Chapter-2 Ryan Dèvel

12 years later

At the shore of a tranquil lake, a young man was lying under a tree with a stalk of grass in his mouth. This youth gazing at the sky gave the image of an experienced scholar deducing the heavens. The reminiscing look on his face did not match his age.

There was something about him which would draw one to take a closer look at him. He had sapphire blue eyes, which would mesmerise anyone who looked into them. His face, straight-edged nose and sharp cheekbones could easily intimidate anyone. He had radiant black hair, which were sprawling on his shoulders. Overall, one could describe him as a stunning and handsome boy. This person was precisely Ryan.

Ryan was thinking about his life in this new world. This world is called the Last Advent, which had 3 continents: Rumi Grande, Sovereign's Fall and Eastern Draw. Ryan was currently living in the Radiance Kingdom's royal city Brighton. Radiance Kingdom is one of the 9 kingdoms under Yavuz Empire on Rumi Grande continent. His Dèvel family is one of the 5 noble families under the royal family in the kingdom.

Ryan loves his family in this new life. His father, Lucifer Dèvel, is the family head and the most powerful person in the family. His father is very loving towards him and his siblings. They were never denied any resources while growing up in the family. However, this was only towards his children, as people in the kingdom addressed him as the Darkness Devil. When the family head was young and participated in an empire-wide competition, he always used one vertical slash to kill his opponents. They would always die by getting split into two from head to crotch by his dark slash. The crowd would shudder every time they saw this. The crueler thing was that the corpse would never hit the ground. His dark energy would devour both halves before they reached the ground.

His stepmother, Serena Grace, who took care of him while he was growing up, is the person he admires the most. This is because she had to take care of children who were not even her and did it without any malice in her heart. Also because Ryan enjoyed sucking her D-cup-sized boobs when she used to breastfeed him. Serena is also the sister of the current king of Radiance Kingdom, used as a tool for alliance by the royal family.

Aaliyah, the eldest sister, is 17 years old and also has cultivation talent. She is currently enrolled in the Empyrean Institute in the imperial city, which is the empire's top institute. Then comes Rivia, who is 3 years older than Ryan. Zahia is his twin sister and also the person who knew Ryan the most and followed him everywhere. Tyra and Salem are his stepmother and stepbrother, born from Serena. Except Aaliyah, Ryan got along well with all his siblings. Especially his sisters, he would still yearn for those baths he used to take with his sister Rivia and Zahia. Although he had the body of a child, his mind was still that of lecherous man.

"That blind old bastard always surrounded by maids dare flout such nonsense rules to us. He is already making me train with a blindfold just to beat my ass with a cane. And now he won't even let me indulge in harmless pleasure. If he wasn't my grandfather and so strong, I would have beaten him black and blue," Ryan muttered to himself. "Once I awaken a super strong spirit tomorrow, I will definitely break into all of his maids. Hmph Let's see how he stops me then. Ah Yes, I also have to take care of that twin sister of mine, who is always cutely giggling while that guy tortures me. Hehe I would make her totally obedient to me then."

This world had a cultivation system where everyone started cultivating once their spirits awakened. The stronger the spirit one had, the further they would be able to reach on the path of cultivation. The path of cultivation in this world represented borrowing energy from the heavens and returning it when one dies. Living under the heavens will and, in death, returning to its beck.

The reason Dèvel family was one of the noble family is because they inherited the Hell bloodline. Although a bloodline doesn't guarantee a strong spirit, it does increase the chances of one. This kind of inheritance gets created when an ancestor in such family had reached a powerful realm in their life, which allows them to pass it down. Ryan always tried to inquire about his family's ancestor and its origin from his father, but he never got a word out of him. He just said that the family records from 500 years ago were destroyed in a calamity. So nobody was sure of it. However, Ryan deduced one thing from it: that his family was older than even the kingdom itself. Radiance Kingdom was only established 200 years ago. How Ryan know this? This is because his grandfather made him read out all the books for him in the library since he was blind.

"Fuck! its already time for my training. Aii that old bastard is definitely going to starve me today. He always pampers my sisters and even brings them rare grade medicines to improve their physique but I haven't even smelled them. I bet he is just an old pervert trying to make moves on them." Ryan sighs and continues, "Nevermind, at least I would be able to complain about him to stepmother while snuggling her. Maybe I could even motorboat those heavy peaks while she is hugging me." Ryan started drooling thinking of them.

"BOOM"

Suddenly, Ryan heard an explosion from deep under the lake, and the water started bubbling all of a sudden. He didn't see anything falling into the lake so whatever happened must have occurred on the lakebed. Now he started thinking that usually in fantasy novels, this is when the character gets an awesome treasure or powers up. So he suppressed the feeling of fear which initially came and dove into the lake. The lake wasn't really that deep so he quickly reached the bottom. He looked around and found an area where glaring rays were coming from. As soon as he got close to it, he was shocked. The whole area was in a vacuum state where there was no water; it was like an invisible curtain which forbade everything. There was nothing, NOTHING but empty void.

Ryan entered that space and felt that it was devoid of profound energy. The only thing there was was a golden scroll floating with some words on top of it:
