John's death wasn't painful as expected, any death that literally takes a fraction of second is basically painless.

John was in a deep daze as the hellish landscape of the underworld and the massive queues of people that stretched endlessly didn't come to his attention. He mused about how life was for him, how everyone was fake to him. He knew his wrongdoings, but the law of the jungle that encompassed this "god" clearly indicated that he didn't give a shit, and he'll make sure that anything that has ever done will be exaggerated enough for him to "deserve" an eternal punishment and all of it is simply for not going along with his whims.

If anyone deserves an eternal punishment, it is someone who has raped countless futures from the people without any wish to take responsibility or afford to carefully contemplate about any considerations beforehand, even readily providing an excuse or stating that this is their right.

John suddenly hears a smug voice that interrupted his thoughts "well, well, well....if isn't John walker, that one atheist who committed suicide... was it too much not to pay the tribute that I deserve?"

john replied as he rolled his eyes "Really?Was it too much to fulfill the requirements of our growth as a species? was it too much to make us realize what good actually is and how is it a better alternative? it was our pointless struggle in the wild that made us inherit evil by nature across every generation, and it's all thanks to a universe that always thrives on poor design that focuses on a certain degree of aesthetics, inefficient consumption and entropy."

The voice replied with irritation "You don't say? Wasn't my creation stable so far? you were also able to earn a living and enjoy yourself despite the nihilist and brooding demeanor."

John face-palmed while rubbing against his temples as he said "No, it was never stable with many factors like natural climate change and cosmic events meteor strikes and radiation from nearby supernovas or neutron stars. Besides, the least amount of relationships are mutualism compared to predation and parasitism , this stability of yours is built at the cost of eventual chaos as seen through your 'ingenious' ecosystems. I also wasn't happy because I knew what I wanted yet I could never have the means to achieve let alone improve upon it thanks to you, but at least I have been able to hold on to a rough idea of what it is so far."

The voice laughed in ridicule then paused before saying "So what if I'm the villain? So what if I research despair and cause chaos like that Darkseid in the comics of your world? no one will believe you anyway, it is your word against mine, and you do not provide them with a false sense of security and hope like I do....."

then he sighed before saying in a casual manner "why did I even waste my time talking to you? off you go! time for your punishment!"

John was suddenly plunged into hell, endlessly free falling into the scorching heat for what seems to be an eternity, strangely enough he didn't feel any pain.

The landscape changed all of a sudden, and John seemed to be standing on what seems to be an endless plane full of darkness.

A voice is suddenly heard "John, I have to say that I'm moved by your efforts in this past, but unfortunately I'm not that omniscient, but I certainly try to do my best even though I'm relatively omnipotent, and I have to say that you don't need to behave like a villain when you don't need almost anything; a villain is born from deficiency according to what we have both seen so far."

John takes a moment to process what this entity had said with clear suspicion in his eyes before saying "I guess there's no use arguing with you. So what do you propose? how do we get through this predicament?"

"You have to see through things yourself..... you have to show me that we see the same things..... with a series of practical performances of course..... although I may have predicted the outcomes already but it is for you to see and think about for yourself..... you'll be used to the lack of free will if I were to give you everything." the mysterious being replied calmly.

The being added "The first trial will be the trial of judgement.... your world will be a familiar one for you.... the world of Akame ga kill....and remember... an unprivileged Shadow lurks beneath to leap above.....never be conceited... that's your real strength."
