The Hunger

Yui wakes up, tired still rubbing her eyes. Not remembering exactly what she was thinking about last night. Staring at the wall for a couple of minutes in a daze. She got up and walked to the door, then twisted the knob and as a surprise to her.

"it opened!" she says with a burst of excitement.

'Maybe I can escape now', she thought.

She starts by walking down the long hall, with many pictures that could be seen hanging from the walls. Several doors can be spotted throughout the hall, she can only assume leads to more bedrooms. Yui turned the corner at the end of the hall and what appeared was a more spacious room. The floor is made of dark marble with the walls matching in grey. Standing in the middle was a gigantic statue of someone she doesn't recognize.

'Where to next?' She thought with confusion while scratching her head.

"Um?" A nimble voice could be heard behind Yui.

"Whaa!" Yui yells out being surprised by the sudden intrusion.

When she turns around she notices a girl dressed in a maid uniform. The young maid had black hair, grey eyes, sharp fangs, and pointy ears. She was a vampire too. When the maid notices the pure silver hair, she hurriedly gets down on her knees and bows to her.

"I'm sorry for my sudden intrusion. I didn't realize it was the princess, please accept my sincerest apologies." The maid said in a frightened voice.

"Ah, do not worry about it. I was just surprised," Yui said with a smile on her face. "Please stand up."

The maid then stands up and gives one last bow to her, still frightened by Yui.

"Since you are here, do you think you can kindly lead me to the front entrance?" Yui said with a cheery voice trying her best not to frighten the maid.

"Ah… Ah yes, may I," the maid says with a slight shiver. "Please follow me."

Yui then proceeds to follow the maid down several doorways. With many twists and turns you would think this castle was a maze. They soon arrived at what appeared to be a fairly large door. The door was was at least 8 ft tall, with the color of it looking like it was dyed in blood.

"Here we are." the maid says nervously.

"Thank you for leading the way." Yui bows to the maid and she bows back. Yui then proceeds to walk towards the large door.

"Finally I can get out of this wretched place." She says with a smile on her face.

Right when the door is about to open, it slams shut. Yui starts to push on the door even harder but it won't budge.

"You bitch, why won't you let me out!" Yui says while yelling furiously.

A swarm of bats appear suddenly and Ahmya shows up. She then slaps Yui on her face leaving a red mark on her right cheek, looking like its could bleed at any moment from how hard she slapped her.

"No blood for you today miss!" Ahmya says angrily.

"Tsk" Sounds of pain could be heard coming for Yui.

"It isn't like I need it," Yui says confidently.

"You really think so, you will see how badly you truly need it." Ahmya says with a smirk.

"Let's get started then shall we," with a smile on her face she grabs Yui's arm and they run off.

Ahmya and Yui then approach a wide open field out back in the castle's perimeter.

"We should start with magic and the sacred abilities that only the royal bloodline poses. It should not be that hard for you considering you are my daughter." Ahmya says proudly.

"First you need to remember these abilities use your blood. You must make sure you are full if you get caught in a fight."

"And make sure you don't go drinking the blood from those ugly Orcs, they are absolutely disgusting beings." Ahmya says with a sickly look on her face.

Yui stands there with an uninterested look on her face.

"You must pay attention or I'll take away the only privileges you currently have." Ahmya says with an irritated look on her face. "Okay, so let's start with [Blood Moon]. This forces blood into a ball like form and the more you pour into it, the bigger the ball gets and its destructive power rises."

Ahmya magnificently makes a blood ball appear, and within seconds the ball was as big as her body. She then throws the ball as far as she could in front of them.

"BOOM!" The sound of the explosion could be heard for miles.

"What!" Yui says with shock in her face.

'So this is how strong vampires are of the royal bloodline. This is way stronger than any knight I have met,' she thought.

After the dust cleared you can see a fairly large hole in the ground. Big enough to wipe out a small army.

"That's not the biggest you can make the ball. The ball size can increase forever, but remember it uses your blood and you don't want to be left vulnerable after just one attack"

"Now you try it," Ahmya says with encouragement.

Yui tries a few times not getting it at all. She was getting frustrated knowing that if she doesn't succeed, she will be punished.

"You must visualize it. This is not something you can force!" Ahmya yells.

'So all you need to do is visualize a ball increasing in size,' Yui thought.

A ball then appears in Yui's hand increasing in size at incredible speeds. Once she feels it's big enough she throws the gigantic blood ball. A loud explosion then could be heard following a huge crater.

"Great job, I knew you would do it," Ahmya says with excitement.

Yui then drops down on her knees.

"I don't feel great," with a nauseous look on her face. "I feel really thirsty and hot, what is this?"

"Since you haven't eaten at all ,you are having a bloodlust," with a serious look she walks over to Yui. "When you don't eat for a couple of days your body will start heating up and your thirst for blood will be uncontrollable."

"I can't handle this!" Yui yells out with pain.

Ahmya pulls her gothic dress down to her waist and exposes her body to Yui.

"Here, eat my daughter. With royal blood this should feel you up quickly."

Yui then uncontrollably bites into Ahmya's shoulder and starts to drink for what feels like hours.

After Yui is done she wipes her mouth and has a satisfied look on her face.

"I can't believe I did that," Yui said in a scared voice.

"It's okay, as long as you don't go without blood for too long you will be fine," Ahmya says while comforting her.

"Now be glad I awarded you for your efforts," Ahmya says seriously. "Don't go thinking you will always get blood, I can make your life miserable."

"Yes I know." Yui says while being annoyed.

"Now that you know the importance of blood, I hope you will think twice about talking bad about your mother again."

"Yes, mother," Pain can be seen on Yui's face when trying to force that out.

"Good, let's move on then. Now I will teach you to act more like a royal vampire, and less like an orc."

"What! No you can't make me, I wont do it!" Yui yells out.

Ahmya then glares at Yui with an intense look scaring her.

"Tsk. I am sorry mother, shall we go," Yui says while gritting her sharp teeth.

"We shall." Ahmya says with a smirk on her face knowing she will break her.
