60. Ding dong

Moans resonated around the hotel rooms as Sophia searched around for the evidence. Her maid dress and her tiny actions made her seem as though she was a very sassy maid that liked to pretend to be the master of the house and do little to no work.

Sophia had sneakily made her way to the master bedroom that was to the right of the living room and opposite of the room that they were in just now.

The door was locked with a key and a passcode which passed very little security for the wonderful evidence that Sophia was about to collect. According to Sophia that was.

Sophia pulled out a pair of gloves from her maid apron pocket and started typing away on the lock.

Within five seconds the lock was hacked and unlocked and only the lock with the physical key remained. She directly pulled out the key she had picked up from Ezra and inserted it in the keyhole. The door clicked open.

Going in, Sophia was really dumbfounded. What greeted her eyes was something that she couldn't have imagined even though she had already caught hold of it from her System Panel.

The room was all empty besides the black backpack on top of the neatly made bed.

Everything seemed very normal unless you focused yourself to target the scent in the air.

It was filled with air freshener. Lots of it.

For a room that was neatly made and with little to no signs of anything amiss, why would there be air freshener in the air to the point of suffocation?

Sophia placed a hand in her mouth and breathed slower so as not to faint and quickly made her way towards the the very normal closet.

It was a walk in closet.

Going inside Sophia ignored the rows of clothings that lined the cabinets. Instead she walked to the left side of closet that had no clothes or stuff at all and started touching the bottom corner of a drawer for something.

When she heard a 'click' Sophia took a step back.

The supposed drawer had pushed forward for a bit before making a swift turn that involved a few other drawers. When combined together it was the perfect size for a door way.

Sophia turned her body sideways and quickly made her way inside the secret room, and looked around. She didn't give a sh*t about the doorway that clicked close once more.

She clearly knew what she was doing as she walked around inside the room and looked around without touching a thing.

There was a glass box with a solid bottom on top of a big box like cabinet that one uses or holding undergarments and ties. There was also a glass separating the big one into two equal parts.

The two drawers were lighted with a blue color on one side and a red on the other. The little containers inside the glass held sand like substance that was the same color as the lights on each side.

If one didn't know what that sand like substance was, they would think that Ezra was crazy for putting two mini containers full of sand inside a secret room.

Who the f*ck treasures sand to this extent?

Sophia leaned down towards the glass for a closer look at the substance and confirmed that they were indeed the drug was limited in supply but wanted by thousands of drug addicts around the world.

Though Ezra himself was a low-key drug addict, he wasn't into this Colorful Fire drug hence he could easily sell it.

The drug itself was very fragile so it had to be kept away in a designated place for two hours before consuming.

The glass box that was divided into two was a tempered box that was made especially for this drug. The only reason Ezra was stopping at this hotel was because he needed to protect the drug from becoming ineffective. To do that he needed to stop traveling and just let it rest for at least 10 hours before moving again.

As the hidden pervert he was, this hotel was made for him. For the ten hours he had on his hands he wanted to get her laid and so Sophia was called or rather a girl was called for the job and Sophia just took over instead.

As for how Sugar Honies was involved with this whole thing, well someone wanted to get dirt on him so even without a proper start on the investigation, whatever's known about a certain someone was always being founded by lower tier workers within Sugar Honies.

That was how Sophia was able to pick up the last level mission from the mission board.

While Sophia checked on the goods and confirmed that all evidence led to Ezra's jail time or something worse, a certain someone was busy getting his head fixed with drinks.

"Hey, Aiden, stop drinking for god's sake and tell us what happened!"

"We're brother's aren't we? Who made you so upset?"

"Give us a name, Aiden! We're going to give them a good beating!"

Aiden paused in his actions and faced his friends. His gaze turned to the friend that mentioned beating up the person who made him upset.

"You're gonna beat them up?"

His friends went quiet. He was finally showing some reaction! How long had it been since he started drinking non-stop without a word?!

'Did he want them to beat the person up?'

"Yes! Yes! We'll beat them to a pulp! Just give us the name!"

Aiden didn't show an signs of saying anything else but his silent gaze on them made them terrified.

'Did we do something wrong?'

Aiden didn't know what to say anymore. He really didn't think that his friends could do anything about his situation so he decided to just leave.

"No need. I'm leaving."

At his words, his friends were more than happy to see him off. The reasons were no more than the fact that this person was Aiden Lee and he was currently not himself.

He as going through severe insomnia, troublesome germaphobia AND he was sudden at a bar drinking his *ss off without a care in the world for his friends who didn't know what to do for him.

Him leaving would be the best because they didn't dare to find out how the mighty Aiden Lee would be once he gets drunk for the first time in his life!

"Let us send you home."

Aiden paused and looked back at his friends and spit out two cold words. "No need."

It seemed as though he was still not drunk yet so the friends weren't as worried to send him off all alone.

Aiden left the private bar room and walked aimlessly throughout the hotel. His gaze was blurry and he stopped in front of a door and rang the bell.

Ding dong.
