2 Chapter 1 - Three Years Later

Theseus was scheming his files and reports in his office when someone knocked on the door.

"Come in," said Theseus and the door opened, "What's up, Jake?,".

"Dude, we have a problem," said Jake, his face contorted with fury.

"What now," sighed Theseus as he leaned on the table.

"The police raided the port and took our cargo container that was supposed to be moving to our warehouse," replied Jake gravely.

"Someone tipped them off," Theseus growled, "That motherfucker just got their death wish,".

"I'll find out who," said Jake and turned to walk towards the door.

"Tell Matt to come here and we'll find out together in this office," said Theseus.

Jake nodded and left. Few minutes later, he returned with Matt who was carrying his own laptop and quickly set it up on the coffee table in the office. They get to work at once and a few hours later, after hacking a few security cameras from the port, and tracking phone calls, they finally found the mole. Theseus quickly called one of his men and headed towards the port to get the man who betrayed them and bring him back to the Hunters mansion. It turns out it was the port master himself.

Screams and yells were heard an hour later as the Hunters men beat the port master in the dungeon underneath the mansion. Theseus came down grinning, his hands were gripping a baseball bat and he slid the end of the bat on the floor as he got closer to the man that was already bleeding on the chair.

"Please.. I have a family," the port master begged, tears streaming from his eyes.

"You should have thought about that before you decide to rat us off," laughed Theseus.

His laughter that made the entire Hunters shook a bit because they know what comes after. Even Jake took a step back from Theseus and stared at the port master.

"Help me..," said the port master as he pleaded with Jake.

"Rest in hell, mate," Jake replied, crossing his arms to his chest.

Theseus raised his bat high and looked straight at the port master, smirking, and swung the bat directly towards the port master's face. There was a loud crack and the port master was thrown from the chair of the impact of the bat. But Theseus didn't stop there. He continued bashing the port master's head until his brain was out of his head.

"See, now I got rid off your stupid brain," said Theseus as he wiped the blood from his bat with his handkerchief.

He turned to look at his men and ordered them to clean everything up before signaling Jake to follow him back to his office. Matt was still typing something on his laptop when they arrived back inside the office.

"You found something?," asked Theseus as he sat on the sofa and poured some whiskey in his glass.

"I think so," Matt replied and he turned the laptop to face Theseus.

There was a video playing on the screen and another small box was opened revealing a document. The videos were showing a few policemen trying to open the cargo container and some were writing something on the clipboard.

"I hacked down the security camera in the police station," said Matt, "They've been trying to open the container for the past few hours,".

"Dumbass.. It's locked with a fingerprint sensor," Theseus scoffed while Jake gave a small chuckle.

"There's more and you won't like it," said Matt as he pointed to the small square frame on the screen, "There's a document".

Both Theseus and Jake read the document and rage started to roam in his skin.

"They're transporting the cargo to INTERPOL?," Jake whispered.

"And it's next Monday," said Matt quietly.

"Fuck!! If the INTERPOL got it, we're toast," said Theseus as he threw his whiskey glass on the ground.

"We have to act fast," said Jake, "But how do you rob a cargo container from a police station?,".

"You can't," said Matt looking frustrated.

Theseus who start to pace in front of them. Both Matt and Jake were quiet, thinking about a plan to get the cargo back.

"We could get it back during the transporting to the airport," said Theseus suddenly.

"That could work, but we need professional people that can do that," said Jake, "We never did a road heist,".

"Well there's a gang that specialized in this," said Matt as he starts tapping his laptop.

"What do you mean?," asked Theseus, peering at the screen.

Matt pushed his laptop in the middle so both Jake and Theseus can see. It was a video showing street racing, cars engine roaring and the screeching of brakes can be heard from the speaker. But all the drivers and people there were censored to hide their identities.

"There were rumors that there was a race gang that had a part time job in the heist department," said Matt, "But nobody seems to know who they are,".

"And why's that?," asked Theseus.

"Well actually, nobody wants to blab who they were," replied Matt.

"Why?," asked Jake.

"Let's just say if this gang were caught or destroyed, the street racers community would lose their main sources," said Matt.

"They're powerful huh?," said Theseus crossing his arms on his chest.

Matt nodded and typed something in his laptop before showing it to Theseus and Jake.

"There's a race tomorrow night in London, we could try and find them," said Matt.

"How? There'll be hundreds of people watching it," said Jake, frowning.

"Well look at the sponsors at the bottom of the screen," said Matt.

"There's a lot of sponsors here," said Theseus," Six of them,".

"Yeah.. But only one was unknown," Matt smiled.

"What do you mean?," asked Jake.

"I've searched about the sponsors, each one of them have their own websites, social accounts, identities of the owners, except one sponsor," said Matt, "Everytime I tried to search it on the internet, it came back with zero results. It's like, it doesn't exist,".

"Which one?," asked Theseus.

Matt clicked on the logo of the sponsor to enlarge it. It was a bird with a pair of fiery wings, stretching it magnificently.

"A Phoenix," said Theseus quietly.

"Yeah.. I tried to cross search everything and even connected the street racing with a phoenix in the search engine but it only popped up one name," said Matt.

"Who?," asked Jake.

"A guy named Dylan Phoenix and that's all," replied Matt, "I've tried to search this Dylan guy everywhere but got nothing, no pictures, no data. It's like he exists only by his name,".

====================================================================

As Theseus got ready to go to the race the next day, his memory flew to the day he saw the Goddess that caught his eye a few years ago. Her dark brown eyes were still haunting his dreams. She must have been fifteen or sixteen at that time. Her aura was full of mysteries and her hair flowed like silk at her back. He had searched for her for months and even asked the waitress about her name but couldn't get the answer since the waitress had no idea who she was. He even went searching for every school that wore the same uniform color as her since he couldn't remember the shape of her badge, but failed.

A knock on the door made his head snapped back to reality as Jake opened the door to let him know that he and Matt will be waiting at the entrance door downstairs. Took them two hours to reach London and by the time they arrived at the race location, they were surprised. The location took place in an old abandoned airport. Rows of cars which participate in the race were already lined up for evaluation. Some drivers were betting among themselves and some were hanging around to check their cars. Girls on skimpy dresses flocking among the boys at the side of the track.

There were guards at the entrance and signs of no cameras were everywhere. As they neared the entrance, the guards did a strip search and they had to put their phones inside a safe box that were guarded by four men.

"If there's a sign saying no cameras, how do they end up on the internet?," asked Jake.

"Looked up at the sky," said Matt.

They all look up at the sky and notice lots of black specs with lights blinking.

"Drones..," said Theseus quietly.

"Sponsored by the sponsors," Matt nodded, "And a lot of privacy. Once it goes on the internet, all of our faces will be covered,".

Jake spotted an empty bench near the cars and the three of them quickly took a seat. Once they sit down, girls start to swarm up at them, trying to seduce them, wrapping their arms around their neck.

"Maybe we should ask them," Matt muttered.

"Do it, Jake," ordered Theseus as another girl caressed his cheek.

Jake had turned to one of the girls and put her on his lap, smirking making the girl laugh.

"Hey babe, one of my rides needs a good tank of nitrous, a big one," said Jake seductively, "Know where to get it? I heard Phoenix supplies some good ones,".

"Oh yeah, they supplied the best," replied the girl as she kissed his neck.

"Know who I can talk to?," asked Jake hopefully, rubbing the side of her body, "Or do I have to make an appointment with Dylan?,".

"Oh honey, Dylan rarely comes to any of the races," the girl chuckled, making Jake's face fell, "But I heard the twins are racing tonight, so I guess you can make a deal with them,".

"The twins?," asked Jake, looking at Theseus and Matt.

"Dylan's younger siblings," said the girl as she turned her head to look behind her, searching for something, "Oh there they are..,".
