Endless Blood World

Jihan walked in endless blood fog. It had been nearly 3 days since appeared in the place. After that, he lost count of time since he walked endlessly. Everything was covered in blood, the ground, the sky. He even thought he probably inhaled half a person blood already so thick the blood fog was. The first day it was unbearable be couldn't breathe properly. He would throw up every few minutes at the constant taste and smell of blood in his mouth and nose.

When he threw up, blood would pour out on mouthfuls... He could not take it anymore as he collapsed breathing heavily but he knew if he gave up he could possibly be trapped here forever but when stood up and continued walking on the third day he lost his sense of direction, and that was when he panicked and he completely forgot how long he had been walking but stubbornness and determination blossomed further and he just kept walking...

A voice would occasionally whisper in the deafening silence. " Jihan...Survive..". The whisper continued endlessly. Only those two words. It was the only two words he knew and understood. The one was his name and the other was the command. The voice sounded feminine, even a bit gentle with a hint of sorrow, despair, horror, and worry.

He senses were completely out of his control as he walked through the blood world, eventually, after a couple more days that felt like weeks, he started seeing brighter fog up ahead. It looked as if a bright light was being shown through the fog but this light reflected red. For the forest time.. He had a hint of anticipation he saw hope as he walked towards the light. But before he could reach the light a slight chill ran down his spine as he heard muffled patting on the damp bloodied soil.. it was not his steps .. he turned around, the originally calm and excited expression faded away within an instant and replaced with shock, horror, and sorrow. it was the two-headed wolf... but this time it was at least 10 times its previous size, Jihan tried moving, he realized every muscles, bone and even his heart seemed to stop... He was so scared right now... If he could piss himself now, he would've done it 100 times over.

He realized the wolf actually bowed to him and just stared at his palm... And seemed to speak to him but he could t understand a single word... He didn't know what was going on.

"It's way too early for you to be here, u should not have come to this realm. Your strength... It's too weak... Survive"

The words spoken, none of them reached Jihan, but as soon as the last one was spoken... an electric shock went straight up his spine towards his chest, he felt a stinging pain at his chest region, it went from a sting to gradually a tearing of his skin he looked down to see a huge gash on his chest bleeding profusely without end.

He tried holding his hands against his chest to stop the bleeding but it continuously gushed out, he stared at his chest searching for the wound but the wound was gone. He could feel his body draining of blood, getting colder. The sensation from his feet and hands . It's felt as if he had sat on them for too long as no circulation could be felt at all. He couldn't feel anything m he just felt cold... So cold... He fell Down onto the blood-soaked earth. Shivering, slowly his vision was truing dark and he felt light headed... The last thing he could hear was something he heard before passing out but never understand "Jihan, survive... ". The sorrowful, gentle voice faded away in the pitch black darkness.

It has been nearly 6 days since Jihan had fallen into a coma, both the village chief and Doctor Ju would always make sure his condition was stable. The finally heaved sighs of relief when Doctor Ju finally saw he was out of the coma-like state and was were only resting" he should wake up within a day or two, using a bit of spirit energy I noticed he was in some type of deep dream-like state" Doctor Ju said stroked his beard slowly.

"It should be ok for the lass Nuan'er to see him now, " Doctor Ju said leaving him the village chief alone with the boy in the room.

Not long after the boy left, Su Naun came inside timidly, hiding halfway behind the door frame peaking inside " Daddy ... how is he" a sweet voice came from outside the room close to a whisper, " its fine, Nuan'er. you can come in, he is fast asleep and doing just fine" He dad said gesturing for her to come sit by the chair close to the bed.

"but... but ... who is he??" she said staring at Jihan's face, it was actually almost the first time she could clearly get a good look at this boy's face. His hair was not that long anymore and was trimmed shoulder length, he had a pale face but had a hint of rosy color to hit hinting his recovery was successful and had sharp eyebrows. Instantly Su Nuan was dazed.. she even forgot she had asked her dad a question. She actually thought his face was very pleasing to the eyes although he was extremely fragile and tiny compared to everyone else strong figures.

Su Chen looked at his daughter and sighed ' why should this family have this type of trait on the women', he knew in the future. His daughter will either unconditionally love this lad or make sure that she skins him alive if he ever pisses her off. It was not uncommon in the village for a woman to suddenly go on a rampage and maybe kill a person or two from another village if the bullied their sons and daughters. or even if another woman looked at her man in the wrong way.

" We do not know who he is, or if he had a family. What he will do is help him out and since he saved your life we will try our best to provide whatever we can. like we explained to Doctor Ju. He can stay in the house on the outskirts since the women in the village would not accept an outside so easily. " Su Chen said, turning to look at the sleeping lad on the bed, he had looked at his daughter and realized she never heard a single word he said but kept on staring at the boy as if she would want to engrave the boys face into her mind forever.

A shiver ran down his spine just remembering his wife in her youth and how overbearing she was...

"Hey, did u hear the Village Chief finally appeared three days ago and said that the forest incident was probably due to a surrounding villager get killed by a wolf and the young boy heroically saved the villages chiefs Su Nuan! and he said the boy is now stable from being critical injured"

"What?! they said he is recovering? I heard the wolf tore out his rib cage and ate his heart!"

" What shit you spotting ! how can a frail looking boy like that ever survive and fight a pack of the wold and be stronger than my boy!?" shouted a lady, she looked as if she wanted to tear the guy that spoke apart with her bare hands although the guy was close to double her size in height.

"I am so sorry madam Si, I meant.. how can this Boy be compared to Madam's Si boy!? outrages!"

"Don't be a madman, ow can someone survive a wolf beast attack single-handedly and he is still a babe smelling of his mother's milk. He looks like my 5-year-old girl could pummel him to death!"

The rumors kept on spreading, becoming more exaggerated by the day. When Doctor Ju checked on the boy the following days and the regular visits they noticed something very unnatural. The wound on the boy's chest had already completely healed within the first few hours. They had to remove the stitching and the scabs had already fallen off leaving scars stretching across his entire chest.

Inside Doctors Ju's room, 2 days later.

" This.... isn't this way to overexaggerated?? " exclaimed the village chief

"I know the Blood Rite Ritual was supposed to make his constitution abnormal but isn't this too abnormal? it would take at least a month for U to heal like that and another month for your wounds to completely heal and turn to scars, Su Chen I don't even know how this is even possible. for myself, it would take half that time but heal completely within 8 days..." Doctor Ju inhaled deeply. They looked at each other's pale faces and wondered if what they have done was such a good idea...
