1 (01) The Introduction

I guess this is a good of a time as any to tell the people my story, My name is "Antony Oliver" but everyone calls me Tony. Before this insanity I was just your average introverted anime loving nerd with very few friends but I guess some friends only show themselves in the most dire of times.

The current year is 2047 and I am 24 years old, but all the information I will be telling you is from 8 years ago when I was only 16. As a normal kid I attended school, got average grades and had a couple friends ("Jack Grim" 100% my best friend in the world; me and him have known each other since the age of 7 and we were inseparable, He was a small pale boy with a dark brown crew cut and brown eyes. The only thing we ever fought about was my other close friend "Elizabeth (Ella) Kane". She was incredibly petite with long black hair and green eyes; both me and Jack have had a crush on Ella since we met her at the start of high school).

I have a simple family life; my parents separated before I can remember so as long as I can remember it has just been my mom raising me and my older sister. My mother was quite short yet chubby with brown shoulder-length curled hair and green eyes. My sister was average height but very skinny with very short silver hair and brown eyes; she is only 3 years older then me but liked to act like she was 10 years older and so much better than I was. As for me I said in the start of this story I am only 16; average height with short dirty blond hair that has a silver streak at the front. I have heterochromia iridium, meaning my eyes are two different colors; my left eye is green while my right eye is blue.

Me and my friends are all big fans of anime and different video games. In many different MMO's my simple party of 3 has become the highest level team in the game and were considered some of the most elite gamers in the world. With our love of MMO's it didn't take us long to hear about the revolutionary VRMMO that was soon to be released into beta so we were swift to sign up and take part in the beta. The game that was being released was called "Rise Of Dragons" created by the "Silver Dragon Corporation" as the first game for their new fully immersive nerve connected virtual reality system; they had spent 15 years to make it cost effective and functional. With all the time and money that was put into this system it is expected to be the top creation in the entertainment industry for years to come. All I had to do now is wait and see if I got in.
