81 CHAPTER 79: SCARY TRUTH

"A teleportation formation huh?"Gideon and Victoria played the words I their minds and found it reasonable. After all, what else would need so much astral energy to be activated.

Out of all the different elements, space definitely consumes to most energy since it's essentially warping reality. Formations made using it are no different as the energy required to activate is nearly triple that of formations at the same level. It's also the reason why spatial mages are so sought after.

"Wait, then why were they putting these on earth? We've sorted out the timelines, but we still don't know what they were doing." Victoria said. This time, it was Gideon and Baal that looked at each other.

"Victoria, do you remember how the British empire of ancient earth would colonize different parts of the world which were much less developed than them?" Gideon asked slowly and Victoria thought for a moment before saying.

"Resources." Hearing her answer, Gideon nodded.

"Good, now after securing these resources, what did they do with the original inhabitants of these places?" Hearing this, Victoria answered once again.

"They made them excavate said resources before returning them to their motherland." Gideon nodded in satisfaction before asking again.

"No how do you think the members of this advanced civilization see us?" When Victoria heard this question, realization dawned on her.

"As, undeveloped territories, which have resources they need now that the world has evolved due to astral energy." Gideon gave a smile seeing that she had realized it.

"And they were putting these crop circles, or runes on different parts of the earth." Gideon continued.

"Which could form large scale teleportation formation!" Victoria exclaimed.

""Meaning they plan to teleport to the Earth and colonize it!"" They both said at the same time with solemn expressions.

"But why? Isn't there some sort of rule among higher civilizations to not interfere with lower civilizations or something?" Victoria said with furrowed eyebrows.

"Maybe, but once again. The British along with the other empires at the time divided the territories of the undeveloped territories like they were simply pieces of land without living beings inside of them." Gideon said while shaking his head.

This situation made him realize how small and insignificant hw was in the grand scale of the universe and all of its inhabitants.

He had originally thought that they would defeat the person from the other world and he would be done. But this incident made him know that he still had a long journey ahead of him.

"Who the hell are they! They think they can just come and take us over because they want to!" Victoria shouted angrily and Gideon merely nodded, although he felt the same way. And then he realized why.

'Strength, I need strength. Overwhelming strength to the point that no one will dare to cross me. It was the same with the British, no one could stop the colonization process simply because they were absolutely outmatched and could hardly resist.' Gideon clenched his fists tightly and opened his eyes with burning conviction.

It was this day that the most renowned being in the universe truly began his ascension to power.

Baal saw this and couldn't help but smile. He has started to truly see Gideon as his student and wanted nothing more than to watch him surpass everyone and go above and beyond.

'That's it! Trample anyone that stands in your way!' Baal had already gotten an idea of what was going on with this place and brought the siblings here to have this exact effect.

'I won't let anyone get in the way of Gideon and I. I'll smash them to bits if they try to do so! My brother is destined to be the strongest, anyone who opposes that can go to hell!' Victoria's heart was as firm as her thoughts. She truly believed that Gideon was destined to be the best.

''And the first step, is taking down that guy!'' Both of them thought at the same time with conviction and excitement.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Baal and the siblings exited the ruins after confirming that here was nothing else worthy of attention and sealed it.

"I take it that the two of you know what to do now?" Baal asked and the duo nodded.

"After we defeat that guy, we'll directly use this formation to go to the world of that so called higher civilization. We'll get stronger and stronger until we can stop them from d even thinking about colonizing Earth!" Victoria announced and Gideon nodded. Although the process would be much more complicated that that, that was the general situation.

"Good. I firmly believe that the two of you will defeat that guy and use him as a stepping stone o achieve levels of power that me along with the rest of you mentors covet. Do not disappoint me." Baal said with a solemn voice.

""Yes!""

***

"I think we should only take breaks like this once in a year now." Gideon suddenly suggested. Baal was about to say otherwise, but then he remembered the unwavering determination of the two siblings in front of him and nodded in the end. After all, they would need all the training they could get.
