1 Death And Reincarnation

It seems that I was killed after being stabbed by a friend whom I had considered to be my brother, and somehow I got reincarnated in a strange world and in a strange body.

As for why i was stabbed? It seems that one of my friends had always been after my girlfriend, as he could no longer endure it, he invited me to drink alcohol with him, and after making sure that i was drunk he stabbed me to death.

Well, let's first talk about who i am, I used to be called Edward. However since I was reincarnated, let's leave it as "Edd" for now, as i am no longer a human being, and it feels weird calling myself Edward in this form.

It seems that i have been reborn into a 6 meters fox, but with...nine tails, like some fantasy novels. Looking back at my tails and my white fur i can't help but feel awkward. You could say that my current state of mind hasn't settled down from all of the confusion , as i don't even know where i am.

The only thing i know is that i have died and reincarnated into a strange beast, and apparently this strange place i am in currently is a cave, and there is only me and some lizzard at the corner staring at me from the moment i came here.

"Hmm...do i have atleast some system that provides me help? as in like some novels that i read?..well let's test it out."

"System!"

"Hello, system"

"Test...Test...System start!!!"

Looking at the fox who suddenly started shouting, the lizard felt that this fox is probably a retard, "you might as well stop with your weird crap, i'm going to take a nap." said the lizzard while staring at the fox".

Edward was takenback. 'this ugly lizard can talk? what the hell...'

"Hello...can you understand me?" Said Edd.

"Hmph, now i understand you, you were saying weird crap like system that , system this , and i thought you were retarded." Answered the lizzard.

"whoa...you really can talk.." Edd was dumbfounded, this lizzard seems very intelligent and looks very strong, it's body looks Indestructible, from the aura it was releasing made Edd quite uncomfortable.

"It doesn't matter now. You have finally woken up, now i'm relieved from my duty of protecting you." Said the lizzard.

"protecting me? what do you mean, please explain , i feel dizzy and i don't remember anything."

Edd felt that he could get some information regarding this world from this lizzard, so he couldn't help but ask.

"Of course you wouldn't remember anything. you are the last heavenly nine tailed fox, from the day, you were born you've been in a coma. Before your father died he tasked me of protecting you until you woke up." Uttered the lizzard while looking the confused fox.

'last...heavenly nine tailed fox..does that make me a bit special?' thought Edd, "Can you tell me about this world and...why do i feel so weak?"

"This is the Sun Moon Divine Continent, we are currently in a cave deep at the silver fang mountain. We magic beasts are on the verge of going extinct , humans, elves, and many other races hunt us to make materials for their cultivation. As for why you feel weak, it's because your power is only at the Spirit awakening realm, which makes me wonder why you can speak. magic beasts can only posses intelligence and speak at the grandmaster realm. You are the heavenly fox so maybe that's why." Answered the lizzard.

"So that is to if i were spotted by the other races they will hunt me and kill me? and is it them that killed my father?" Asked Edd, with a slight hint of fear.

" Absolutely, on top of that you are the heavenly fox. i myself want to kill you and absord your blood. Hahaha....and about your father, those scums joined forces to take him down." uttered the lizard with a hint of saddness before continuing, "right now our clansmen are still in war with them, we will stand up till the last second."

Edd was takenback. He was killed in his first life and definetly doesn't want a second death. His only chance right now is to grow stronger and lead his remaining clansmen in taking vengeance against the other races.
