1 Launch Time:

With the new capsule installed into his bedroom and mere seconds away from launch Johnny is ready for the make it or break it moment in his life. Pacing and watching the clock Johnny moves through the house anxious for the release as he knows if he doesn't start right, he will not survive in that world or the real one. Looking down and checking the time once more Johnny sees that it's now 0700hrs meaning he could now lay back and login to Borthion.

Racing back across the house and into his room, Johnny climbs into his capsule and launches the game running him through the respected licensing and user agreements before he's actually able to access the character creation. After quickly accepting the agreements he loads right into the character creation, now slowing down to actually read through Johnny realizes just how much work went into creating this world off the bat, there are a total of sixteen different races and then hundreds of build combinations for the character creation. Johnny seeing the undead as an interesting option chooses to go with a skeleton, built with wide shoulders, a height of seven foot tall, flaming red gems for eyes, and a high gloss white color for the bones, Johnny then decides on a name and class. Not wanting to be limited and wanting to be able to expand his powers he chooses the combo class option and combines the Knight and Sorcerer classes to form the class Mage-Knight which then based off his race evolved into the unique class Undead Mage-Knight. Now all that left before Johnny can start is selecting a name, the name he would use to build his fame and wealth, to better his life, after thinking he decided on Apophis, the Egyptian god of death, darkness, thunderstorms, and earthquakes.

Being an undead meant that Johnny or soon to be better known as Apophis would have a lot of trouble in human countries and towns, but he wasn't going to let this stop him from making his mark on this new world. Opening his eyes Apophis wakes up just outside of the town of Farweather, an outlaying town in the kingdom of Gaster, Gaster is a multi-race kingdom and are more open to undead however the people are still weary, as undead are none for their inability to feel emotions and complete disregard of life. However, Apophis is no ordinary undead and do to him being a player in this world he must now prove his worth and earn the peoples' trust so he can do as many quests as possible and start earning money. Now knowing where he was and where the closest town was, he inspected himself to find all he had was torn dirty cloth robes, a rusty short sword, and three basic skills, apprentice swordsmanship, apprentice mage, and basic inspection.

"Well, it appears everything is basic, but I guess I should have expected that since I just started." Making his way through the forest quickly following his map to the closest town Apophis had a large grin, more than ready to begin his new life. Within the hour Apophis made it to the town of Farweather, this town's population mostly consisted of beast people and a few undead which was perfect for Apophis as these people were least likely to outright attack him for being undead. Scratching the back of his head he walked up to the guard on duty at the eastern gate, " Hello there, I am new to these parts, and I would really appreciate being allowed in and maybe even given directions to the inn..." The guard looked over at Apophis and raised an eyebrow, " Just don't start any trouble and you'll be fine, the inn is the large building on the right almost as soon as you enter through this gate." The five-foot six iron clad bear man statement had a hint of sarcasm almost as if he was judging Apophis for being lost and such a low level as he had already inspected him. Nodding with a wave Apophis walked into the gate and looked back with a single thought, ' judging me already based on my level, just wait', turning back around he made his way to the inn and inquired about the fees only to realize he knew nothing about the currency of this world.

The innkeeper told him that the nightly fee was three coppers a night with another two coppers for food and drink. So going off the assumption that coppers are the lowest he thought at most it would take him an hour to make a week's stay for the inn, but he had no idea how to make money. With a smile Apophis then asked, "Where would the adventures' guild be located at in this town?" With a light smile the innkeeper told him that it is located on the other side of the town near the northern gate. With a smile and a quick thanks Apophis then made his way across the town quickly not stopping to look through shops and avoiding confrontation with any of the citizens, he spotted the guild hall finally and made his way inside to find the room full of armor-clad drunken adventures of all ages scattered around the hall in marry conversation. Before Apophis could even take a step a young lady at the back of the hall was walking forward to greet him, " Hello there I haven't seen you here before how can I help you?" Tilting his head back Apophis then greeted the young attendant, " Ah yes ma'am I'm new here and I was looking for information and possible to join the guild if I qualify."
