2 Rebirth part 2

I approach the area where I am to be hanged. After some time, I am taken towards the podium with the guards that accompanied me to make sure that everything that happens happens correctly. After I killed the princess, the people of Seloria had completely taken all of their support back in mere seconds.There was no way I could have survived these 20 years in this prison without getting killed, but I helped out the rebels in finding resources and providing them information inside the kingdom. I was afraid of dying, because I was informed about my family. My mother, Delores was still inside the clutches of rebellion along with my wife and my children. I was hence forced to live under the pretense of providing information. But the help I gave them was completely overshadowed last year. The king of Seloria payed the rebel army with ten percent of the land of The kingdom for one thing, my Head. but I don't blame him. after all, I killed his daughter. "I hope they are alive" I thought. although I was informed about the condition of my family, I was never allowed to see them. they had been informed that I was dead after I killed the princess and joined the rebellion, hence they got such help. But today, I was going to die. I wished that I hadn't been so arrogant in my behavior towards the princess, but she deserved it. "Wait a second!" a loud voice halted the proceedings and suddenly a man with fair complexion came into my sight. This man was none other than The King of Seloria, His Highness Jason Seloria. Dressed in purple Royal outfit, he ordered, "I will kill this ungrateful bastard with my own hands!" Judging from the words I instantly knew that he did not have a clue about what her daughter did. He removed his sword from the scabbard and calmed himself down, whereas I was forced to kneel down in front of him. I saw his sword. I remembered the day he had appointed me as the commander of the battalion 'Soaring Falcons' and had given me the honor of being promoted to knighthood.

"In the name of the Kingdom, the Army, the King and the God that protects us, I pledge my allegiance to the Holy land of Seloria!" I shouted. the sword came swinging down towards my neck and I was freed from all the chains restricting me.

"Where am I?" I asked myself. I did not know where I was. It was a place filled with darkness. No light could be seen anywhere. Suddenly, I heard a voice "it's rare to see such a pure soul these days. Moreover, you had to undergo such difficult circumstances and yet did not lose your brightness.

I am impressed! Alright, enough with all the chit chat, I don't have much time. Listen, take the ring that is coming towards you. Once you wear it, you will be sucked into the mana void. And after that
