1842 Coaxing to Sleep

As Xie Limo attentively fed the baby with the milk bottle, he looked gently at Yun Bixue.

"This child is smart. He's our boy."

Yun Bixue cocked her head and looked at her soundly asleep daughter, then said quietly, "I wonder if our daughter is hungry?"

"Yun Dong has already fed her milk. She only just fell asleep, so don't worry."

Yun Bixue raised her head and met Xie Limo's gentle gaze. She felt herself lost in that warmth, the warmth that was warming up her body and heart.

Her face flushed in embarrassment.

Her flushing caused Xie Limo's expression to stir. He reached out to caress Yun Bixue's hair. "Ah Xue, it's been tough on you."

Yun Bixue knew that the events since last afternoon till now had made Xie Limo feel terrible. She shook her head and comforted him, "Don't say things like that in the future. We're a married couple. I can't rely on you for everything."

After feeding the child, Xie Limo coaxed him to sleep.
