For the past couple of hours, his mind had been swirling with new knowledge, vast ideas, and concepts he didn't fully understand.
His brain was expanding, adapting to the collar's enhanced cognitive functions, but it was also beginning to get overwhelming. It was like trying to read every book in the library at once while also solving quantum equations in his head.
"Okay, Morty, focus," I mutter to myself, rubbing my temples. "I gotta figure out a way to survive this... Anatomy Park's coming up, and I need to be prepared. Like, really prepared."
He looked down at the collar, which was glowing faintly. The little black device looked innocuous enough, but he could feel it coursing with potential. If he could just figure out how to use it—really use it—he might have a shot at surviving what came next. Anatomy Park was close, and it wouldn't be long before things got... messy
----------------------------
Okay, so maybe it's not exactly a lab, but in my room right now, I've turned the place into one big chaotic mess of tech I've gathered. Old gadgets, wires, and half-finished experiments. The collar's doing something to my brain; I can already feel it—I'm thinking faster, clearer. It's like I've unlocked a whole new level of understanding. Like, Rick's inventions are now... my inventions.
I glance around, staring at the stuff I've scavenged. There's an old blender sitting on the floor. A few broken gadgets lying around, some spare wires. A couple of batteries and metal scraps. I've seen Rick do his thing so many times now these past couple of days, I think I know enough to piece something together.
"This is crazy," I whisper to myself. "But if I can build what Rick does.." an idea formed in my mind.
And just like that, the idea hits me. Shrink ray. Rick has one. I've seen it work. I can make it work, too. I reach for the blender, twisting it in my hands, trying to figure out what I can use and how I can adapt it. The collar's hums softly, feeding me knowledge, blueprints, and even the physics behind the shrink ray.
Before I even realize it, I'm working, my hands moving like they've got a mind of their own, putting things together at lightning speed. The collar's feeding me the exact steps, the measurements, the wiring. It's like my brain's on autopilot—like I'm some sort of mechanical genius.
I step back to admire my work, and sure enough, there it is: a makeshift shrink ray, looking a little rough around the edges but functional. I look at a random ceramic anime figurine on my desk. I've got this.
"Okay, here goes," I mutter, pointing the shrink ray at the anime girl figurine. I hesitate for just a second, then pull the trigger.
The room shimmered. and a blast shot fro the gun hitting it directly.
Unfortunately after the flash of light was gone he was left with a burnt explosion girls cape half gone.
Although it fail he understood why, It was clear he actually needed to learn how to build the items he wants.
With this new found info I quickly went to Ricks garage to find so scamatics potentially lying around. "Who knows maybe i'll get lucky" he huffed.
-----------------------
So I may have taken some liberties with Rick's tech. But, hey, he probably won't notice. I grinned Rick was practically feeding me schematics.
Although most didn't seem very useful for any reasons besides to have fun he hit the jackpot with this. Rick's space cruiser.
Although a lot of it didn't make any sense to him,, especially the engine, he could work around those small issue. I'm like a walking, talking Rick when it comes to this stuff now'.
Beginning immediately I grabbed his tools and necessary supplies in order to construct this Mortmobile and headed to my "laboratory" a mixed of fear and anticipation itching at me.
-----------------------------
Days later..
Snow filled the grounds of our neighborhood signaling something big was going to happen.
The episode had started and his creation although poorly made was almost complete..
With keys in hand, I admired my work, in the middle of my backyard there was a spear shaped ship lying in parts across the grass. each piece a shade of a reddish black bean. next to it stood a compact rocket engine.
It took me all night and day to create the engine it's completexity really confused me at first but the more I did it the more I understood, as though something was wispering the answer into my ear.
"Now how do I hide this?" it was the crack of dawn and he'd just took all these pieces from his room, although the spaceship wasn't big compared to many even being slightly smaller than rick's i'd be impossible to hide it within his small room.
'If only that shrink ray worked, I wouldn't be having this issue" I sighed content with my progress but stumped on how to hide this mess.
I'd have to think of something and the best idea my cognition amped mind could come up with is burying it.
With this I acted quickly, Id need to build something efficient to bury all this stuff in just a few minutes luckily with the collar at play I remembered all the random miscellaneous stuff rick had built.
A Top that spins forever, a plant that looked like an offshoot of the mega seed, a box that contained superheated plasma, and a extendable sword.
I knew only one of these device weere actually useful enough to help me solve multiple 'issues' and that was the laser box. Although it was heavy all I had to do was change a couple of things within it them it could be used as the most efficient ground digger, a make shift bomb.
Morty got back to work in his laboratory and quickly began tampering with the gadget splayed on the table with the rest of the pile next to it.
'Once Im finish the ship will be buried in no time, and i'll finally have a weapon to use in Anatomy park' he thought as his mind pushed him to make the creation faster.
Sorry im kinda slower with my rick and morty episodes I had to make time for school.
