74 74. Registering the clinic with Arden family

After Andy left the house, Raven followed behind him in shadows and didn't reveal her presence. After they reached the Arden family grounds, Raven hid in the shadows and started monitoring their defence system and guards movements.

"Lord patriarch has been waiting for you, follow me" said one of the guards when he saw Andy and lead him to the main gate of the mansion, where that same tall man with black hairs was waiting for him. That tall man then took out a contract which was signed by the patriarch himself and asked Andy to touch it.

"This is a temporary one time use key, after using this you can enter Arden family mansion"

Andy then touched the contract and got the temporary key and was able to pass the Arden family's defensive formation. He was finally inside the Arden family's main mansion area.

"Follow me, lord patriarch is waiting for you in meeting room together with an envoy from the Royal family" said the tall man.

"Alright" said Andy and started following him.

While they were on their way to the meeting room, Andy created a light barrier around the entire Arden family mansion and observed for a bit, then he cancelled that barrier and created an 'invisible man' barrier close to him and summoned Raven inside it and told her through telepathy

'You know what to do, first target's location is..'

'Yes master' said Raven and went in a different direction which Andy told her.

After reaching the meeting room, tall man knocked on the door

"Come in"

After opening the door tall man entered and bowed in respect

"Lord patriarch I have brought that brat here as per your instructions, brat bow down and show respect to your patriarch!"

There were 2 men already present in the meeting room, patriarch of Arden family and an envoy from royal family.

"It is alright I don't like such customs anyway, my dear grandson how have you been?" said Andy's grandfather.

"I was doing great dear grandfather until I received a threatening notice from certain someone" replied Andy

Tall man glared at Andy and was about to say something, but patriarch waved his hand at him and tall man left the room after seeing that. Then patriarch said

"Haah please forgive me for that, you see as a patriarch I have a duty to enforce the family rules fairly on everyone even if they are my grandchildren. Alright we can catch up later, currently we are in the presence of an envoy from the royal family who will be a witness in this meeting and also we will be recording this meeting. Do you have any objections?"

"None, let's get started, my time is precious" said Andy and took a seat at the table before patriarch could ask him to sit.

Patriarch didn't mind his grandson's manners and sat in the seat opposite to him and envoy installed a recording device facing the two of them.

'Now master I am in contact with the first target' said Raven

'It is done, good job, next target's location is ..' Andy then gave Raven a new location

"Alright Andy so let's begin. As we have already explained earlier, you have broken the family rules by starting your clinic without registering your business with your Arden family first. I believe you have already went through the official documents. Do you accept this or have any questions or objections?" asked patriarch.

"Let me just say I was never part of this family and have received no benefits from this family whatsoever ever since I was born. So what obligation do I have towards this family?" Andy then looked at his grandfather with threatening gaze and continued

"There is still time, we both can go our separate ways and never bother each other ever again"

Patriarch's expression changed for a second hearing his grandson threatening him, but quickly recovered from it and said.

"As we have already explained to you earlier as per the official-" but before patriarch could finish Andy interrupted him mid way

"I don't care about your stupid rules or official documents, since you have finally decided to do this here" Andy then took out a storage ring and released 1000 high-tier mana crystals on the table, but the table was too small for that so the crystals scattered everywhere in the room.

"Count it" said Andy.

Patriarch clenched his fist but didn't say anything, he took a deep breadth to calm himself down. He was really hoping for Andy to choose the other alternative and run his clinic in the name of Arden family. That way Arden family could once again rise back to glory on top of Andy's shoulders. But still 50% tax was not a small amount especially since Andy will soon became even more famous than headmistress.

"It is fine, I trust my grandson. Although I would suggest you choose the other alternative and-"

As patriarch was in the middle of convincing his grandson to change his mind, Andy once again interrupted him

"I don't care what you think, prepare the documents for registering my clinic with your stupid family. Then as per the rules as long as I keep paying my taxes monthly on postpaid basis, your Arden family cannot interfere in my business in anyway or your family will be punished by royal family.." Then Andy turned towards the envoy and asked

"Is that right?"

Patriarch was boiling with anger right now, although their family's position have declined recently, no one dare treat him like this in the entire country.

"Yes you are right" said the envoy and then he continued

"If both of you have no objection to it, we can proceed with signing the contract. And remember healer Andy in case you don't pay your taxes to Arden family by 5th of every month, you will be sentenced for 20 years term in royal prison if Arden family raises a complaint."

"I know, I have no objection" said Andy

"And Arden family's patriarch, in case any member of your family messes with his business in anyway and he has the proof of that, then your family will have to return all the tax that you have collected in last 1 year along with a fine of 1000 high-tier mana crystals and the person who was responsible will be sent to 20 years in royal prison" said envoy

"Hmph, fine I also have no objection" said the patriarch. He was a bit salty since this negotiation did not go as he planned.

"Alright since both parties have no objections, please drop a bit of blood on this document and sign it" envoy presented a contract.

Andy took his sweet time to read each and every word of the lengthy document.. twice which annoyed both envoy and patriarch, but they didn't say anything as it was his right to read the contract carefully before signing. They kept waiting for Andy for hours to finish reading the document.

'I am in contact with the last target master' meanwhile Raven was working diligently and already dealt with 62 targets, she was now in contact with the last target.

'Done, just find a place to hide yourself now. Once I get out of reach the invisible barrier will go away. After reaching home I will summon you back.' said Andy

'Understood master'

After all the targets were dealt with, both Andy and patriarch signed the contract and royal family's envoy took the contract and recording with him.

Before leaving Andy showed an evil smile to the patriarch, which gave him a bad feeling.
