2 Killing beasts,breakthrough and first encounter

Tomorrow morning Tang long woke up and got ready to experience killing beasts for the first time. He started moving and after 30 minutes he found a wild boar which is classified as rank 1 Fierce beast. The beasts are ranked from 1-9. They are Fierce Beast, Profound Beast, Origin Beast, Desolate Beast, Heavenly Beast, Immortal Beast and finally Divine Beast.

Tang long took a short sword which was gifted by the old man and approached the boar. Sensing something coming toward it the boar looked at him and charged.

Tang long side steped and swing the sword at the boar. The sword cut deep into the boar shoulder and blood started coming out. The boar got mad and started charging furiously at him. Tang long dodged the attack and swinged his sword at the neck of the boar. The sword cut deeply and the boar died and fell down.

Tang long took a deep breath and exhale loudly. Even though he knew he can kill it easily this was his first fight. The boar didn't contained any crystal so he started moving before other beasts came here due to smell of blood. He knew that beasts only after reaching rank 5 start to form their core.

After walking for sometime he spotted another boar but it was bigger than before it was rank 2 Fierce beast. Tang long fought with it killed easily within 5 moves. All day long he met many types of rank 1 and some rank 2 Fierce beasts and killed them easily and collected some meat to cook. At midday he cooked some meat near the river and he put on the fire and started moving on. Soon it was evening and Tang long started walking towards the cave while picking spiritual grass and fruits.

After reaching the cave he ate some fruits and started his daily workout and soon night descended, today he didn't absorb any spiritual herbs because the energy from rank 1&2 mortal spiritual herbs don't effect the body that much. Once the old man had told him that the efficiency of spiritual herbs decrease upto 40-50% if it is absorbed directly by low rank warrior. So in order to not affect the foundation, low level cultivators should rely on their own.

Everyday Tang long would train in the morning, hunt in the day and meditate at evening. He had spotted many disciple from the sect and the other clan of Wind city but he kept his distance from them. After 15 days Tang long dantain was full with energy, he was sitting cross-legged and the spiritual energy from the herb were moving towards him. After sometime he broke through to early stage of iron rank warrior.

Sometime later Tang long woke up from meditation and picked his sword and started swinging just like mentioned in the book. The name of the book was "Nine sword slash"and it was a incomplete book with only 4 move. Tang long since childhood didn't knew why but he liked sword over other weapon that's why when he visited the library looking for skill book and he found this book at the corner when he was looking for sword skill. After he read the book he felt like this book was really good and took it even though it was incomplete.

Closing his eyes and swinging the sword he felt like he touched something and swung his sword few times. He then sat and started pondering the skill he had read then finally he got what the first move meant.

Tang long kept practicing for about 2 hour and finally got a minor success of it. Now that he got minor success of first move, Tang long was sure he can face rank 2 and 3 Fierce Beasts easily. Eating something Tang long slept because he was feeling more tired than other days.

Tomorrow morning Tang long woke up picked up his bag and sword and eat some dry meat and started moving deeper into the forest. The outer area of the forest was 15 km from the periphery and then the inner forest starts that span upto 200 km forward where rank 2 and 3 beasts roam and rank 4 beast occupied small area and rank 5 are considered overlord. After 200km many rank 5 to 9 fierce are found till it reaches 1000 km. After 1000 km profound rank beasts are found. Tang long after walking 1 hour reached the inner forest. He moved slowly because here rank 2&3 beasts everywhere and sometime rank 4 and 5 beasts are spotted too.

Tang long started walking along side the river because beasts usually came to drink water and midday. After 15 minutes he spotted a 2-tail black cat of half meter in length at 200m ahead of him. It was rank 3 and a speed type Fierce beast. Sensing something the cat looked at rightside and spotted him. Tang long took the sword and moved forward while keeping his stance.

"Grrrr"the cat made a small sound sensing that being weaker than it moving towards it. The cat focused at him at moved and towards him. Tang long decided to strike first so he moved closer and when he was few meters from the cat he moved fast and swing his sword vertically. Seeing the sword coming the cat jump backward and the started to move in a circle like it was looking at it's dinner.

Tang long missing his shot stood there and took a fighting stance. The cat jump fast tried to scratch his face but he moved sideways and swing his sword at the cat hand. Seeing its claws miss attack it rotated mid-air and land at the side. The cat then jumped and attack him at the neck. But this time Tang long took one step sidewise and swing is sword horizontally.

"Air slash"said tang long and swing his sword at its neck. The sword looked like it was moving slow but the cat felt something wrong and tried to duck but it was late and the sword cut its neck. The neck and body of the cat separately fell. Tang long then cut the meet and washed it and started cooking.

Till the evening Tang long kept looking for spiritual herbs and beast. After the cat Tang long kill 2 more rank 3 Fierce beasts and picked some spiritual herbs. Seeing the sun going down he started moving towards the cave.
