Chapter 1Teenage Failure

Failure now that's a phrase I've heard before I've just turned 18 and my parents were going to boot me to the street next week even though I earned more than they did playing games and now I was preparing for the indignity of being forced out of my own family home but it was time anyway. I had just won a tournament in my favorite online game it was a little different from most games as if your character dies that's it no respawn you have to grind a new character from zero which makes having tournaments a huge thing and gives the top players something to do that is exciting. Part of the tournament was a knowledge test and each player was given 300 questions to answer without any help most of which were obscure knowledge or something that was not widely known and honestly I knew the game inside and out I even knew a couple of the languages that were used in it.

The knowledge test was mostly a preliminary test that was non fatal and would earn the participants some extra gold which most would resell later on but the second part was the battle first by teams with survivors then split up into groups and then finally the duels with the champion being the last one standing and duels did not stop going until there was a victor.

I had beaten all of the odds of spell casters winning the tournament and done so as a pure caster which is unusual in the extreme simply because I had used every skill and ability and trick I could get to maximize both my power aka damage and my capacity for mana which is fairly rare to see as you only get 150 stat points to assign in total with a few perks giving you one of two extras and that's it. Now I was the most acclaimed spell caster in any game I chose to play and I made it a point to become the arch mage in every game I played so when I earned the title in my latest game I decided to treat myself and walked to the pizza parlor only a block away from my house and everything was normal until a portal opened up ominously black with red edges and a sucking sound akin to hundreds of hoover vacuums and sucked me in.

Level 1 to Infinity: My Bloodline Is the Ultimate Cheat!

They shattered his life. Now, he’ll break the world. Ethan had it all, until his best friend and the woman he loved betrayed him, leaving him crippled and forgotten. Three years of suffering later, he clawed his way to one final, desperate act… and the universe answered. A hidden quest. A second chance. A return to the moment everything began. Now, Ethan is back, on the eve of Ethereal’s launch, the world’s first fully immersive VR game and the battlefield where legends are forged. Last time, he played fair. This time? He’s armed with years of knowledge: every exploit, every secret quest, every broken mechanic that will let him climb straight to the top. But when he logs in, something is off. The system forces him into an unwanted class—Druid, the game’s biggest joke. The kind of class people pick as a dare and regret immediately. Yet as Ethan digs deeper, the truth shakes him. [Congratulations! You have unlocked the Divine Bloodline: King of Elves!] Ethan stared at the screen, unblinking. “…The hell?” The Druid class was a jack-of-all-trades, master of none—a scattered mess of abilities that mimicked other classes but never truly excelled. Their bear form lacked the raw defense of a proper tank. Their panther form was weaker than a rogue. Their healing fell short of a priest, and their magic couldn’t compare to a mage’s devastating spells. Most players abandoned the class early, realizing they could never compete at the highest level. And yet, Ethan’s stats are off the charts. His talents are absurd. His potential is beyond anything he’s ever seen. The system has given him something no other Druid ever had—a divine bloodline, legendary abilities, and a growth rate that defies logic. If Druids were meant to be weak, then Ethan was the exception that would rewrite history. He’s not just here to reclaim his throne. He’s here to take everything. Factions will rise. Empires will fall. The strongest will thrive, and the weak will perish. And the ones who betrayed him? They won’t live to do it again.
