No Dating Until 35, Are You Serious?!

Percy's POV

Percy watched as Poseidon paced (swam) back and forth in front of her. Triton stood beside her, his face in his hand. She glanced at her step-mom Amphitrite, who had on the widest grin Percy as ever seen. That didn't give her much comfort. Percy swallowed hard. The tension in the throne room was so thick, she wasn't even sure if riptide could even cut through it.

"Why? My little sea star? Why" Poseidon asked her, worried filled his eyes. Amphitrite raised an eyebrow at her husband.

"Really Dear? That is what you ask her first-hand about her relationships?"

"Mom, look at her!" Triton grabbed Percy's shoulder and shook her back and forth. "She's just a little girl, she is too young to date!" Percy glared at her brother and swatted his hands away.

Poseidon continued to look at Percy. "Percy, what have we talked about?"

The demigoddess sighed. "No boys until 35."

"Exactly! And what did you do?"

"I got a date at the age of 17," Percy grumbled, she glanced at Amphitrite with a pleading look in her eyes.

"Alright you two, leave the girl alone. I believe it is wonderful news that our daughter has finally got herself a date." Amphitrite came down from her throne and gave Percy a hug. "I'm so proud of you, my little princess."

"But mom-"

"Oh, go put a seaweed in it," The queen of the sea swatted Triton on the head. "This is a big step for a young girl and I would not allow you two to ruin it."

Poseidon gapped at his queen and she gave him a glare in return. That shut him up. Triton, however, was still staring in disbelief at his mother.

"Mother, I think you have been hanging around Aphrodite too much." That earned him another slap on the head. Percy giggled.

Amphitrite smiles down at her with glittering light in her eyes. "Now, who is this lucky gentleman that has won my princess's heart?"

"And where is he..." Triton asked with a murderous look on his face. Amphitrite gave him a motherly-glare.

"Fine mother..."

Amphitrite turned back to Percy and urged her to continue. "His name is Nightwing, I can't reveal his identity but I guess you know who he is?" Being an immortal and all.

"Richard Dick Grayson, nice guy," Amphitrite said thoughtfully. "Well, I would have to ask your Aunt Aphrodite about him for more details."

Percy nodded with reluctance. Aphrodite is not a good love counselor whether she is a goddess of love or not, she can talk about relationships like that is an everyday subject and make the lovers more awkward to each other than ever. She shuddered at the memory of the last couple that had gone to Aphrodite for counseling. But Percy didn't stop her step-mom from suggesting Aphrodite's counseling, she kinda wishes to know what the goddess of love will say about her love life.

"So does that means that you guys are okay with me dating a mortal?" She asked with a hopeful voice.

Amphitrite bobbed her head up and down while her dad and brother just huffed and mumbled something under their breath.

"I'll take that as a yes then." Percy cheered happily. She can't wait to tell Dick this.

beep, beep

'Percy, come in, Percy! We need you back at the Cave, there is another mission.'

Percy's smile dropped a little, she reached up and pressed her earpiece. "Roger that, Nightwing. I'll be back ASAP" She looked at her godly family with a sad smile.

"Well, it looks like I'll have to go now, mission calls." They nodded in understanding. Triton came up to her and gave her a hug.

"Be safe, sister. We await your return." Percy hugs back and muttered an 'I will' to him. She went on and bid her step-mom and father Farwell and swam out of the throne room towards the nearest Zeta-tube as fast as possible.
