Progress

A person was watching two people sparring in the arena. A fierce duel was going on and both of the people fighting were moving like flashes and whenever two people collided, an explosive sound was heard.

Swain saw the whole process of Traus and Liam's fighting, and there was a smile on his face. Liam's progress exceeded everyone's expectations including Swain's himself. Its been 50 years since Swain has taken Liam with him to Vanaheim, and Liam seems to be getting better and better with each passing day.

Liam has completely recovered his divine blood and now he's not bound by the life span and physical capabilities of humans on Earth. He can live as long as other protoss people or even longer than them as a Royal blood. His potential is not less than any member of royal family and this is also one of the reason why he can fight on par with Traus in just fifty years.

Although a major reason for this fast recovery may be the direct supply of divine power by world tree with the help of Swain. Swain cannot completely control the world tree as he has not merged with it yet, but its still possible to communicate with it and get it agree to help.

While Swain was remembering the past, the fight on arena came to an end. Seeing this, Swain turned and returned back to do other things.

In the King's chamber, Swain was meditating on the bed with his eyes closed. Although he doesn't need this anymore as he is constantly being supplied by the World tree and Vanaheim, but Swain still do this. It helps him better in controlling and understanding his powers. He also tries to focus on studying the laws in which he has not succeeded yet, but he will in the future.

Sudden the door was opened and a person entered. Seeing Liam coming, Swain smiled and stopped meditation. Liam looks the same as in the past but is more majestic, strong, powerful and noble than the past. He asked: "Is it already time for your magical lessons?"

"No there's still some time left." replied Liam and sat beside Swain.

"Then do you have anything else to say? "

"No, I just want to spend some time with you." Liam layed on the bed putting his head on Swain's lap.

"You performed very well today." Swain said stroking Liam's hair. Liam has always been clingy to him and he also doesn't mind it and even enjoy it a little.

"I know its good. But I am nowhere near your level." Liam said and wrapped his arms around Swain's waist burying his head in Swain's stomach. He also knows that his progress is very fast, but it is not even close to Swain's level. He knows that it might be absurd, but he still wants to get more and more stronger since he was introduced to many powerful people in the universe. He feels worthlessness of his life on Atrium when comparing it to the vast universe.

"Don't worry. You will get more stronger in future." Swain knew that Liam always feels depressed when he compares himself to the strong people in universe. But his progress is already very fast. After all, not many people can compete on equal footing with Traus after just 50 years of practice. After all, Traus is not an average person. He is the general and even one of the strongest people in the whole Asgard.

Liam saw that Swain was comforting himself and he started to move his hands on Swain's back. He wanted to progress today a little, but hands were immediately caught at their slightest movement.

"No Liam. And it's time for your magical studies." Swain knew what Liam meant but he didn't want anything like that for now.

"I don't like magic. Can't we just skip it today." Liam surrendered on Swain's stopping and didn't try anything else, but his mood became even more depressed when talking about magic. The more he was curious and excited about magic in past, the more he has started to resist it now. He really doesn't want to study those boring books.

"Its for your own good and I am not forcing you to learn it deeper. I just want you to atleast know about some simple magical knowledge and basic magic." Swain said,

laughing a little. Liam is just like Thor, not liking magic. But Swain also doesn't want Liam to become a magic fool like Thor, so he strictly teaches him some basic magic no matter how much Liam disagrees. "And don't worry. Today we are not going to learn magic."

"Really." Liam immediately sat up and looked at Swain with shinning eyes.

"Yes. It's true. So now stop behaving like this." Swain said. He really can't stand those bright and hopeful eyes looking at him so lovingly.

"Its good." Liam replied happily, then a question came in his mind, he continued: "But what are we going to do then?"

"It's about your awakening in the next few days."

Liam was immediately tense. Swain has told him in the past that he will undergo awakening and his chances of awakening his divinity are also very high. But he was still very tense thinking about it.

"Don't worry. You will awaken successfully and it will be a powerful one." Swain comforted. He knows that Liam is very pressured because of it, but he believes that it is not a problem. He has seen Liam's progress and potential in the past few decades and it is excellent.

"I know. I am just a little worried." Liam hugged Swain and replied burying his head in Swain's shoulders. "Can I sleep here today? I promise its just sleeping."

Swain wanted to refuse but seeing Liam's hopeful eyes, the words that came out of his mouth were: "OK, you can, but only for today"

That night, Liam slept for the first time in Swain's room, and Swain also had a peaceful sleep that night.
