30 Funeral and Drawn swords

Early in the morning Kai and others are standing before a giant golden gate with many magic circles drawn on it.

As the Magic circle started to glow and a mirror-like surface appeared on top of the gate in which Kai could see his reflection.

Seeingthis kind of thing for the first time, Kai approaches the surface and touches it, which causes the formation of waves like when calm water is touched it creates waves the same kind of waves can be felt like the surface mirror-like surface acts like water.

Seeing Kai's action and how he is acting, Diana and others smiled.

"Kai this is the teleporter which connects Capital city with Almon city, let me show you how it's work," said Michael and approached the mirror surface and before everyone eyes submerged into the mirror, if any person see this kind of thing will definitely say that Michael has entered Mirror world but no,This mirror-like surface is creating a shortcut and connecting two endpoints with each.

"Let's go father is already at another side," said Alfred as he also entered the gate followed by Diana and Lily finally Kai also entered.

In teleportation station of Royal palace Palace guards were standing before four giant golden gates as suddenly from one of the gates an old man with white hair appears, seeing the old man the guards send greetings,

"Welcome to royal capital, Sir Duke Michael Almon".

"It has been a long time since I have come to the capital"

Behind Michael, Alfred and Diana also come out of the gate followed by Kai and Lily.

Seeing Diana and Alfred, they were not surprised when they saw Kai and Lily, guards were confused about their identity

"Sir Duke only Nobles and their family members are allowed to attend the King 's funeral, so can you tell me who they guys are?"as the guard pointed to Kai and Lily.

"He is Diana fiancee and she is his little sister," said Michael with a smile"So they are family members right"

"Yes, yes sir," said guard hurriedly

"let me lead you to the old palace hall where all are gathered"Micheal nods as he follows the guard with Kai and another following behind.

When they reached old palace hall, Kai was bewitched by the simplicity of the hall, there was no decoration, the floor was made up of rocks,top of palace hall was a dome made up of wood with a large circular opening in the middle from there sunrays where coming in and falling on the wooden coffin with a transparent glass covering as a man lies inside it, this man was late King of Buraford kingdom, Barman Buraford.

All nobles with their families and ministers were standing at two sides of the hall while leaving the middle part of the hall empty and the coffin lowering their heads with pin-drop silence.

Micheal, Diana, Alfred, Kai and Lily also entered the hall without causing any disturbance and stood at one side.

Suddenly the silence was broken with a sound of footsteps was all person present looked at direction origin of sound,Men's completely wearing white clothes with blue stripes their faces were hidden under a cloth entered the hall and surrounded the coffin and a man who was wearing white clothes with golden stripes entered holding a golden staff with a make of sun on top of it (⛅).

The man stood before the coffin and other blue strip men took out a white shining cloth and cover the entire coffin, and the golden strip man touch the coffin with the sun symbol on top of the staff and said

"May you, the king of us mortal, may your soul find peace in another side, may your sins be purified, as you enter the supreme paradise"saying that the golden striped man took back the staff and turned around and left with Blue striped men.

Kai, who was seeing all this drama was completely astonished.on seeing Kai expression, Alfred whispered in Kai ears

"They were priests and bishops of Radiant Sun Religious, the greatest and most influential religions of the human race, their main headquarters are in Radiant Empire which is one of the three empires with Oman and Chaos empire"

"Radiant through is not the strongest but it is the most influential among them, all previous King of Buraford have tried to suppress the influence of Radiant religious in recent years their influence has increased, even late King was a follower of Radiant Sun Religious"

Hearing all this information, Kai nods as he again looks at the coffin as four Royal guards carry King Coffin in their shoulder and start marching towards the royal sanctuary where all previous royal family persons are buried as ministers and Nobles follow behind them silent footsteps.

In Royal sanctuary, King was buried at 10 O'Clock and nobles and Minister's where returning back to palace but the atmosphere has completely changed, as everyone was looking at each other with suspicious expression and were trying to measure each other personal power, some eyes full of curiosity also fall on Kai, who was an unknown figure following Duke Michael, it can be said that already war for throne has begun unofficially.

When all nobles and ministers returned to the royal palace, the royal guard told them that the council of elders had passed on a message for all of them to gather in the new palace hall.

The council of elders is made up of 10wise men who don't have any power during King rule but in absence of King, elders hold the command over the kingdom until the new King is elected.

New palace hall, when Kai entered, he saw floor covered with red carpet with three stairs, one at extreme left side of hall, another at end of right side and one in middle completely made up of white marble leading to the first floor and entire hall was colored in blue with different designs of animals and plants painted on them with golden colour, whenever light falls on them all starts to shine,but no one was in a mood to look appreciate it and we're only looking at a man standing on the first floor in his hand has a white paper in his hands.

This man is the current royal court chief magic-user and head of royal guard unit, Charles Ford

"As you all know that our King has left this world but the world and kingdom must move on, we must choose a new King, for that elders have taken a decision and I am here to pass on their command to all of you"
