me, qui and luk were about to head to the medical ward and check on Zhang. "hey you in the mask" looking at the voice it came fom lei long. staring at him though his mask "what do you want"? saying back.

jumping down and making his way towards our group with a lacky fallowing behind, stopping 3m from us. "remove the mask and say your name" saying with a pride voice.

"you don't have the qualifications to ask me to remove my mask nor ask my name" staring back at him

the person next to him says "do you know who he is? it should be your honor to speak with him" over praising lei long

"will you stop that, I'm not a villain. let's make a bet. if I win you will tell me your name and remove your mask"

staring at him "fine, but if I win you owe me two, that I can redeem at any time" with a serious voice.

his eyes were staring at my mask trying to see underneath it and study me. "deal" he quickly turns around and walks away. his lacky gives me a quick glance and walked away also.

walking to the medical ward we see Zhang Just walkin out the door.

"hey guys, sorry I lost" with his head facing downwards you can hear the sadness on his voice.

"it's okay, I lost too, we can use this lost and become stronger" luk said trying to cheer him up

"don't worry I'll join you guys two" qui said with a wavering smile. she knew she had no hope of even fighting and was going to forfeit the next fight.

"chert up guys, we should fill our stomach with delusions food and focus on the future. might is right, theirs no pills to fix regret" trying to act inspirational.

heading back to the inn, I start to formulate a plan to become number 1.

the next morning at the Coliseum we wave by to Zhang and qui. walking on stage with the other 6 people.

the lei elder standing in the sky takes a deep breath In "welcome to the final day of fights. we will declare the winner of the tournament from these 8.we redrew numbers, me, and qui got the same number. lei long got 10, the guy in the black coat got 6, a the light guy who wears all white got 9 the matches will be 1vs3, 5vs6, 7vs8 and 9vs10 "number 1 and 3 take the stage" as everyone left I stood on stage facing my opponent. "start" the elder said.

drawing my sword out its sheath I hear "I surrender" from number 3.

understanding why he would surrender but not believing his words I stare daggers at him. "winner number 1" the elder said understanding his point ov view. walking off the stage I moved into the final four. it was qui turn.

when she took the stage she knew she was facing a brutal earth mage/knight. "do you want to surrender? before the lei elder started the match number 6 asked her to surrender. it goes quite and eyes focus on her. knowing that she it's too weak and not having a chance to beat him. making fist with her hands they start to bleed. looking at him I will not. given a brave face to him. the lei elder shakes his head. "start" he said almost regretting it.

qui pov

staring at him. I won't surrender with out a fight. getting stronger and releasing my mana. "aqua jets" casting a spell as soon as I hear start I summon balls of water blast them forward at number 6. pitiful" he mumbles, "earth wall" a 4m high and 3m thick earth wall comes from the arena blocking my attack.

tch. running forward I summon water balls to float around me. up and over. I throw my water balls up and over the earthen wall. explode. boom boom boom. making them exolode water everywhere with high pressure. the wall breaks from the back and I see nothing there. where did he go started questioning myself. I see a stillhouse at the other side of the arena. how did he get there?

"that was fun but it's time for you to lose" he with a smile." rock bullets" small clumps of rock appears and start firing at me with rapidly. "water wall" summoning a wall of water I block the first volley of rocks. but comes ththe 2nd, the 3rd,"4th feeling my mama draining rapidly from resupplying the wall with mana I see him walk closer and closer.

once he is in 10m range he smiles" earth spear" but nothing came to him. a few seconds later nothing happen. then I piercing pain happens though my arms two earth spears appears from the ground stabbing into them. the water all falls. as he slowly makes his way forward. covering his hand full of qi he delivered a punch to.my chest cracking some bone. bam, bam, bam. as he punched 3 times on my chest I felt my heart stop and restart. coughing up blood. I given an unyielding look. bam the punch landing on my leg breaking it, another landing on my other leg breaking it too. screaming in pain as my two legs break. only be held up by arms which were priced. he looks at me with a sadistic look and sends a punch me on my chin knocking me out.

nyx pov

hearing that qui wont surrender I felt that I should run up and slap her for being so stupid. their is nothing to prove for being so stupid and fight a fight you cant win. as the match progressed I can see that she is smart especially with the water balls going over the wall, but in the middle of the first explosion he disappears and appears on the other side. staring at it more. I wonder what he did. watching qui go on the defensive I see her getting pushed back then the spears get her arms. watching her in agony as he pounds on her I felt my blood go cold and a rage build up in me. i need to kill him. instead of being her with a punch yo the chin he broke both her legs and a few bones in her chest. hes so ruthless.. the lei elder called the match and quickly took her to the medical ward.

when he came back he announced number 6 the winner and called up number 7and 8.

number 8 was a other boring battle between a pure mage and a knight. the fight was short with the knight victory.

finally it was the last match before thr top 4. the light guy vs lei long. it was a very anticipating battle.

walking on the arena they both take their stances. "start" charging forward lei long tries to end it with a swift punch to the light guys chest but the light guy dodges it. pulling out his staff he swings it downwards to lei long who didn't have his weapon out. taken a half a inch step sideways he nearly dodged it. jumping back.

"you what's your name" long said to him

"you can all me light" the light guy said

"well light I'm going to get serious you should just surrender" long said with a. serious face.

"nah I'll win " light said.

as he said that the sky started to turn grey as storm clouds approached. the air was getting tense. lightbine bolt. summon his mana he made a bolt of purple lightning appear in his hand. jumping 29m in the air he started to throw lightning bolt after lightning bolt towards light using the blast to slowdown his decent. it acted as if there was a shower of lightning and long was the God of lightning as electricity danced around him.

light tried to block the first one but as soon as he touched it, electricity jolted through him. causing him to be hit by the 2md one, then the third and fourth. his robe was charred his hair standing up. lighting scares littered his chest. the elder quickly came on stage and announced that long has one.

long quickly lands on the ground after the 10th bolt. looking over me he smiles to say he was showing off his power to make me give up but, it only caused my blood to race more.

the elder brought light to the medical ward.

"will the final four step on stage" the elder said

we all step on stage. I turned my head to the guy dressed in black robe giving him a dead look. "if you face me I'll destroy you" staring at the guy dressed in black. the air around the arena goes 20 degrees colder you can see each breath exhaled.

"enough" the lei elder says to me

"now not to waste anyone time do any of you three want to drop out?" all our eyes point to the knight who had no shot at making it into the top 3. slowly he raised his hand and says "I don't mind taking 4th place" his voice was deep but not that deep. he knew he can't make it into the top 3 so why fight. it was a good choice even if it seemed cowardly.

the next thing surprised us"i would like 3rd place" the black robe man said out a aloud" gasps can be heard everywhere. "why do you want 3rd?, if you fight you might make it into the top 2 or top 1.? the elder said with a curious voice.

"well" looking at me with a huge smile " because I can't imagine how pissed of the guy in the mask must be. he can't beat up the person who practically beat his friend to a pulp Haha it must suck, he cant do a single thing about it hahaha. how does it feel not to be able to harm me. I also get to pick something from the vault so it's a win win? he said with a crazy smile on his face.

"I'll kill you" the only words that came from my mouth. I'll make him suffer a fate worse then death once I find him outside.

the lei elder gives us a wondering stare. "alright, we will now commence the last battle" the black robe leaves with a huge smile on his face.

me and long were on the stage. "do you remember our deal" long said to me

"good" smiling he released everything causing his half of the arena to be electrifying. he seemed to be a young god of lightning. watching him I discard the sword on my hip and pull out my scythe. the scythe shocked most people since it's an unusual weapon of choice. taking a deep breath in i also release everything causing my half of the arena to feel like a frozen tundra as ice covered all of it and temperature drops dramatically.

our domains meet in the middle causing a clash of electric and ice. normally the electricity would win but their were strange thing about the ice. they carried hint of time and space. the battle of domains was stunning scene. normally won word have to be a grand mage to release a domain but with a hevaen defying manual it can made a purso-domain. boom explosions happen as we fight for dominance. the elder says shock at me and forgot to say start. clearing his hes he says "start".

Moon Fang" bring down the scythe, the moves along scythe blade and explodes outwards as I hit the ground causing a wave of ice to shoot out the ground. the ice shot forward and spread widely coming 7m.

long lei smile "roar of thunder" taking in a deep breath and releasing a primordial roar he shatters the incoming ice and stop it from advancing. "lightning flicker" he summons lightning to his feet and disappears. he shows up running sideways with lightnine bolts in his hand "try this, dome of lightning." he threw 30 lighting bolts forming a 20m dome around me. long stop running collapse. all 30 lightning bolts quickly comes towards me. quickly thinking of a shield I summon my mana shield of frost. forming a 3m shield around me I take a breath. knowing the shield wont hold i quickly formulate a plan. I need to get fast with flash step.

crazy idea pops in my head. under another volley of lightnine the shield breaks open and I quickly flashes step to dodge the lightning. with 30 bolts of lighting coming towards me, I look at them and notice thethey aren't coming at the same speed nor the same distance. the weakness. using flash step I appearing for only an instance I dodge most of them. for the ones I can't dodge I throw my scythe to block. blocking and dodging. I do flips and dodge some.more. 2 mins to by before long stops the volley. seeing my chance I yell "Heaven-Piercer" my hair flying behind me I charge forwrd. doing a vertical slash summoning my coldest strike at the tip of the scythe blade. getting towards him. "wings of lighting" purple wings appear on his back" he then summons a Spar " lighting strike" pushing his spear in a vertical motion it reached my scythe and and explosion happen. ice and electricity fire off into the crowded but the elders quickly wave their sleeves and destroy the rampaging ice and electricity. being blown back to the edge of the arena my scythe destroyed I split some blood on my mask as it leaks out the bottom. I look up to see him not faring any better then me with a blood stain his lip and one of his arm sleeve torn up. we both breath heavily.

"my name is nyx. you earned that" staring st him. "let's end this in the next move" respecting him for his strength

"nice name but I'll still that mask off" smiling. "lighting release, dragovic transforms, thunder spear" boom the air gets heavy and a beam of lighting come from him. he grows taller and his eyes turn into a electrifying deep purple with slits. his Aurora gets more powerful up to a grand knight. he stares at me waiting for my move.

"staring at him back I look amd smile summoning a sword from nowhere I then whisper"hey Izanami I need a way to beat him"

"are you sure you want to win this contest? you will be weaken for a period of time" she said.

"yes I'm sure" with a serious voice I say

out loud I say awaken" Izanami no mikoto" boom a beam of pale blue light covers me and my sword. changes from a sword to a scythe. my robe changes from a pale blue into a Empress Komodo. it was pitch black with galaxies moving along it. the trimming was a deep blue giving off endless cold. my air turned white and then back to black. the scythe was pitch black with a plate blue blade. in the space was an hourglass with ice Crystal's running down it and the back up. my eyes were a black and blue. given off a heaven defying Aurora I casual glance made him take a step back.

"are you ready" a asking with a voice so cold it can freeze one soul.

looking at me long charges forward" lighting dragons might" his shadow looked like a might lightning dragon he increased his speed and was like a shadow but to me he wawas moving extremely slow. flash stepping I appear at his side and with a light kick I send him flying to the other side of the arena. couching up blood he looks at me wondering what happened. holding my scythe out I stare at him. I raise it up" Moon Fang Heaven-Piercer, getsuga tenshou" slicing downwards a cut 30m height and 4m wide appeared moving forward. space was on the verge of collapsing what didn't get destroyed was frozen. the slash was making it way forward destroying everything in its path. boom 8 lei elders fly out from their seats and do their most powerful attack and try to defend against it. they only managed to slow it down. the head elder had to personally step out he reached for his sword amd made a cut. boom boooom rhe slash was finally defeated. they all looked over at me in shock. long quickly released his techniques and puke up a mouth full of blood. "I forfit" looking at me.

crack, my mask breaks from the sheer power I realised. "do you honor your favors with your life" I ask him with a cold voice.

"yes" he said taken back from my apearice which defied the heavens.

"good, I'm going to pass out now and I don't know when I'll wake up. I want you to take care of my two pets and give me a room to faint with a female maid to take care of me as I sleep. even my doctor has to be female" these are the favors I ask"

"alright" the head lei elder says before long can reply with a smile.

good, soon everything went black and I collapsed
