59 Love is Blind

Amy spent a wonderful Valentine's day at home with Tom despite Richard's all indirect efforts to make her stay from the house. The next day, Amy was sitting in Richard's office after they came back from Disney's office from the contract signing.

Amy asked: "Do you think is it Disney generous or my paycheck has already reached so high amount. 5 million $ is quite an amount, even Johnny Depp's pay is only 10 million.?"

Richard who was busy dealing with the documents, stopped his work and looked at Amy observing if she was joking or she really thinks so. Seeing that Amy was serious about the question, he couldn't help but sigh: "Remember one thing, no studio would be ever generous to an actor. They try their best to squeeze the actors. And the pay you are receiving is your rightful salary which you deserve. Although your only 3 movies have been released, all three of them are box office blockbusters. Even the least, "Memento" has crossed the 50 million mark. And taking ths pirate movie is a very dangerous thing for any actor. So Disney has to pay generously to invite starts who have guranted box office performances."

Amy nooded and agreed with Richard's words. At this time, no one knows how big of a hit "Pirates of the Caribbean" would be. Majority of the industry is expecting it to flop like they did to "Titanic". Amy put the things out of her mind and continued reading the script for the movie.

Richard who was working looked at Amy who was reading the script with her head down, he spoke: "Amy, I still don't agree from my heart of you being with Tom. There's too big of an age gap between you."

Amy stopped reading and replied with a determined and smiling look in her eyes: "I know, but I love him. I see the passion and love in his eyes for me every time I see him. Isn't it wonderful."

Richard shook his head, he didn't want to argue with someone who is new in love. He said: "I can only say love has blinded your eyes."

Amy replied: "Maybe, it has." but the word blind and love kept ringing in her mind all day. Even in the evening, she had these words in her mind. Tom also observed that Amy seems to be thinking about something, but she didn't say anything to him.

In the middle of night, Amy woke up in confusion. Tom who was sleeping beside also woke up feeling his girlfriend'a strangeness, "Are you alright. Is there any problem? You can tell me."

Amy replied: "Its nothing. You go to sleep. I have something to do." she put on the shoes and left the bedroom.

Tom nooded and didn't ask more. Privacy is the right of everyone and he won't ask forcibly if Amy doesn't want to tell. He slept.

The next morning, Tom woke up as usual but there was no one beside him on the bed. He hurriedly got out and searched for Amy.

"Amy....Amy...Amy"

A voice sounded: "I am here."

The voice seemed to have come from the office, and Tom went there. As he went inside. he found a tired Amy sitting infront of the table with dark circles under her eyes and pages in her hand.

Seeing this, Tom's mood worsened and he looked at Amy with anger in his voice: "Amy, you have to give me an explanation for this, otherwise I am sure you will not be getting out of it without a punishment."

Amy saw that Tom was angry and hurriedly gave him the papers in her hand: "Read it."

Tom took the papers and started reading them. He only read it halfway and looked up to Amy: "What is it"

"Its a script, I mean a prototype of it."

"I mean why do you have it?"

Amy replied: "Of course, I wrote it." she had been thinking about yesterday's conversation with Richard and words like Love, Blind, herself and Tom kept appearing in her mind. So an idea struck her and she wrote this prototype of a script at night.

Tom was surprised and only two words came out of his mouth, "It's wonderful." he continued reading the script.

The script is about a beautiful girl who was a top student at painting department in Arts college. Everyone was amazed at her talent and sure that she will be successful, but a tragedy struck her and she lost her eyesight and became blind. Losing her dreams and eyesight, she couldn't paint and became depressed and lonely. She then met a guy at the park where she used to sit the whole morning after losing her eyesight. He was much older than her and divorced two times. He was a successful buisnesman but lonely in his heart. They interacted and fell madly in love with each other. But the problems in their lives continued and they separated from each other due to misunderstandings. Michael though Elizabeth didn't want to be with him as he was much older than her and divorced two times, while Elizabeth thought Michael left her as she's a blind and not of his status. After this, three years passed.

One day, Michael went to an art exhibition and saw many portraits, and they all were of the things he talked to Elizabeth about. On asking, he found out that they didn't know the name of Artist and paintings always had two initials E.M on them. He knew it was his Elizabeth and started searching madly for her. In the end, he found her at a lonely Art studio where she was drawing a picture of his and her when they were together. He was shocked to see that Elizabeth still drew him perfectly despite her never seeing his face. He went to her and they hugged. They didn't say anything and script ends with a kiss between them.

Tomorrow read the script and looked at the happy face of Amy who was looking at him, waiting for the praise. There was a complicated look in his eyes. He put the script aside and went to Amy and hugged her. No words were said like the script and they started kissing passionately. Tom picked up Amy and took her to their bedroom. As they entered inaide, the picture blurred and the door of the room was closed.
