Clear the place!" Dante bellowed

Dante ignored Michael altogether. Following his command, his several hundred lackeys swarmed into the banquet hall.

The guests were so terrified that they all sprinted out. George and Eliza, who initially wanted to see Scott's tragic end, were also kicked out without getting to see anything at all.

Meanwhile, Michael wore a downright grim expression right that moment. Greg, on the other hand, glared at Scott while grimacing in pain with his face contorted into a mask of rage as though he wanted to kill him. Argh! How is the Queen family going to hold its head up anymore after having been utterly humiliated today?

"Scott, even if Laurel can't get married today, don't dream that you'll be able to get back with her, you peasant! Someone like you will never find a wife!" Celina screeched at Scott.

She was close to bursting a blood vessel that he ruined the wedding after they had finally hooked up with the wealthy Queen family.

"Do you think you can stop me from marrying Greg by doing this, Scott? Stop dreaming! I've got nothing to do with you anymore, so stop harassing me!"

Laurel shot daggers at Scott, her gaze devoid of all emotions save loathing.

Hearing that, Scott sneered, "Was I the one who harassed you? As far as I remember, the two of you insisted that I attend your wedding. I already told you that you wouldn't be getting married if I attended!"

"How dare you?"

Laurel was so enraged that she gritted her teeth and glowered at him. She made a move to smack him but her mom held her back.

"Don't bother about him anymore, Laurel. He's deliberately angering you and trying to get you to talk to him more. Look at his dopey countenance! Adding to the fact that he's an ex-convict, he'll be a bachelor for the rest of his life!" Celina cursed Scott even as she pulled her daughter over to her.

Right then, Stephanie stepped forward and asked Scott solemnly, "If you don't mind, Mr. Reigns, can I be your girlfriend?"

At that unexpected turn of events,Scott was instantly rooted to the spot. He never expected her to say such a thing in public when she was the heiress of the Vaquez family and would be the head of the Vaquez family in the future,While was just a dude..a peasant boy and to other's an ex-convict.

Laurel and Celina faces flushed bright red with fury and hatred when they heard Stephanie's question. That was unmistakably a slap in the face to them, especially when the latter had just declared that Scott would never be able to find a girlfriend when he was a nobody.

Laurel hands balled into fists, and her face flamed hotly.

I just told him not to harass me anymore the second before, but in the blink of an eye, the heiress of the Vaquez family confessed to him! Compared to her, I'm not even worthy of note!

"Please allow me to consider it for two days, Ms. Vaquez. I'm not quite ready yet."

Scott flashed Stephanie a grateful smile.

He knew that she was only saying that to help him out and prove Laurel and her mother wrong.

Nonetheless, he was still exceedingly thankful that she would help him at the cost of her reputation.

"I'll try my best and give my all to have you accept me, Mr. Reigns."

Josephine gave him a faint smile in return.

Subsequently, the Queen's and Smith's family left. When they were leaving, the look in Micheal's eyes was so vicious that it was as though he wanted to kill Scott right then and there. From the look of things, he was not going to give up his quest for revenge just yet.

Even Diego and Stephanie were asked to leave, no exceptions were made. Right then, only Scott and the members of the Ravaging dynasties remained in the relatively huge banquet hall.

"So, what is it that you want? Just spit it out!"

Scott astutely concluded that Dante definitely had some motive or other to have suddenly helped him clear the place out.
