." Called a deep voice. Naruto turned to the voice to see the same gigantic gate and the same gigantic fox.

" Yo." Naruto said in an lazy tone. " Can you tell me why I'm here again?" The Kyubi sigh in defeat. " You are not afraid of me aren't you?" Naruto Nodded. " I didn't call you here. That thing did." Kyubi said pointing his claws at the shadow like humanoid creature.

" Ok you asshole tell me what is this place? and why did you call me here?" Naruto asked with not even a bit of respect. Who would even respect a person who kidnapped you in an unknown place.

" My apologies, but you are in your mindscape." The creature said. " So in another words I'm inside my own mind." Naruto concluded.

" Yes. You are right." The creature said. " I called you here because I want to tell you about the blooddy red fog like thingy you are trying to meddle with."

" So tell me, what is it?" Naruto asked. " Actually, even I don't know what is it." The creature scratched the back of his neck and laugh.

" So you are completely useless then. " Naruto said. " But I do know what it does." said the creature. This sparked Naruto's interest. " Go on." Naruto said as he sat cross-legged on the damp floor. The creature said ony onewords, " Protection."

"Protection as in what kind?" Naruto asked.

" The word protection can be used defined in many ways Naruto-kun." Said the creature. " It's up to you to find it out."

The creature's suddenly body began to smoke, It then gave Naruto it's Nightmarish smile, " Looks like my time is up."

" Wait up! your leaving!?" Naruto tried to stop the creature. " You can atleast tell me your name"

" I don't have one... But we will meet again Naruto-kun... or should I say, ' The Smiling Demon '. "

With that the creature just disappeared, leaving Naruto alone with the caged fox. With nothing to do, he decided to strike a conversation with the caged fox. " So do you have a name or should I name you one."

" I do have one, but you have no right to know it." Kyubi spoke with a hint of anger. " Why is that so?" Naruto asked with innocence.

" Why you asked. " Kyubi said in amusement park then burst out laughing. But then suddenly he roared in anger. " IT'S BECAUSE OF YOU INSOLENT HUMANS, BEASTS LIKE ME AND MY SIBLINGS ARE CAGED!!! FORCING US TO DO YOUR BIDDINGS!!! TREATING US LIKE SLAVES!!! I WAS CAGED FOR ALMOST A CENTURY!!! AND WHEN I FINALLY TASTED FREEDOM YOUR FOURTH HOKAGE CURSED ME BY SEALING ME IN YOU!!! "

" I know can understand how you feel right now." Naruto said feeling sad for the caged beast. But the fox scoffed at him, " The last thing I need is pity from a human."

" Who said I was human?" Naruto said in a serious tone. " I was never treated like one. And I doubt things will change."

" That vixen of yours, she never treated like you as though you were a demon." Kyubi said.

" She is no vixen, She is an angel, MY ANGEL." Naruto said stressing the last part." And if anyone dares to harm her... I'll kill them!!!"

The Kyubi chuckled, " It seems like we share the same mindset. But unlike you I protect only myself any I'll kill anyone who tries to harm me."

" Naruto." Naruto said offering his hand. Kyubi stared at the hand, various dark memories filled his mind, they screamed not to trust this young boy, but something else told him that he should trust him. So finally, he reached out to Naruto's hand, his nail making contact with the small hand. " It Kurama." and they shook their hands or claws.

Naruto grinned at him, " Let's be great friends." Kurama chuckled, " Yeah Yeah... You blonde troublemaker."

After a good few laughs, Naruto asked Kurama a question, " So how do I get out of this place?"

"Simple. Just think about getting out of this place." Kurama replied. Naruto did so and he disappeared from the sewers which was his mindscape.

Kurama lied down on the damp floor, trying to get some sleep, " Father... I have found him."

When Naruto opened his eyes, he found Kuromaru sleeping soundly on the floor. It was still dark outside. But on looking at a watch, his eyes widened in shock. " I WAS OUT FOR FIVE HOURS!!!???"

At the Raikage's tower, the third Raikage was fuming with anger. Infront of him stood his son, A and the current Jinchuriki, Bee. He slamed his fist at the table shattering it into dust. " THAT FOOL!!! He managed to get himself caught!!!"

" I told you already old man that plan was never going to work." His son said.

" That's right you old man, forget about the plan. Yeah!" Bee rapped. "Shut up Bee!" Both the Raikage and his son scolded the Jinchuriki.

The third Raikage gave a scroll to his son " Read this." A open the scroll and begin to read the scroll. With each word he read, his face became more and more serious.

" You can't be serious right? A said. one look at his face and he knew this man was serious.

" Begin Project White Eye: Phase 2." The Raikage ordered.

This plan was madness, one wrong move and a war was sure to happen. A gritted his teeth, he wanted to stop his father's madness, but he could not. " Hai! Raikage-sama." With that Project White Eye: Phase 2 was initiated.
