8 CHAPTER 7
It's been almost a week now since Gideon had arrived in the forest and he had managed to get 2 more levels and leveled up all of his skills and got a new skill.
"System show me my stats." Gideon who had an indifferent expression ordered as he stood near the corpse of a wolf the size of a car.

Gideon saw his stats and nodded, all the time that he had been here, his demeanor had changed. He had become colder towards his opponents, more calculative, and there was this aura that surrounded him that made him seem powerful.
He returned to his cave which now had a fur coat to serve as a bed, a campfire that he had to leave the cave each time due to smoke, and a very tough wooden log that was upright which he used as a training dummy.
Gideon sat down and ate and rested for a little bit before leaving the cave again. He went into another part of the forest which he hadn't been to before and started walking into that direction.
He walked through while paying attention to his surroundings. As he got deeper and deeper, he immediately noticed the lack of life and the dead, grey trees around him.
He immediately became more cautious and held both of his dagger close to his chest waiting for any potential attack.
Suddenly, a projectile flew from a dead tree towards Gideon. He noticed it almost immediately and ducked out of the way. The projectile then hit a tree behind him. it looked like it was mode of bones.
Then, three more of the projectiles shot at him again. His hand then became a blur and swiftly deflected the projectiles. Gideon then rushed towards what was shooting at him, his hand deflecting more of the bone projectiles.
Finally, he reached his target and slashed both of his daggers at it at the same time and the sound of them hitting something was heard and a silhouette was seen flying back from the force of the attack and Gideon had a clear view of his attacker.
It looked like a very large skeletal porcupine that was at least 2 meters tall. On it's back was dozens of sharp spikes, the same ones that were shot at Gideon.
Gideon gave it no chance to recover as he immediately dashed towards it as it tumbled on the ground crossing 7 meters in a breath. He then performed an x slash with his daggers releasing two poison slashes at point blank range, destroying the monster almost immediately.

"Well that was a bit annoying." Gideon said as he gave the pile of bones one last glance before continuing on his way.
He continued to walk even deeper into the undead forest, and as he walked, the smell of rot and decay became more and more prevalent.
Then, he suddenly found a large clearing in the forest. In the middle, there was a large hole that that was 50 meters in diameter with a spiral staircase that lead down and death energy could be seen coming out of it.
When Gideon saw it, his pupils constricted as this was something he had seen in books and teaching that he had received, it was a dungeon.
When the world was beginning to change, dungeons had appeared in different places on the planet and they were greatly sought after as if a person managed to complete a dungeon, they would receive incredible rewards.
However, dungeons were also quite difficult to complete as there would be numerous floors, each getting harder as one descended. They were classified as F, E, D, C, B, A, and S, with F being the easiest and S being the most difficult.
'I expected to find a lot of things in this entire forest but a dungeon was the last thing on my mind.' Gideon thought with surprise but quickly calmed down as there were a couple hundred monsters around the dungeon. There were Zombies and skeleton archers due to the abundance of death energy in the area.
They weren't particularly strong, but they had a special trait that allowed them to have unlimited stamina.
'There quite a lot of them, but at the same time, I can get a lot of exp from this.' Gideon thought as he suddenly revealed a savage smile as he walked out from his position and was almost immediately spotted by the undead monsters as the began to rush towards him and the skeleton archers fired arrows as well.
Gideon immediately dashed in as he casted poison enhancement on his weapons and poison Augmentation on his body causing him to look like a blur and he immediately reached the horde of monsters as he slashed and diced at the numerous monsters, beheading, stabbing, and scattering them as he killed left and right.
He also activated poison flames on his mithril dagger causing fire damage to the monsters around him. Dozens of notifications rang in his mind but he paid no attention to it as he entered a state of frenzied slaughter.
This went on for more than thirty minutes as Gideon unleashed his skills without any regard for his astral energy reserves.
After thirty minutes, Gideon could be seen standing on a mountain of bones and corpses with his daggers in hand, his body was covered in black blood and scratches could be seen on parts of his skin and there were arrows sticking out of his vest.
He stood there breathing heavily, his eyes barely staying open as waves of exhaustion crashed on his body.
"That was, way harder than I thought." He said I between breaths.
"System, show me my stats." He ordered and his stats window appeared in front of his face with quite a few changes.

After looking at his stats, Gideon's eyes sparkled and he quickly asked.
"System what is a title."
[A title is unlocked when host meets a certain requirement. In this case, host managed to obtain a title through slaughtering hundreds of undead creatures and will receive buffs according to the title]
When Gideon heard this, he immediately became happy but quickly calmed his excitement.
"Okay then, that means I can get titles from doing other things. Wait, would that mean I could get a title like dungeon clearer or something." Gideon thought excitedly but quickly calmed his thoughts.
"Even if that's possible, it would probably take me years to do so and I need to be very strong for that as well." He said and cleared his mind of such thoughts.
"Speaking of dungeons, I am going to go and rest before I come fore you." Gideon said facing the dungeon before hopping off the pile of corpses and went back to his cave to rest.
While he rested, he decided to add three attribute points into each of his stats, bringing them to 20 and his AP reached 750.
Then after resting completely, he stood up and went back to where the dungeon was.
When he got there, he immediately noticed that there were some undead around it, but not very many so he swiftly took care of the. and stood at the entrance of the dungeon.
He could feel the death energy coming out of it and calmed his nerves before entering the dungeon, daggers in hand.
