01. Awakening

It was like any other day, Andrew was driving from office to home. As usual it got late and he was rushing back home as there wasn't any traffic at this hour when suddenly a truck came out of no where in front of his car. He couldn't see anything because of the truck's headlight and hit the brake as hard as he could. His whole life flashed before his eyes in that moment.

He remembered reading all those isekai novels and was hoping to get reincarnated in a fantasy world with cheat skills. But the pain he was expecting never came so he started opening his eyes. Once he was able to see, he realised that he was still sitting in the car and his car just stopped a feet before the truck.

With a sense of both happiness and disappointment in his mind, he was about to start his car to leave after glaring at truck driver, but at that moment truck driver took out a pistol and shot him in the chest.
