Looking at my tablet, I could only sigh after reading the latest news.

Today was the day when the girl group that I have been managing announced their disbandment. After debuting for three years, the group could not make any progress. With the high competition and lack of funding, the group could not get promoted as much as other groups. The group could not make any hit song, and their Music Video views could not even reach a million. Also though the group was full of talents, they just could not survive, and their fan base was not strong enough to support them.

After being disbanded, some of the members decided to stay with the company hoping to get promoted as a solo, others chose to leave and join other entertainment company to become actresses, and other just decided to retire from the entertainment industry.

For me, as their manager, has been laid off weeks before their disbanding announcement.

I have been jobless for weeks now.

I was sitting on the sofa in my small apartment looking for jobs listed in the job finding website.

But there was no result.

I have tried to apply to other entertainment companies and rejected multiple times.

Looking at the ceiling, I could only sigh...

I wish I was given another chance...

I wish I could travel to the past...

I wish I have a superpower like the novel I have read...

I could only wish...

I also become greedier in wishing.

Becoming rich, having a beautiful wife, has some power, and so on.

The doorbell rang.

I went to open the door and look at the peephole and found there were two men in police uniform outside my apartment. I quickly open the door halfway and greet them.

"Hello?"

"Kim Hyun Sook-shi?"

"Yes, is there any problem?"

"We would like you to come with us to the police station for investigation."

"I think you came for the wrong guy, what have I done for me to come to the station."

One of the policemen looks annoyed and replied

"You have been accused of embezzling money from KCM Entertainment."

One of the policemen caught my hand and forcefully opened the door so that I could get handcuffed.

"ARGH!!!"

After forcefully handcuffing me they started to explain about my right and brought me in the police car.

Other policemen that have been station outside my apartment building in case of me running away came inside bringing a box maybe for taking some evidence from my apartment

I wanted to complain, but I was too scared.

The policemen look threatening.

I was cringing as if I was a cornered rabbit.

My body was shivering and started to sweat because of nervousness.

After a few minutes, we arrived at the police station.

I was brought into the interrogation room.

It was my first time inside this kind of room.

I only saw the interrogation room only from dramas or movies that I watched.

But It looks similar.

When I enter, there were a pair of chairs and a table between them.

There was also a black glass window behind the chair probably for the interrogator.

There was one more table at the corner with a laptop that might be for communication or recording the script of interrogation.

There were also cameras at each corner.

I was directly forced to seat at the opposite chair facing the black window and was left alone.

The room was quite dark and chilly.

After learning from dramas and movies, I knew that people on the opposite side of the window probably were watching me and wait to attack me psychologically.

It was indeed effective.

I was nervous.

My hand kept shaking.

My body started to sweat even though the room was chilly.

My heart started to beat faster and faster.

Even though I was innocence, I could not help being nervous.

I was angry at the same time for being wrongly accused.

Suddenly, I felt pain on my chest.

"ARGH!!"

Holding my chest, I kept breathing hard for more air.

I could not breathe.

My heart was in pained.

"Help."

I barely said as I have no strength.

A door was open in a hurry.

Numbers of police officers came and started to do first aid.

"Hurry do a CPR."

The other men that probably have experienced doing CPR started pushing my chest.

"2"

The men kept counting.

I was still conscious at that time.

But, minutes later I started to lose my consciousness.

I could barely saw people shouting, but I could not hear them.

My view turned dark.

Sigh...

I could only sigh even though I could not breathe.

I have died.

I have too much regret in this life.

I wish I was given a second chance.

I wish I could have done it once before I died.

I could only regret...
