Naeun almost fell out of her chair after she heard Isabelle Hemlock's words.

Had her ears stopped working or was she hallucinating?

Free of cost? What the hell? Were Vampires usually this nice or was she an exception or something? Something seemed fishy here. Free things always had another deal with them.

"Do you give everybody a free pass?" Naeun asked with a cynic smile.

Thye couldn't give everyone free entry. Where would the money come from then? 

Mrs. Hemlock looked up and shook her head. "No, not everyone. But your answer pleased me and you don't look like you would be the bad type. Be grateful. I don't do this for everyone. It's your choice. Either take it or leave it."

Naeun considered her answer for a moment. She was telling the truth. Even though Naeun could look in others' eyes and find out their thoughts, she gathered that she couldn't do this with Vampires.
