LENA WOKE UP!!

With the help of Elena, Arthur finally settled the matter of tent. Arthur laid down Lena in the tent surprising both girls.

"You are such a cute couple... Even though you are a human and she is a devil..."

Elena remarked in a teasing tone.

Lumia, on the other hand, showed an disgusted expression.

Arthur just ignored Lumia for the time being and concentrated on Elena as she is more easy to talk with.

"I am also surprised by what happened today and it isn't easy for me too. But I believe that I can trust Lena even if she is a devil, I know she will never harm me in any way. ", Arthur said with a smile.

"Oh, so you don't deny that you are a couple, With a devil-kind, I mean?"

"Well, no. I don't deny that to you. But I am not foolish enough to say it around the city.", Arthur said like a smart-ass young master.

"You are not afraid that we might expose you guys.", Elena replied with a crafty smirk in her beautiful icy face.

Arthur replied while scratching his head,"I don't know. I can only trust you and ask you to remain silent about it. " Arthur gave a pleading looking at the end of his line.

Elena giggled and her fox-ears twitched because of that. Arthur found her very cute at that moment. He became dazed seeing Elena like that. At that moment, he heard someone snorted.

He didn't need to turn around to see who it was because he already knew that it is Lumia. Then, he heard Lumia' s footsteps and she entered the tent angrily.

"Hehe.. Our Lumia is angry at you. What are you going to do with that?", Elena changed the topic for the conversation.

"Any suggestions??"

"Why don't you woo her too?", Elena advised me with a serious face.

"You serious!!! She will kick me if I come near an inch of her now."

"You don't know.... Maybe she will like it but you have to try to know the outcome. ", she gave me a big sister type of smile which was actually funny.

"I will think about it. But what about.."

"Yawn.. I am sleepy. Let's go to sleep now so we can start early tomorrow. ", Elena cut short whatever Arthur was going to say and stood up and walked towards her tent with graceful steps. She entered her tent gracefully and Arthur couldn't see her anymore.

Inside Elena's tent..

Elena was sitting on her sleeping bed with a slightly red face, her heart beating furiously.

"Too close.. He was about to ask me. But I don't know what to do. I cannot fully trust anyone. "

"This time I want everything to go according to my wish. I hope I am fortunate in this generation. ", Elena's golden eye glowed brightly in the dark night which looked determined.

Arthur was left alone beside the camp fire. He wanted to ask Elena if she was alright about the kiss and how she became so strong out of the blue. But he missed his opportunity as she left hurriedly to her tent.

He also did not stay out for long time. After a few minutes staying outside, he also went back to his tent.

But as soon as he entered the tent, he saw a pale grey skinned, pink eyed woman full of silver-grey coloured hair sitting up on his bed. Her arched horn protruding on the forehead turned deep black with an hypnotic attraction.

It was Lena who was sitting on my bed inside the tent. She is finally awake now. I couldn't look away from her because of the devilish charm she is exuding.

She had a smile on her face as she watched me come towards her. When I reached her place, my hand unconsciously moved and I caressed her face gently.

My gentle caressing managed to make her blush. Her pale skin tinted with redness is extremely charming.

When Arthur realised what he was doing, he became awkward and his hand stopped. But Lena smiled and rubbed her face in Arthur's palm.

Arthur was shocked as he didn't expect that. But he had so many questions that he needed answers first.

"When did you woke up? Did the potion work?", Arthur asked her first.

"The potion worked like a miracle medicine, it healed me completely and i woke up In the carriage...."

"You pretended to be unconscious for a while!! Why??"

"I was afraid to face you, thought you might hate me. You might not shelter me anymore. ",Lena whispered in a sad tone.

"So why did you consider facing me now?"

"Because I heard what you talked about with the fox-girl.", Lena beamed at Arthur gratefully.

Arthur couldn't help but feel sorry and happy at the same time. Happy because Lena seems to be opening up to him and sorry because he didn't know that she was in need of a trusted person so much.

Arthur thought she was sad because her brother died recently but that is the story she told him before. He can't be blamed for not noticing. But Arthur still felt guilty for not being able to be her support pillar.

Lena seems to understand his thoughts so she consoled him.

"Don't blame your self, Arthur. It's not your fault. I am grateful that you are not hunting me down after knowing my true identity. In that regards, you are a weird human. But I feel safe with you for some reason. "

Saying that Lena took one of his hands and interlocked them, then stood up and hugged Arthur.

"Thank you for trusting me, Arthur. If you trust me, then I will trust you too. ", Lena whispered in my ears while resting her head In my shoulder.

"But I don't want your trust. I want both your trust and love. I love you, Lena.", Arthur gathered all his courage in his body and declared his love for her directly.
