7 UNEDITED VERSION

At this very moment, I kissed my innocence goodbye because before me laid the scene I had only read of in the history scrolls.

"Help me please!" Never in my life have I ever heard such desperation in her voice or anyone's for that matter.

And just like that things happened faster than I could understand. Maybe it may have been the cry in her voice or the fact that the foreigner was unarmed and naked with his penis erect ready to inflict pain on his victim tied down with a cloth, but I know something snapped in Arcotos' head that day.

Before the foreigner could react or understand what is happening Arcotos charge at him and leaps through the air with his jaws wide open. And just like that Arcotos swallows this male's angry-looking penis then bites it hard. He screams so loud that I have to cover my ears.

He tries to push Arcotos off him, he succeeds.

But he is left without the organ that makes him male. He falls and screams some more and I am unsure of what this means, will he die?

I watch Dion rush to him and plunge the giant knife into the foreigner's chest, a gasp can be heard in the room. It came from me.

Some blood splatters on Dion, he quickly tries to wipe it off but they end up getting smeared, meanwhile more blood keeps flowing out of the foreigner's flesh wound, and just like that I watch the life slowly leave the eyes of this man. It now looks empty and dull.

Cough mixed with gagging sounds kills the silence and distant shouts that feel far away. Arcotos coughs till the foreigner's penis falls out of his mouth. He then comes to sit beside me, I truly don't know whether I should be proud or scared because I have never seen Arcotos being violent. He did it to defend Felicity.

As soon as I remember her, I rush to help Dion untie her from my bed, "Oh thank Boreas you came in time." she falls to her knees crying not bothering to cover her nakedness, so I quickly rush to my trunk where my clothes are kept. When I find two pieces that are big enough to tie around her I rush to her and for the first time in my life I dress someone other than myself up.

That day was my first for a lot of things.

Unfortunately, it was things that should not be anyone's firsts.

Kneeling beside Felicity has me so lost, what do I say? What do I do to make her feel better? If we had been a moment late she could have been brutally raped, what would we have done then?

"We can't stay here for long, we need to leave now before anyone that is not from our land comes through that door," Dion says while his voice shakes. Even you would be shaken up by the fact that you just made your first kill.

I quickly try to help Felicity stand to her feet, then Dion comes to her aid, when we are confident that she can stand on her own we let her go. Without wasting any more time I rush to where the hidden door within the wall is located. At that time my mind couldn't process a single thing.

When I pry it open Felicity's jaws are wide open in utter disbelief. I can't blame her, no one except Dion knew about this door and maybe my ancestors. "That's how she had been escaping her lessons." Till now I still wonder how she and other people never found out, and why Dion never sold me out even if he knew that if he did it would have ended my series of escapes.

"And you never told me?!" She turns to look at Dion, he only shrugs as his response. "Unbelievable!" She shakes her head and walks through the door after me then Dion follows. I look around the room for Arcotos.

"He's here." I hear Dion say, so I check behind me and sure enough there he is standing there. What can I say? We were like two peas in a pod.

"When did you even come in here?" I ask him even though I know he wouldn't reply to me. Without any more words being said I shut the door as tight as I can.

"So what do we do now?" Felicity's voice comes out like a squeak, I have no idea and I can't imagine how she must be feeling right now.

"I think her highness should lead the way this time because I have no idea what this passageway looks like?" The uncertainty is so visible that his statement comes off as a question.

"Alright, you both should use the wall to guide you, it's a straight path," I say then bump into Dion while I am trying to get closer to the wall to help guide me. "Sorry."

"It's fine." He quickly says.

Wordlessly we begin to walk down the passageway.

Until the silence is broken, "Where do we go from here? Aren't we under attack? Would we even be able to defend ourselves if the time comes?"

"I only know of where I am to bring her Highness to and yes we are under attack but I don't think we can defend ourselves against these people, we just have to avoid them as much as possible." Dion replies to Felicity to which she says a small, "ok."

Not long after we finally reach the door that is separating us from the chaos outside, suddenly something occurs to me and I just had to ask, "How did you find my family?" I wait patiently for an answer.

"I rushed to the dining room when we saw the dragon in the sky that the guards outside had spotted, you were not there. The king gave me instructions on where to bring you somewhere outside of Pohjola. I looked in every possible place for you and by that time those foreigners had entered the castle so I had to be careful, if I hadn't followed my instincts to check the dining room I don't think I would have found you." His voice stays low and calm, well that answers the question.

I had thought what are the odds that Dion would find me in the dining room? I had made sure no one saw me when I went into that place so why did he come there when any palace guard would know that the royal family would be running for safety?

With every ounce of courage I could find within myself I slowly open the door and peer through the vines that hide the door from sight. Abruptly, I'm pulled away from the door. "Wait, let me make sure there is no danger," he whispers.

The silence is no longer present, the quakes and screams become so loud it makes me wonder about the horrid things that must be happening to the people out there. Moments pass by and I begin to get impatient.

"Ok, we would have to run into the forest across, that is our best chance of getting away." Dion turns to whisper to us.

Without waiting to first consider whether that was a good enough plan or if it was just plain stupid, like the naive fools we were we ran out of that door like thieves running away from guards. It was a very short distance.

"Ya! Stop there!" A loud male voice shouts with a foreign accent.

And it was at that moment I knew we fucked up.
