55. Inside the Box pt. 1

Sophia was very satisfied with this house. The little hallway with floor to ceiling windows on both floors made way for many opportunities for planting and other relaxing stuff.

She could have her room on the main floor and place Lillian and Rohan on the upper floor or Lillian could stay downstairs and she and Rohan can stay upstairs. That way Lillian can relax more and not move up and down the stairs all day.

She can also have a piece of mind knowing when her kids are in and out of the house. Plus the house doesn't seem so over the top despite its many advanced and modern day technologies. In this way when she introduced this house to Lillian and Rohan, it would be more believable to say that it was provided by her new company.

'Perfect.'

Sophia had finalized her opinion into this one house. She trusted KL and his abilities hence one she saw this house she knew that this was the best she could get at the moment. Besides this house has everything she needed so she was more than okay to buy the place.

Sophia pulled out her phone to call KL who had left to buy some water for her right after she entered. She had just dialed his number when the door clicked and a tall man in his late twenties entered the room.

Dress in a navy blue shirt and some black slacks he looked like a runway model with the bottle of cold water in his hands. He was a true eye candy for young girls and even most boys but not to Sophia. She was used to his beauty but not in such a romantic way.

Sophia turned her body and faced KL as he made his way towards the floor to ceiling window where she was standing.

KL had just handed over the bottle of cold water when Sophia opened her mouth to speak for the first time since he entered the room.

"The condo is good. Finalize the price and have it contracted under my name ASAP. I'll have Rohan and Lillian move in within a day after they discharge."

With that said she took a sip of the water very elegantly with her long fingers wrapped around the bottle and her fair neck and milky face on full display in front of KL.

Having another thought right after, Sophia quickly gulped down the water and spoke up again without giving KL enough time to respond back.

"Get another condo either on the top most floor or the basement below in this same building or nearby for personal use. Whatever it is, get it soundproofed and top-security installed. I'll go with whatever you find so make sure it's private and call me once everything's done."

"Yes, boss."

Sophia handed the bottle of water back to KL and made her way out of the condo right after she received his response.

Going out she didn't head back to Sugar Honies but rather went to visit Lillian who was finally awake even though she was still inside the ICU.

It wasn't that late into the night but the ICU had already closed off visiting for the patients so Sophia only saw Lillian through the glass window.

Again.

'Sigh'

She really needed to make a visit to Lillian when she was awake. What was the point of visiting if she was going to be sleeping or the after visiting hours if she couldn't talk to Lillian? She could just use the System CCTV camera to just check up on Lillian just like she did with Rohan.

Either way after the 'visit' Sophia left towards home for the night. She had plans to start packing and give little to no chance for Lillian and Rohan to refuse the move after they returned from the hospital.

Going home Sophia did some researching by herself without the use of the System and Sachi. Silent talks and the clicks of Sophia's fingers as they pressed upon the keyboard rang throughout the entire bedroom late into the night before Sophia finally decided to rest her bloodshot eyes.

The next morning after her daily morning routine, Sophia started packing. Since it was pretty rude to pack someone else's stuff without permission, Sophia decided to pack her stuff first.

She would let Rohan and Lillian know about moving places before she started helping them pack.

With that thought Sophia had went in and out of the place packing bag after bag filled with clothes and Luna's personal items.

Books, jewelry, makeup, clothes, and many other items made up the few bags that she had just packed.

She was left with the things under the bed. From her memories or rather Luna's memories, Sophia mentally sighed many times before she finally took action and pulled out the big box that was placed deep under the bed.

Without taking off the lid of the box, Sophia mentally prepared herself before placing the box on top of the bed.

Despite knowing what was inside, she really didn't have the courage to face for herself what was really inside that box hence she just left the box on top of the bed and worked on packing some of the memorable items placed around the kitchen and living room.

Sophia couldn't bring herself to work nor could she bring herself to open up the box on top of Luna's bed so Sophia went on. She still packed bag after bag of stuff, had her lunch and packed some more bags despite dazing off for minutes every so often.

Finally after a very long contemplating period Sophia decided to open up the box.

When she did she was still dumbfounded.

'Who the f*ck keeps these things around despite having such a traumatic experience with them?!!'

'Are you f*cking kidding me right now?'

Sophia couldn't help but curse. She had to deal with this even though she didn't want to? Wasn't Luna traumatized by her experience? Why the f*ck does she still deal with this?

Not giving a f*ck about what's happening, Sophia ended up giving into a sudden feeling within her. She called KL and selected a mission from a certain field of expertise.

After confirming the address and details Sophia packed her bag. One filled with a few of the items that was inside the box. After making sure she had everything Sophia left her apartment and made her way towards a certain five-star hotel to meet her client.

All the while her emotionless face seemed to let out a cold air as she passed through the streets all the way until she arrived at the hotel.
