Reborn

Ryan was a 22 year old scuba diver from Australia, ever since he was little to discover the secrets lying at the bottom of the ocean.

When he was 16 he finally managed to convince his parents to let him go scuba diving for the first time, from then on he went scuba diving every weekend. For Ryan scuba diving was a place of freedom, a different reality.

Today was supposed to be another ordinary scuba diving weekend, but never did he expect that while he was getting on his scuba suit and making sure his oxhgen tank was filled up to the brim, that there would be a mistake made and he was unable to get the oxygen to his lungs and drowned.

Ryan's eyes kept getting heavier and his heart started beating slower and slower until the little thread that was clinging on to it's final hope snapped.

"Huh? where am I? is this the after world?" Ryan thought to himself as his mind suddenly awakened in a place that he has never seen before.

Ryan checked his surroundings and finally understood that he was underwater without an oxygen tank for some reason he did not have any problem with breathing, it felt as if it was natural. Ryan soon looked around more and discovered he was in a corel reef that was 1000 times larger and bigger then the coral reef's back at earth. It basically towered over his head.

At that moment when Ryan was marvelling at the majestic coral reef forest, an excruciating pain pierced through his head and fragments of memorys suddenly came into his mind.

"It turns out this place is another world and when I died my soul travelled and occupied this body that was on the verge of death"

While sorting through the newfound memories, Ryan discovered that this world is called Atlantica and it is a world that has no land at all, only a massive sea that is over a million times larger than that of earth. The people of Atlantica evolved over time and eventually adapted to the environment and started living underwater. Eventually people started learning martial arts and incorporating it into their daily life, Sects started to flourish and people who could split the ocean and blow down underwater cliffs appeared with immortal life spans.

Currently there are known to be 4 different stages in the martial arts.

Body Refinement, cultivator will refine flesh, bones, organs, muscles and pulse. Body Refinement cultivators are able to exert power and speed that regular mortal's are not able to dream of doing.

Meridian Awakening, once all 5 are refined a cultivator will enter the Meridian Awakening realm. After all the refinement pf the body, the cultivator will awaken the hidden meridians and they can start to sense the Qi Essence that flows in the surrounding water, they will use the Qi Essence to strengthen and enlarge the meridians as much as they can so that they can absorb more Qi. A Meridian Awakening cultivator is able to infuse Qi into their attacks.

Golden Core, after the meridians can no longer expand any larger, a cultivator will use the Qi Essence that flows through the body and form a Golden Core in the dantian. A cultivator in golden core realm will start to solidify the golden core, the more solid it is, the more power can be used. Golden Core realm is what people call the true first realm of cultivation you will not be a real cultivator walking on the martial path unless in golden core realm. These cultivators are able to live for 200 years.

Spiritual Sea, after the golden core is solidified you will breakthrough to spiritual land where the golden core melts and turns into a spiritual sea in the dantian, they have the ability to levitate in the water. These cultivators are able to live up to 500 years.

"It seems like the name of the body I took over is also named Ryan, and his parents took him out hunting but unexpectedly they encountered an evolved shark and were killed." Thought Ryan as the memories finally finished flooding through his head, the previous body's family came from a small village called Talot. It is such a small village that there are no cultivators stronger that body refinement stage, and Ryan's family were mortals without any cultivation.

"So it's like that, if I want to live I have to become strong, stronger than anyone else. But how am I gonna do that I don't have any cultivation methods" Ryan said with a sigh

Suddenly a mechanic noise vibrated through Ryan's head.
