"What is this?" She said, lower than a whisper but Jaemin heard it.

"This is our secret lair. Nobody knows about it except us top 5. Come, I will show you around."

Jaemin showed her the whole base. There were cells for each person. They weren't allowed to come outside except if they were capable to work for Bulletproof.

"But how is it still hidden? Can't a spy come in here?" Naeun asked shocked at seeing something hidden from KIA for so long.

"Impossible," Jaemin replied smiling. "All the people who come here are street kids or orphans who don't have anybody left. When they enter Level 7 they go through a Lie Detector which is one of the best ones in the whole world. They are giving a drug that assures they are not in their senses and they are tested."

"If they lie... well they don't get out from here and get killed. And the people who pass the tests are kept for training. They are again given a drug that makes them unconscious for a whole day and when they wake up the next day they don't remember anything. We just tell them that we rescued them and they stay loyal and grateful to Bulletproof forever."

"Why are you trusting me so easily then? Why aren't you testing me?"

"Because Taehyun trusts you. And that's enough for the rest of us." He said smiling.

Does he trust me this much? Why...

Jaemin also showed her the torture room from far away as that was where traitors, betrayers, and enemies were investigated and taken care of. And that rival leader was going to end up there. After the tour Jaemin brought Naeun back to the mansion and left her, leaving again for Level 7 for some important business.

Naeun went straight to her room. She had too many things to think about and process. She was also very tired from the whole day's excitements and a good sleep in bed sounded too pleasant and appealing to her.

Next Day,

Naeun was now on her way to someplace unknown with Taehyun. He had woken her up early in the morning and took her with him in his Lamborghini.

They had been traveling for 2 hours straight and Taehyun still hadn't told her where they were headed. After another 1 hour, Naeun looked out the window to spot a helicopter station. She turned to face Taehyun who was already staring at her. There was a calm, deep silence between them, and looking into his eyes Naeun spotted...

Loyalty?

Care?

Desperation?

Honesty?

...Love?

It confused Naeun and scared her at the same time. But wasn't she supposed to gain his trust? Then why was she scared? Why was she scared to betray him?

"Tell me what do you see in my eyes? What is this feeling I have for you? You know more right? Because I feel it but I have no idea what to call it. Is this what love feels like? If you know then don't keep me in the dark."

He then placed his lips softly on the back of her palm making Naeun feel things she hadn't felt before. Then taking her hand gently in his, he led her out of the car helping her sit in the helicopter. After getting seated in himself, the pilot started the helicopter, and it flew off into the air.

"Where are we going?" Naeun asked.

"So you finally decided to speak?"

"I just want to make sure I'm not going to experience another death."

"I'm sorry for what Jaemin did in front of you," Taehyun said and Naeun felt the genuineness in his voice.

"But I have a feeling that you could do the same thing."

Taehyun chuckled, "I don't do that. Wrong. I do worse."

"Where are we going?"

"We are going to Country B to visit my family."

"You have a family?" Naeun questioned maintaining the 'I'm mad!' attitude but internally she was really happy. She was finally going somewhere in this mission and Taehyun's family would be massive information for KIA.

Finally, something is happening.

"A big one," Taehyun replied.

"Why do you want me to meet them?"

"You'll see."

After some time the helicopter landed around a green area and Taehyun got out with Naeun following close behind. They reached a place surrounded by a building with a park in the center of it. Many kids were playing there and as soon as they noticed Taehyun they started smiling and cheering. Naeun looked at Taehyun shocked to find him smiling and waving too. A 14-year-old boy came running up to the pair and looked up at Taehyun with awe.

"We heard that we were not to disturb you as you were here with a guest but I really wanted to meet you."

You wanted to meet a gangster? Kids these days...

"It's okay," Taehyun replied with a smile. "I don't think I've seen you here before."

They continued talking and the boy said hello to Naeun too; then saying goodbye they went on walking again.

"Who are these kids? Is this is a university?" Naeun asked, examining her surroundings.

"This isn't a university. It's my family."
