4 Bitter Truth
The day began, and sunlight broke into Kai's room as he jumped up from his bed with a smile and a body tumbling with excitement.
"Today is the day, the day of the potential test is finally here."
It was the day young children found out if they have the potential to become a magic user, elite or will remain an ordinary person.

"This paper is an official document that has your initial body potential and your proof of identity for where you go in the kingdom. Now I shall announce the results"
"Among the 66 children, 44 have a low-level body potential and can only become ordinary citizens. However, you can still try to enter a scholar academy to become a government official or you could find other talents."
"Next, in the mid potential body group, are Michael, Shylin, Roth, Julia, Nova, Arman, Sebas, Norman, Eve, Robert. You all can join a military academy where you can become soldiers or fighters. If you show enough talent in the military, you can strive for a higher post."

As his parents were trying to encourage him, the crowd was looking at him with pity, even Alice and the other kids did the same."No, no, Sir Lapor said that I will become a magic user. You all are lying." Shouted Kai."He knew it was Kai, but he did not tell you that you have no magic channel. He must not have known about the mage root, he just did not want to shatter your dream, but now accept it."
"No, no, you are lying." Said Kai as he ran towards the town main gate at full speed.

You can just pray that wherever your son goes is a place where he can be safe." Said Alfred with a helpless voice, he cannot do anything about it.
Hearing that Tarika became unconscious due to shock as Bolt's body shaked as tears flowed from eyes as he looked at his wife.
Seeing this Alfred also felt helpless as townlord appointed by the kingdom it's his job to take care of safety of the people of the town as he look at the heartbroken figure of Kai's parents, he sighed and looked towards the sky and shaked his head and turned around to walk towards the town hall. while the crowd dispersed.
"Kai, where did you disappear? Wherever you go, I will find you." Said Alice in a low voice full of resolve as she looked at the place where Kai disappeared from.
[Unknown Place in Northern lands]
A young man was sitting on the stone platform staring at the crystal ball with an image of Kai disappearing in the space crack with a thin smile.
'It's done now. This continent is bright now. Though I feel bad for his mother and father, it's a necessary sacrifice.'
