13 Chapter 12
Zara and Harvey were very quiet when they were on their way to the location where they were supposed to wait when the cargo container passed with the INTERPOL. They spotted the Toyota Supra which was driven by Ezra parked near a bush and they stopped right behind him while the other two cars parked at the other side of the road. The Hunters on the other hand had joined with their men, parking on the flyover, facing the main road below.
"So what are you going to do after you graduate?," asked Harvey casually, to ease down the tension.
"Well I'm taking Mechanical with Nuclear Engineering, so I might end up like Tony Stark," replied Zara, grinning at her cousin.
"Damn.. A Phoenix version of Tony Stark," said Harvey, "That'll be cool to have in the family,".
Zara gave a small laugh and they had a normal conversation after that, careful not to slip in hints about their other plan since the Hunters are also listening in every word they said until there was a scratching sound inside their ear piece.
"They're here," Ezra's voice came inside the ear piece, "Red Five ready,".
"Millennium Falcon is ready to party," Theo's voice came next.
"Star Destroyer in position," replied Harvey.
"Razor Crest ready to rumble," Shane's voice came next.
"Can't believe I have to say this.. The Khetanna is ready to attack," came Jake's voice, making both Harvey and Zara laugh, "Oh shut up, I still can't see why you guys name our team after Jabba The Hutt's ship".
"Because he's a snake," replied Sienna slyly inside the ear piece, "A big fat snake,"
Both Harvey and Zara looked at each other knowing the meaning behind Sienna's words. Few seconds later, three police cars passed next to them, followed by a large trailer with a big cargo container attached to it. Behind them were another three police cars and a black SUV which they suspect where the INTERPOL agents are. At once, there was a sound of crashing as the Hunters men who had been waiting nearby had started to attack the four vehicles behind the trailer, giving access to Ezra, Zara, and Theo to drive directly behind the trailer.
Since the roads had been cleared and blocked by the Hunters, they were the only one on the route right now. Zara skillfully turned the Dodge so that the rear faced the back of the trailer, shifting the handbrake to reverse while still moving and kept the car closer to the trailer. She pressed the button next to the handbrake and at once, a cable flew from the rear hood and attached itself at the back of the trailer. Ezra aligned the Toyota next to the Dodge and did the same while Theo drove next to the container and kept the Mitsubishi right next to it.
"Alright, Kylo Ren.. You're up," said Zara using the code name on Harvey as she pressed another button to open the sunroof of the car.
Harvey put on his white mask and took out the glove that was designed with the chief police's fingerprint made by Karan and wore it. He carefully climbed out through the sunroof and out of the car, crouching slowly until he reached the rear of the car. He gazed at the distance and Zara kept the car closer so Harvey could jump to the trailer. Meanwhile, Miranda who had also pulled on her mask had already jumped on the trailer from Theo's car and had started working on the coupling to disconnect the trailer from the container.
There was another crashing sound as the Hunters took down two more police cars in front of the trailer.
"Two down, one to go," Jake's voice came inside the ear piece.
"Two including the trailer, mate," said Sienna.
"The trailer had thick armor," said Matt this time, "I'm guessing they're using some kind of thick bulletproof glass,".
"Or Vibranium," replied Zara as she steadied her Dodge with the trailer.
There was a moment of silence.
"That thing exists?," asked Freddie.
"Yeah, in Wakanda," replied Zara rolling her eyes and everyone laughed through the ear piece.
"Good one, love," Theseus's voice finally came, "Always the joker,".
"Wasn't talking to you, Jabba," replied Zara, making everybody laugh and Theseus frowning.
Harvey who had managed to jump onto the container is now working on the INTERPOL tracking device that was attached on top of it.
"Hope the glove works," said Theo.
"Already is," said Harvey gleefully, "Red Five, we're in.. Take it down,".
"Good job, Ren," replied Sienna as she started to work on her laptop, "Now get off from there,".
"Negative, C3-PO having trouble," said Harvey as he slowly crouched down to approach his sister, "I'm helping her,".
"The fucking coupling is damn tight," said Miranda looking frustrated.
"Guys, we have exactly ten minutes before they reach the Customs Port," said Matt.
"You're not helping, Salacious," Harvey yelled angrily as he helped his sister pull the coupling on the moving trailer.
"INTERPOL's tracking satellite is down, guys," said Sienna, "We're ghosts now,".
After a few minutes, both of them managed to pull out the thick strong coupling and throw it at the roadside and at once there was a screeching sound as the container separated itself from the trailer. There was an angry shout coming from inside the trailer and both of the siblings quickly climbed back on the container and when Miranda reached in the middle, she jumped on top of the Mitsubishi's roof and slowly went inside the car through the passenger's window. Harvey on the other hand had jumped on the Dodge and climbed down inside through the sunroof.
Theo quickly swerved his car and aligned the Mitsubishi next to Ezra's Toyota and pressed a button to let out a cable from the rear of the car to attach itself to the container. The three cars were now pulling the heavy cargo container behind them in the opposite direction, heading towards the safe house.
"Alright, Razor Crest.. You're up," said Theo, "Khetanna, we're on our way to Jakku".
"Copy that, you guys go first, we're going to do some spring cleaning in here," said Theseus as Jake gave out orders to the Hunters men to get rid of all of the evidence and execute all of the police and the INTERPOL agents so that there were no witnesses.
Steven and Shane took charge of the trailer where Steven who had put on the Black Panther mask skillfully climbed out from his moving car and let Shane take over to drive and he jumped on the driver's side of the trailer. He grinned at the bewildered driver and two other police officers before climbing on top of the trailer and slid down at the front hood.
"Since I can't get rid of you guys, it looks like I have to do the other way," said Steven, yelling at the bewildered police officers.
He pulled out a bottle from his coat which was filled with petrol and poured half of the content inside the gap between the hood. He finished the remaining by pouring it onto the front glass window and lit up a fire using a fuel soaking cloth which he threw first inside the gap and before he jumped back to his car, he gave a salute to the police officers and shot a taser on the glass window. The trailer exploded just as Steven managed to get inside the car and Shane swerved aside to turn the car and follow the container which was pulled by the three cars.
"Mandalorian out," said Shane grinning at Steven.
They drove through the morning and by the time they reached the safe house which was located in Birmingham, it was nearly half past two in the afternoon. The safe house was actually an abandoned summer camp in a secluded place where there was only a small lane that led them inside a woodland. Some of the Hunters men were already there and when they saw the Phoenix arriving, they quickly waited in front of the camp, but the Phoenixes didn't slow down. One by one they let go of the cables and let the container stop right in front of the summer camp's gate, blocking the entrance and the four cars continued driving around the camp and exited back towards the main road.
"What was that all about?," asked one of the Hunters looking at his friend.
"No idea but we should tell the boss," replied his friend.
"We have a problem though," said another Hunter, "We have to push the trailer out of the way first,".
They gathered the other men and started to try and push the trailer from the entrance but it wouldn't budge while the other contacted Theseus and Jake. Meantime, the Phoenixes were halfway working on their Plan B.
