1 Beginning of a new life

" Hey Lyon sleeping again in class," the lecturer said as everyone bust out laughing. Lyon was the typical guy who almost everybody hated apart from a few . Even his family despised him. " If you want to sleep then get out I don't want people like you, " The lecturer said.

Lyon stood up and headed for the door as everyone laughed. Even his twin sister bust out laughing. She was considered beautiful and one of the most beautiful people in the institute, however she never cared about her brother. She even went to the extent of lying they were not related. Due to this Lyon despised her and the whole family. The only person who cared for him was her mother but she was gone.

Since he was kicked out he decided to go to the dorm. He immediately started going through his laptop after he arrived . ' Why is everything so cruel . I wish mom was here.' Lyon thought as tears got out. ' stupid watery eyes' he thought.

" Mommy when I grow up I wanna be just like you " young Lyon said. " And why is that ?" Lyon's mom asked. " Your brave and strong. You always help anyone in need your like a hero, " She smiled. " Is that so? Then I know we have a future hero in our family," she said .

As he was trying to stop remembering, he started having a sharp headache . Unable to contain anymore , he fainted. He soon woke up from his sleep. He checked his watch to see . " so I have only fainted for a few minutes . strange. " As he was waking up , he saw an icon to the far right eye . He thought about it only to see his status?

I just sat and started playing video games when I received an invitation to a chat group. I quickly agreed because I had nothing better to do . Everyone in the chat was speaking Mandarin and since I was about to get out when I saw something.

Suddenly the door bust open and John entered. " Lyon how are you," he asked. As he looked in my computer . " You know Mandarin? " I chuckled as I admitted .

Lyon : Bye I have classes to attend to.

I looked back and asked " How was class ?" . He took a book and passed it to me . " Those are the notes. So I had rumors that Anna is your sister. " He said . John was one of my true friends he was tall and a bit sturdy. He always took care of me as if I was his brother.

" Y...yes" I admitted. He looked at me both surprised and pity. " Then why does she treat you like that." I sighed.

" Well everyone in my family treats me like that am like an outcast. " Why?" he asked. I sighed. " They say am a disappointment to them and I think me looking like my mother has some something to do with it." He smiled "I see where you get your good looks". " You sound gay. No offense." He looked at me. " Am actually honest and not am not gay. I just want to show that you matter. Just looking out for a brother. So what did your mother do to be hated that much?" He asked. I looked at him . I trusted him. He was a brother in my eyes. " Well one day there was someone who my father respected that tried to rape her one day. A few days later he was reported missing and soon they discovered his body on the forest. No one knew what happened to him apart from me . Soon Father started accusing my mother. Well true she committed the crime but only in self defense. " He looked at me with shock. " So how did you know it was her . " he asked. " I saw what was happening that night. I also helped her carry the body" I answered not hiding a single detail. " So is you mom in jail," Tears started forming. " She was murdered right in front of my eyes. You have no idea. The murderer tied me on a chair . He then forced me to watch as he beat my mother. When my mother couldn't take it anymore, he sliced all the fingers. He finished by stabbing her at the chest. The rest of it I fainted. Next morning I woke up. I saw they were both dead. And that bastard who I so call father didn't even give her a proper burial let alone cry ." I said fighting back tears . John confronted me.

" I Know it's hard but know am here for you brother" he did his best until I stopped crying. " Well let's go eat " I said rubbing my tears as if nothing happened.

( Dining hall)

As we were lining a big huge dude came to were I was standing. " Thanks for holding the line for me . " I just got out but before I could go John grabbed me and told me to stay in his line. " Why are you helping him he is such loser I bet his mommy was one to. "

" What did you say?!" I asked . " I beat your mommy is a loser " That was it I had enough of his shenanigans. I punched him in the face . " You punch like one to" he said . That was it I was tired of being nice. " You take that back or else you will be in the hospital " I said . He punched me and I fell. " Hahaha is that all you got ?" I smirked. I felt my canines grow to fangs . " Your dead " . I charged at him . He punched me but I caught his hand . I started hitting him in all his acupuncture points until all he could not use his arms anymore. " How does it feel to be powerless against a loser like me . Answer me I would love to know. You know the one mistake you did. " I took his hand and twisted it until it dislocated. I took his neck and strangled him by the back. " You insulted someone dear to me." I whispered. I let go on the last second and he fell down inhaling in large amounts.

I took my tray and got served. I sat at the bench and John soon came . " Don't you think you went too far?" he asked . I shook my head. I regretted nothing. " You know his parents are very rich they could influence the principal to expell you." He continued. " They can't" I answered. " And why is that because I know the principal too well. She doesn't take bribes. " I answered. " Wait I thought the principal was a man," he said . " That's the vice principal dumbass" I answered. " Ok see you at class then " He said after finishing his dinner.

( At class)

" Lyon the vice principal is asking for you" Mary the president of the class said . I walked out as everybody smiled. They most likely thought I would be expelled. As we were walking the president broke the silence. " Am looking forward to your expulsion" she said . I just let her be. Hatred was almost in everybody's eyes.

( Vice principal office)

" Lyon your behavior was quite unacceptable am afraid I'll have to expell you. " He said as Mary sat behind smiling. " I know that boy is a bully and you have never done nothing to stop him but when I do your work for you I'm expelled you're a hypocrite... Fine do as you wish I don't care any....." Suddenly the door flung.

" Principal what are you doing here " He asked. " Lyon will continue learning this institute do you understand me !" she said. "y.y...yes" the vice principal said. " You two what are you doing here you should be in class " she said . I thanked her before we left.

( At class)

" Oh look at him he has come to take his belongings then he can go" they whispered. Even my sister chatted with them jovially. I just sat next to John not showing any signs of leaving. " Lyon why are you here aren't you expelled get out and leave us be " he said. " Am not expelled" I said . "impossible have you become a liar" Anna of all people said. I just ignored her. " If you want to bully someone bully me not Lyon " John finally said. Everyone stopped chatting. " Or what are you gonna do big guy Sue us ?" Anna asked.

"THAT'S ENOUGH IF YOU TRY TO BULLY LYON YOU HAVE TO GO THROUGH ME. " Kara protested. She was one of the most beautiful girls in our college let alone our class. Many boys asked for dates only to be rejected. She always said she needed to study. Even Lyon admired her(NB not liked) . Everyone stopped and sat down not saying a word against me especially the boys. After the lessons were over everybody went the own ways. " Hey Lyon wanna join me. Am going to a restaurant. " John asked . I agreed .
