Ring of Immortality

Sun Long opened his eyes to a bright, unfamiliar world. He was lying on a soft bed, surrounded by white walls and a ceiling adorned with intricate patterns. As he sat up, he noticed a pitch black ring on his finger, one that he couldn't seem to take off no matter how hard he tried.

"What is this?" he muttered to himself, feeling a sense of confusion wash over him.

Just as he was trying to make sense of his surroundings, a young woman in a long, flowing robe entered the room. She had a kind face and a gentle smile.

"Welcome, Sun Long," she said. "I am glad to see you are awake."

"Who are you?" Sun Long asked, still confused.

"I am Wei Ying, a servant of the deity, Tian," the woman replied. "He has brought you to the great Yan plane, a higher plane of existence, as a reward for your deeds in your previous life."

Sun Long's mind raced as he tried to remember his past life. Suddenly, a flash of memory came to him. He remembered dying in a tragic accident, hit by a truck as he was crossing the street.

"I died," he said, a sense of sadness and shock washing over him.

Wei Ying gave him a sympathetic look. "Yes, you did. But your deeds in your previous life were enough to earn the favor of Tian. He saw potential in you and gave you the opportunity to continue your journey in the great Yan plane, where you can cultivate your strength and become a powerful cultivator."

Sun Long raised an eyebrow. "I don't see the point in cultivating. Can't I just live a quiet life here?"

Wei Ying gave him a gentle smile. "Of course you could, but think of the possibilities that cultivation offers. With hard work and determination, you can achieve immortality and live forever in the great Yan plane."

Sun Long's eyes widened in shock. "Immortality? That's amazing!"

Sun Long considered this for a moment, but ultimately shook his head. "I appreciate the offer, but I'm not sure I'm cut out for all that. I think I'll just live a quiet life here."

Tian has brought you to the great Yan plane for a reason, and it is his will that you cultivate your strength. If you refuse, he may choose to punish you by condemning you to a place worse than hell for eternity."

Sun Long's eyes widened in fear at the thought of being punished by a deity. "I see," he said, feeling a sense of dread wash over him. "I'll start cultivating then."

Wei Ying gave him a relieved smile. "I'm glad to hear that, Sun Long. Trust in Tian and the power of the ring, and you will find success. Now, come with me. It is time for you to begin your journey."

With a wave of her hand, Wei Ying teleported Sun Long to a dense forest on the great Yan plane. As Sun Long looked around at the towering trees and the faint aura of energy he couldn't quite identify, he couldn't help but feel a sense of fear and uncertainty for what lay ahead.
