CHAPTER 1

Rey slowly opened her eyes, the unfarmiliarity of where she was, was evident as she sat up.

Looking around she noticed that she was in a living room or so it looked like one.

Then from where she sat she noticed that she was on an extra large grey corner sofa, right above her on her left side she noticed a huge black flat-screen Tv and straight ahead was a brown arm chair which was between a book case and some speakers on a wooden table, her eyes still scanning the entire of the other non essential furnitures she shot her legs down and her right leg hit a coffee table which on top of it were three different remotes and some magazines.

"You are awake," She heard a voice from the inside exclaim, so she turned around unaware of how badly her leg had been hit.

A black haired fair woman who was maybe in her mid twenties with light eyes, was average in terms of height and shape, had on a blue faded jeans and a creamy t-shirt.

"Did your hear what I said?" She asked again, but all Rey could do once she stopped staring at her was check herself and her surroundings.

"Is everything alright?" The woman asked once more walking over to her.

"Don't come any closer!" Rey warned as she stood up.

"Am sorry, I do not mean any harm." The woman apologized taking a step back, Rey's warning just held her back even though she wasn't the type to get afraid of anyone.

"You are human, you always do." Rey stated a hint of anger could be felt in her voice.

"What?" The woman asked shocked.

"Where is my royal seal?" Rey asked noticing that she only had the engagement ring and the black wristwatch on her left hand but the other ring was missing, still staring at the human woman infront of her she felt the burning desire to get it over with, she had no problem with that and the person who stood in front of her posed as a threat to her but something held her back and she slowly lay a hand on her chest, closed her eyes then opened them.

"On my right hand I had a ring where is it?"

She asked walking towards her.

"Oh, that ring, I have it." The woman smiled at her while she took out the ring and passed it to Rey.

"Why is it so important anyway?" She wondered.

"This is a royal seal, it bears the mark of my royal line." Rey explained putting it back on her index finger.

"The T.O.N.V.C?" She asked.

"Yes." Rey replied simply.

"It means The Octus Nova Vasten Court." She added.

"Am Ellen." She extended her hand to Rey.

"It would be in your best interest if I do not at any chance touch you E-, how do you spell that name?" Rey asked and Ellen chuckled hiding a laugh.

"Its E-l-l-e-n." Finally after almost a whole minute of utter silence she spelled it for her.

"Okay human, how did I get here?" Rey asked, she had sensed the difference in their air, the way Ellen's heart was beating and her behaviour was enough to tell her she was not with one of her kind.

Human, Gosh whats wrong with this one, did she hit her head or something?

"Yo-" Ellen scratched her head.

"Nothing is wrong with me, and I did not hit my head." Rey stated and while Ellen stared at her wondering what on earth had just happened, knowing perfectly well she had only thought of the statement Rey had spoken.

"I would know." Rey added something clearly amiss, so she closed her eyes and tried to recollect her events of earlier before and nothing came, all she could see was herself that morning walking at the royal garden after paying her mother a visit but after that she didn't seem to recall any events past that no matter how much she tried, it was like her mind was blocked or nothing happened three hours before.

"By the way why couldn't I remove the golden ring you have on your ring finger?" But then Ellen's question drew her to the engagement ring on her ring finger, and seeing it she sighed in relief knowing that even though she was in utter shock about her environment, something was there, something that could in a way be a link to her way back home.

"Because only the one who put it there can be able to remove it." Rey explained taking a sit where she had woken up from.

"What do you mean?" Ellen asked sitting just a few meters away from her, she was clearly scared that was obvious with her looks, Rey could tell but she choose to just let it pass.

"I am engaged and this ring means its been sealed."

"Wow," Ellen gasped amazed.

"I need you to tell me how I got here, or I will have to do it the hard way." And just like that the air drifted from a little bit better to a whole different one.

"Who are you anyway, your body seems...I don't know, I know in a way its like mine but I can tell it's not entirely like mine, the clothes you have on, are like the ones wore by some guards of some high place, the threats you are scaring me with, the color of your eyes." Ellen stood up agitated.

"I am Princess Arillia Rey Vasten, or Arillia Rey Vasten the fourth from Octus Nova!" Rey shot her a cold look and Ellen forced herself to calm down, as she watched Rey walk to her slowly with ease Rey stretched out her hands, placing her two index fingers on Ellen's brains and then she closed her eyes, reading them all, allowing herself to to be a part of the events that followed Ellen to find her on a bare ground from a form of land.

"Something is not right." Rey shook her head stepping back.

"What did you do to me, I can feel my head spinning."

"Take a sit, let your body rest." Rey said to her, forcefully Ellen took a sit rubbing her head.

"What were you doing to my brain?" Ellen asked again.

"Getting what I wanted to know from you!"

"Who are you!" Ellen asked her heart racing.

"I am not from this earth, if you haven't noticed I am not human like you." Rey said.

"And I need to get home because something is wrong, and I can't stay here while my home scatters." She added.

"Get home? I don't understand, because if you are not human like me, that, that means that you are an ali-." Ellen shook her head trying to comprehend everything that was happening but when she was about to complete the word she was so afraid of uttering she stopped noticing Rey wasn't paying attention to her.

"You have company." Rey said, staring at the front door, the air outside alerting her that someone or two of  them, who she could feel they were about to cause trouble were about to join them.
