5 SURPRISES

"oh shit!" emy curse to herself, eyes wide realizing the flashing cameras at them, on their spot while she was resting her body at this man's arms, and this is not just an ordinary man, 'he is an idol!' she exclaimed on her mind!

She immediately stand, bowed her head and slightly block her face with her hair, she took a step back to distance herself from the man as she nervously says "I'm sorry".

"Are you alright? Did you get hurt?" the man asked worriedly but then before Emy get to answer him, the man was immediately flooded by the questions from the media and men from security department immediately came to rescue and escort the idol group, when Emy finally raise her head to look back at the man, they were already walking away with security guards around them.

She can't help but look at the man's back as he slowly walk away, suddenly the man looks back to her spot and blink adorably at her that made her body stiff.

Emy blink twice,thrice, and after a while she got back to her senses realizing that she needed to head back at the waiting lounge for her application result.

'Oh shits do happen twice! Let's get going Emy!' she cursed at herself again and run towards the waiting lounge.

Once she got there, she saw the company representative walking towards her and says "oh Ms. Greyson there you are! I've been looking for you..I have your application result." But the representative stops talking when she notices something and she ask Emy "are you alright Ms. Greyson? You look…tense"

"Ah...yes Ma'am! I'm just... Nervous?! Ahehe" Emy gave an awkward smile but no it's not because of the result that she was feeling tensed, it's just that she still can't shrug off what had happened awhile ago.

"Alright...Anyway about the result, you passed! Congratulations Ms. Greyson!, I will schedule your orientation tomorrow morning, see you then"

"Thank you Ma'am" and the company representative leave. Emy is excited to tell the good news so she decided to go home; she walks toward the elevator but before she could press the elevator button someone grab her hand and drag her to the next room.

The room was unoccupied as it is quite dark and noiseless, hearing the click of the door knob as the person locked the door from the inside, Emy's heart beat starts to race as she didn't know who dragged her into this, and the situation terrifies her.

The man turned on the lights for the both of them to be able to see clearly, and when Emy was finally able to look at the person's face; she got shocked as he was the man from a while ago, one of the idol.

He is now wearing a black bucket hat then he took off his black face mask and smile so handsomely at her. Emy being dumbfounded unconsciously says "you...why are you here?"

Meanwhile, Ada leaves the coffee shop and went to meet her client after changing clothes inside her luxurious car. She entered The Gallery and the secretary of the CEO immediately accompanied her to lead the way. It was an elegant art exhibit full of fancy and breathtaking piece of paintings that only those with higher status could afford.

The secretary opens the door to the conference room for Ada to come in; she was shocked to see the man sitting beside the CEO that is also looking towards her. There was an obvious confusion that is written all over her face's reaction and she slowly takes a seat to join them.

"You look so lovely even if you're surprised...I missed you Ada" Justin purposely says and signaled her assistant to serve coffee for the lady. Ada notice Harry having a poker face, and yes! The man is none other than Harry!

"Ah...You know It just comes naturally" ada giving a confident answer though she is feeling really awkward and it makes her uncomfortable.

"Yes you are as always...by the way, as you can see Harry here visited me to talk about you" as Justin said this, Ada spilled the coffee she was sipping as she instantly got tense with his words.

"Yes you heard me right...Harry referred a new designer instead, but I said I still wanted to hear from you if you'll accept the job or not...so Ada what do you think?" Justin had a serious facial expression now as he gets directly to the point. Ada got more tensed now that she seemed to be on a hot seat in front of these two men who are seriously glaring at her.

'I wish the ground would just eat me up right here right now!' she thought to herself.

Meanwhile, back at the company, Emy's body became stiff due to astonishment towards the man who is standing in front of her looking through her thick long lashed-hazel eyes. Then the man gently says "Hi! I just wanted to know if you're feeling alright?"

Emy can't help but stare at his perfect face with adorable smile 'is he a God? Or someone from heaven?' she thought to herself.

When the man notice that Emy was not moving and just staring at him, he got worried, he move closer and touch her shoulder that made Emy got back to her senses noticing their distance is just one step apart, she was already looking up at him as the guy is obviously taller than her.

"I…I am okay…no need to worry...everything is fine, really!" oh! Her mind is a bit messed up now as his behavior keeps surprising her.

"oh…okay...that's good to know then", the man just keeps staring at her face as he was astonished by what he is seeing, then his phone rang and answered it on a loud speaker without even taking his eyes off on Emy's eyes. "Yeah, what is it?" he says to the caller,

"Where you at man?...we have to go now"

"I'll be right there" he answered then hangs up the call.

"Ahmm… It looks like I need to go now…It's really nice seeing you here. Welcome to Sky Hype Entertainment!" and with that he wears his mask again and wave goodbye at Emy as he leaves the room.

Emy finally let out a sigh, she felt like suffocating with unexpected situations happening one after another, she is really confused with everything that has happened most especially with that idol's behavior.

'What's up with that boy? He keeps fluttering this old woman's heart' she thought to herself.

When she was about to leave the room, the idol's last word flashed back to her mind and she instantly realize that he actually welcomes her to the company, "how did he know?!" she asked to herself. Puzzled she went straight to the elevator and exits the company.

Meanwhile, Ada walks out from The Gallery rushing at the parking lot where her car is, she was followed by Harry who is also rushing to chase her,

"ada! Would you stop and hear me first!"

"Hear you first harry?! What about me huh?! Why didn't you talked to me first about this little plan you have?!...it is like hey ada you will look stupid today!surprise!"

"If it's my intention then why did you agreed? Why didn't you accept that job with justin?....why didn't you get mad at me back there in front of justin?"

"What do you want me to do Harry?...now your questioning my decisions?!...why? Do you want me to disagree with you and make you look stupid there?"

"I don't know ada…you should ask yourself…why did you choose to go with my plan despite of not knowing it beforehand?"

Ada just stared at him as she was trying to push back her tears from coming out, keeping herself altogether and acting up compose and calm. Then Harry continue to speak,

"That's the problem with you ada…you're always pretending to be so strong and brave, pretending you don't need anyone's help. That man justin, he is the very reason you're like that, he cheated on you back then, you got hurt, and now what huh? You'll gonna accept that job because you wanted him to see you okay…like nothing really happened…like no one can hurt and bring you down. Is that the best defense mechanism you have in mind?"

Ada can't hold back her tears and it stream down her rosy cheeks but she still act up compose and calm while wiping her tears with her hands.

"Use it…You might not need me but you'll need this" Harry says as he give her his handkerchief.

Meanwhile, away from Ada and Harry, Emy went home after the interview; she was so exhausted with everything that has happened. She immediately announced the good news once she had arrived but she still did not told her daughter Amy about the company and the artists she would be working with. After their small chat she went straight to her room to freshen up, after taking a bath she turn on her desktop, that idol's behavior keeps bothering her so she started to researching about their group,

'Well..this is not just about him..it's also a good move to know more about them and the company's background since I will be starting to work there tomorrow' she said to herself, or more like she is convincing herself that it's not just because of him that she got interested to do the research.

Ada also went home after her little fight with Harry at the parking lot; she was also exhausted and felt that she needed to relax her mind so she soak at her bath tub while listening to a mellow music, she closed her eyes to feel the soothing tune of the song but then she keeps seeing Harry's face, feeling frustrated she just open up her eyes and looked at the ceiling of her bathroom. Then she thought about their past…she still remembers it so clearly like it just happened yesterday…that moment when Harry confessed to her.
