35. Healer Exam Part 2

This man was none other than a person who took the written exam together with Andy and failed.

After hiding his evil grin, Andy asked him with a scared tone

"W-What do you need my exam token for?"

"Cut with your act! Hand over your token and I will use it to become a healer" screamed the man as he took out a knife and placed its edge on Andy's neck, Andy then nervously said

"W-Why are you doing such a thing? We are both young around the same age. You can try again after a few months after studying" Andy was currently in Andrew form around 25 years of age.

"What do you know! I spent all my family's savings in healer exam fees yesterday! How am I supposed to give the exam again?! My entire family is depending on me passing this exam! No more nonsense, hand over your exam token or die!"

There were few people passing by as this whole scene took place and they completely ignored them as if it is the usual thing in town and no one stopped by to help Andy.

"Alright fine, take it! Please just don't hurt me!" "begged" Andy as he extended his hand to give this man his exam token.

"Hmmph! you are not as stupid as you lo-" but as soon as this man touched Andy's hand he suddenly stopped speaking and in the next second he hit the ground.

Andy then bent down and gave him an evil smile, took out his ID from the pocket and read it once. This man's name was Dan, and lived nearby this area.

"Alright, I will be leaving Dan, we will meet again soon" said Andy and left.

Dan was looking at him with shock and fear in his eyes. He was able to see, move his eyes, but thats about it. He wasn't able to control any other part of his body.

When Andy reached the magic academy, he showed his exam token to guards and they let him through.

When he reached the healing hall, he was asked to go to the patients wards where they receive and heal the patients.

An examiner was waiting for Andy outside the patients wards, and said

"Make sure to show proper respects to everyone inside unless you want to lose your head. Our patients ward only receives patients from noble families"

"Yes, thank you for your warning elder" thanked Andy.

Then they went inside the patients wards, and the examiner took him to one of the patient room. After entering, both examiner and Andy bowed their head in respect to patient's family.

"Please excuse us for our rudeness mrs Welf. May I ask for your permission to check up on your husband?" asked examiner

"Yes, please go ahead" nodded the pretty woman sitting beside the patient.

"Alright Andrew, can you diagnose mr Welf? Don't say anything until we are out of this room" asked examiner.

Andy then acted as if he is checking patient's pulse, checked his eyes etc to pass some time. The truth was the moment he touched this patient he immediately knew what was wrong with him.

Yup this man was probably cheating on his wife and caught an STD. After getting out of the room, Andy gave his diagnostic and told examiner about STD.

Examiner's eyes widened in shock after hearing this. This disease was pretty much impossible to diagnose without doing proper set of tests. This exam wasn't for Andy to tell the exact disease but to correctly asses the symptoms first. After Andy would have gotten the symptoms correctly examiner would have gave him the patient's reports then.

Examiner's shock then changed to anger, he was sure that Andy just took a guess out of possible diseases this patient could have which is very bad in their line of work.

He then took him to another 4 patients, and the result was the same. The examiner couldn't believe what he was seeing. Except for the headmistress of Magic academy who was the sole high-tier healer in this country, no one could possibly diagnose these diseases without looking at any report.

The examiner was at loss of words. Andy already qualified the exam when he correctly diagnosed first 2 patients. Requirement for passing this exam was to correctly diagnose 2 out of 3 patients, and he got 5 correct in a row, even without looking it at any test report.

Examiner then went to talk to an apprentice healer, that apprentice healer looked at Andy with a shocked expression and rushed away in hurry somewhere.

"Mr Andrew please come this way" examiner came back after talking to that apprentice and his tone changed to that of respect. He thought he is some talented young master for a noble house who had a very good private tutor.

Then they moved to a different patient room. This room was very luxurious and spacious compared to other rooms. Before entering examiner warned him again

"Mr Andrew, please be very respectful with the next patient even though she is younger than you around 18 years old. This next patient is the 3rd princess of this Kingdom. And remember this matter is very private and you will not speak about this to anyone otherwise you and I will both lose our heads"

What he didn't tell Andy was that not even headmistress could diagnose what is wrong with this princess. She has been coming to healing hall regularly ever since she turned 14 years old. Before that she was the most promising mage among all her siblings even though she was not the eldest and had an elder brother (2nd prince) and an elder sister (1st princess).

Magic academy even said they will take her as their student when she turns 15, even though the minimum age criteria is 18. After Lily, she was the next prodigy in current generation.

But no one knew what happened when she turned 14, she couldn't use her mana properly all of a sudden and started feeling pain all over her body. She was mostly bed ridden since then.

There were some rumours going around that she was poisoned by king's 2nd wife, mother of 2nd prince, but no one ever said it out in the open to avoid losing their head.

When they entered the room, princess' mother, king's 3rd wife was sitting beside her daughter gentle caressing her hand. She was incredibly beautiful with an hourglass figure, her beauty was just a level lower than Lily.

Andy immediately hid his lust and turned to look at the princess which shocked him even more. Princess was a very petite small girl and had a very beautiful doll like face, she would probably grow to become even more beautiful than her mother.

'How is she 18 years old?' thought Andy.

Looking at his shocked expression, examiner quickly explained in a whisper

"Princess haven't aged a day ever since she fell sick 4 years old, please hold back on your reaction" said examiner, then he greeted the woman sitting by the patient

"Greeting her majesty the 3rd queen, I brought this man to check up on your daughter. His diagnostic skills are amazing I assure you"

The 3rd queen turned to look at Andy and was shocked to see such a young man.

Andy noticed that her eyes were completely red, she was probably crying just before they came in. Andy then turned his head down and greeted the queen.

"Greetings her majesty the 3rd queen"
