This is the Heart of Abey we're talking about.
How to buy? With what money?
Since the Heart of Abey came into existence and was acquired by the European royal family, it has never changed hands. One reason is the royal family's affection for it; another is that as the world situation tends toward peace, such jewels and antiques have become even more valuable, leading to rising prices with the market.
As the saying goes, in troubled times, invest in gold; in prosperous times, in antiques.
Isn't it a time of prosperity now?
The royal family displaying the Heart of Abey at exhibitions had, in fact, never intended to sell it. The whopping price tag of nine hundred and ninety million was exaggerated; their actions were merely meant to showcase their family's heritage and gain fame.
The world is full of wealthy people, but no one wants to be a sucker.
And yet the royal family was not afraid of actually getting an order when they put it up for sale...
